Our weekend at Atlanta was stressful, but not because we were worried about our old boy. I will absolutely be asking for repeat visits if he’s schedule permits!”

About: I have been caring for a variety of pets ranging from cats and dogs to rodents and horses since I was 12 years old. Since then I have fully trained my own dog to do basic tasks but also to “find” things (such as an inhaler for my mom) and stand with her back to my calves if we are in crowded areas. I am always learning new ways to better care for pets and new tricks for my own dog! I have just graduated from university so I am currently searching for a full-time job in my field. That means for now I am completely free to help out with pets whether that means walking, drop in visits, or house sitting. If I am coming over to housesit I will likely be at the house for the majority of the day and stay over at night too (or whatever the owner requests.) I am completely flexible and open to negotiation.

About: I’ve worked with dogs since I was a child. I’ve been exposed to large dog breeds (ex. Rottweilers & German Shepherds) as well as small dog breeds (ex. corgis & dachshund's). I am a certified dog trainer, with 9 years experience and can work in some Basic Obedience work with your dog during their stay or we can talk about some behavior modification and steps to move forward for private lessons. I currently work part time and have plenty of time and energy to work with and take care of your pup. I work with my own dogs twice a day but those sessions are very flexible. I don’t currently have a fully fenced in yard, but I have a large 3 car garage where the dogs will have ample space to play and get training. I have 4 dogs of different ages, sizes, and temperaments so your dog would have multiple potential playmates if you desire.

I have experience administering both pill and injectable medications prescribed by a vet, and I’m happy to brush, walk, and care for your pet(s) however you prefer. I’m here to make sure your pet(s) are well cared for and you have peace of mind. Fun fact: My family used to go out, find, and safely return lost dogs that were posted on our hometown’s Facebook page. I’m able to provide flexible scheduling, consistent attention, and reliable care throughout the day and week, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. I care for every pet like they’re my own, and I always tailor my care to match each pet’s routine, personality, and needs. In both my home and my clients’ homes, I focus on keeping pets comfortable by sticking closely to their normal schedule for feeding, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel safe in their familiar environment by maintaining their routine, giving them lots of attention, and keeping their space clean and stress-free. I also provide regular updates, photos, and communication so owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away.
