About: I've been caring for dogs for many years, for my own family pets, as well as other family member and friends. I have experience with dogs of different ages and sizes. I understand importance of providing a loving safe environment for your pets while you are away. i’m currently in my last year of high school from 8-12 and am available to come in before or after school, i also have a part time job 5-8 on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and thursdays i have a big fenced in backyard with 3 friendly dogs of my own, with a crate to put anyone up at anytime if needed
About: I am a Biological Science major currently looking for work! I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was child including bigger and smaller breeds of dogs, and a variety in ages/temperament of cats. I also have a good amount of knowledge in caring for fish, reptiles, rodents, and birds. (Not an expert, just well read!) I have also been employed previously as a Senior Caregiver under Senior Helpers Lexington, so I know caring for your fur baby will be a walk in the park (pun intended)! So weekly, I do volunteer at my local high school marching band as a percussion tech, (Go Mustangs!), so afternoons, other than Wednesday, are a no go. I am willing to do overnights (except Friday and Saturday nights) starting at 8:30 pm! Anytime during the weekday between the times of 10 am-3:30 pm are available to me! If there’s an emergency, as long as communicated and I am able, I can be more flexible with these exceptions in my schedule. My own home is not available as of right now, but at a clients home, whatever is asked of me will be completed to highest level of care and consideration. Anything I am unsure about will be communicated as promptly as possible. My main goal for caring for your loved one is that they are safe, happy, and nourishingly enriched ie taking for long walks, eating on their schedule, and giving medication if needed.

Kelsey was absolutely AMAZING! I’ll be the first to admit I am a little psycho when it comes to my three German Shepherds and I do NOT trust just anyone with them. This was also my first week-long trip away from my dogs, so I was definitely nervous. Kelsey came over beforehand to meet all three of them and made sure not only that they were comfortable with her, but that I was comfortable too. While we were gone, she showed up when she said she would, sent updates and pictures, loved on my dogs, and genuinely made being away from them so much easier for me. My oldest dog also requires medication, and Kelsey gave it exactly as instructed and even checked it off on the sheet I left for her, which gave me so much peace of mind. What meant the most was knowing my dogs weren’t just being “checked on.” They were being cared for and loved while I was gone. When you have three German Shepherds, finding someone you completely trust with them is a BIG deal, and Kelsey absolutely earned that trust. I will 100% be using her again and cannot recommend her enough!
Lexi was awesome! She came and met me and Baxter the day before to get an idea of what to do, even though I had just booked that day, which was greatly appreciated! She also worked with me on coming at a different time due to a last minute change in my schedule. She took Baxter on a walk and played fetch with him in the backyard. Lexi seems very nice, trustworthy, and seems to truly enjoy being around dogs. I would highly recommend her!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
