“Alexis was great! She came over for a quick meet and greet a few weeks before the time she was needed for sitting, and my pups instantly loved her. She was there when she said should would be and took great care of the pups while we were away!”

“Melissa was such a blessing! She took the best care of our sweet Lucy. I knew Lucy was comfortable and in great hands because she ate her food everyday and usually she skips days because she’s anxious when we’re gone. Melissa sent wonderful daily updates and photos, too.”

“Megan stayed overnight with my two older dogs, one who is very nervous around new people. She was very patient when she met Maggie and it did not take long for her to calm down. The dogs were happy and my home was clean and tidy when I got home. Megan was very professional and I would definitely recommend her!”

“Christine was fabulous with her week stay with our dog Harper. She communicated often and I was highly confident in how she would take care of our fur baby. She went above and beyond to wash the linens and our house was spotless. We be booking with Christine again!”

“Jasmin was great! She is very responsible and took great care of my dogs. She also sent us pictures and kept us updated every day. I would definitely recommend her and I plan to use her again!”

“Madysen sat for Tobey for a few hours to acquaint herself with his routine and demeanor. She did a great job with him and kept us informed by communicating and sending photos via text. Tobey got along great with her and did not show any signs of distress or separation anxiety. We will be using Madysen again in Sept. for a 4-day vacation. We have no qualms about leaving him with her.”

About: Safe, clean, and paw loving home. I pay attention to details. I also keep my furry babies very busy when in my care. I love what I do. I maintain a safe, clean, and paw loving home. I am very passionate about taking care of dogs. Im trustworthy and responsible. Their happiness is my happiness. I have a secure fenced in backyard. Dogs will be free to roam my home. I have crates if needed and toys. I also take them on very long walks.
“Tim is awesome! I’ve used many sitters through Rover and Tim is the best! This is the 2nd time he has watched my 4 dogs and chickens at my house. He feeds them and spends a great deal of time with them. He also goes above and beyond by sweeping my floors and washing the bedding in my guest bedroom he slept in. It’s nice going on vacation and not having to worry. It’s also great coming home from vacation to happy dogs and a clean house.”

“You will not find a better sitter than Ryan. He went above and beyond throughout the entire process. I’m telling you - I’ve NEVER experienced such incredible ‘customer service’. My pup fell in love with him and I knew from the moment I left she was in excellent hands. I can’t recommend him more highly. Would give 10 stars if I could.”

“I literally can’t say enough about Heather. I had to go to CA for a doctor’s appt and had to be gone for a week and right before I left, my dog became really sick and needed IV for 3 days. Heather didn’t hesitate. She went above and beyond and took Maggie to the vet to make sure she got exactly the care that she needed. I wouldn’t have left my dog period, but I had that much faith in Heather and the doctor’s appt was beyond a need for me.”

“Alonnie was wonderful! She spent 3 nights with my 3 dogs and they all loved her. She is super responsive and great with updates. I’ll definitely be having her take care of my boys in the future”

About: Growing up we always had pets and now is no different with two fur babies of my own. I have a large patio with a doggie door to the large fenced in yard. I respect some dogs like to stay in the comfort zone of their own home so we can drive to feed, walk, and administer medications. Always feel free to message me with your questions. I’m available for weekend boarding for those who want to getaway for the weekend. I work full time during the week; so boarding during the week is possible; however, there would just be a little less play. I have a fenced yard and lots of toys. I also have two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed.
“Alexis was amazing first time I met her. I knew she would be great with my dog Maggie. Who is blind and deaf? And I knew she would put the patience in to take care of her for my journey away. She was an amazing pet sitter and house sitter. She did an exceptional job and I would recommend her to any one I am planning to use her in the future as well.”

About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was 10 years old. I have a Maltese, a Jack Russell, and a Pit Bull. All three of them are seniors, and I make sure they are comfortable and adjusting to aging. I am also well-versed in puppy care and have taken care of dogs of all ages, kept them entertained, and made sure they were happy. I am currently an online English tutor, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your babies. My weeks are structured, but I have flexibility. I make sure my pets are safely secured on their leashes before every walk. That they have what they need: water, treats, and doggie bags for cleanup. Making sure there are no electrical cords or anything else they could chew on. Double-checking they have food and water and are comfortable.

Lexi has truly become an "aunt" to our dogs. ❤️ This was our first time leaving Sheldon and Maggie for an extended trip since moving, and we couldn't have felt more at ease. Her communication was excellent, and the love and care she showed them was so genuine. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We couldn't recommend her more!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Stillwell walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Stillwell maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Stillwell choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Stillwell. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
