About: My name is Raven, and I am an energetic and passionate lover of animals of all kinds. I grew up in a household wherein my mom saved any animal she could get her hands on, therefore I learned how to care for cats, dogs & even snakes very early in life. Ive worked for shelters since I was a pre-teen, both in volunteer and employment capacity, as well as being on Rover for over 6 years now, and have fallen in love with every pet i've been able to care for. I'm respectful of your home, time and routine. I'm able to meld to any feeding, walking, cuddling time your animal is used to, as to not change their routine while you're away. I hope to meet you and your furry friend! I am a full time student, with a lot of my classes being online, therefore my schedule is very flexible, and I prioritize your pets before anything else. Rover is something i've cherished for many years, allowing me an opportunity to connect with families who need help, and spend therapeutic time with the animals who make them whole! I can give myself an immense amount of credit for being a very trustworthy person. I was taught by my father to leave things better than I found them, and enjoy cleaning and maintaining my own environment as well as yours. I've never had a complaint about my respect for my clients space. You may occasionally check your home cameras and find me having a conversation with your pets, but other than that, I am fully sane! As for boarding in my home, I am unable to care for dogs in my home as I have 2 cats without experience with dogs, and the number one priority in my care is safety. However, I can board cats as my cats are very comfortable and used to living in a multi-cat home.

I work night shifts, which gives me flexible daytime hours to dedicate to your dog. I’m typically available for walks mid-morning through early afternoon on weekdays, with some weekend availability too. Since I’m not juggling a second daytime job, your walk won’t be squeezed between other commitments. Safety comes first on every walk — I always use a secure leash and harness setup, stay alert to other dogs and traffic, and never take shortcuts on route or timing. I have two miniature dachshunds at home, so I understand small-breed handling, from careful leash tension to watching for signs of fatigue.

About: I have been told that I have a way with animals , especially dogs in terms of gaining their trust. I have raised a number a dogs over 2 decades living on the family ranch. The latest dog I picked out for the family was very shy and scared. But I bonded with him quickly and gained his trust. FYI, I understand that this a job that I must prioritize customer service, and the health and well-being of their pets. I am well aware the duties of house sitting would include washing toys and dishes, mopping if needed, making sure the pets get plenty of play time, walks in parks, cleaning up waste, and giving meds if needed. Also, I’ll bring my own air mattress if you wish me to spend the night house sitting your pet. Also, for your information, I am actively seeking a part-time job, so I won’t be available, as a house sitter, to stay in your home all day considering I’ll need to work and such. But I will spend the nights at your place making sure your pet is cared for by all means necessary. I am working on getting another part-time job to make ends meet, but I can provide a flexible schedule to ensure your pets gets the best service when I am needed for help. As a house sitter, I won’t be available to stay in the house with your pet all day; but will still spend the nights there taking care of your pet. I am unable to provide service to have your pet stay at my place. My backyard is too small for starters. And most importantly, the walls and fence are not built properly meaning you dog might be at risk of digging out.

About: I have lived around animals for as long as I can remember and I completely adore them. I have a fair amount of experience with dogs the smallest being a choodle (chihuahua+poodle mix) from a puppy to the largest so far being a Pyrenees. By this point I have taken care of both baby animals and senior pets with a lot of experience with keeping up with your pets medication. I also have experience with other animals like sugar gliders, hedgehogs, snakes, fish, chickens and even a horse. I reinforce any commands and training your pets are learning. I currently own a Chinese crested powderpuff named Rogue, and a miniature dachshund named Slade. Also I care for a family of stray cats that might as well be mine at this point. I usually play with animals until they are tired enough without making them exhausted. I usually keep to whatever schedule my clients give me and then some. Feedings, bathroom breaks, play time, walks, cuddles, training reinforcements and loads of pictures. I keep an eye out for just about everything.
