“Here's the thing...Mandy is awesome! She wanted to do a Meet and Greet with our pup, before setting up a walking appointment. Our Border Collie is a shy girl when it comes to strangers. Mandy came in and sat on the floor, being patient and letting our dog come to her. After maybe 2 minutes our pup was best friends with her lol. Our pup kept getting Mandy to play tug, and throw her toy. It was so funny and cute. She didn't want to just take our money. She wanted to make sure she was a good fit for our dog, before committing to a walk. That's pretty cool. After taking our pup on a walk she always makes sure there's water in the bowl before she leaves. Mandy is very organized and professional! I would 100% recommend her.”

About: In my life, I have cared for nine dogs, one cat, two snakes, and a hedgehog. I find pets to be one of the greatest things about life and I love them dearly. Friends and family have asked me to pet sit since I was 14 and it's always been my favorite thing. I am currently a full-time student Monday through Thursday but with mostly online work so I will be available every weekday for about 4-6hrs each day, longer on the weekend. Unable to care for pets in my own home as I have my own cat that does not get along with most other pets however, I am able to care for your pets in your home any way that is needed including things like frequent potty breaks, mess clean up, daily walks, and plenty of play or nap time. I am more than willing to adjust to you and your pets needs.

About: I am a junior at San Antonio college. Since I was 13 I’ve taken care of my own pets. I also have cared for pets that the families I babysit for have. We also have been fostering Great Danes for the last 2 years. Over the 2022 summer, I potty trained 2 Great Dane puppies, I also taught them how to sit, stay, and overall manners. I love animals and truly enjoy having them around. I currently can’t do boarding because I am training my own dog but I have any availability to housesit/dogsit. I have references if you’d like one just let me know 😁 I’m a junior in college. I have one in person class on Monday and Wednesday from 1-3. I have summer classes as well on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I care for my own dog, she is 5 years old American stafforshire terrier. I feed her, take her to the dog park, walk her, bathe her, and overall care for her. Though my mother does help me out when I’m busy. I make sure the dogs I’m caring for are let out when needed, I play with them as much as I can, and I feed them when they are scheduled to be fed. I love playing with dogs so I’d play with them and take them out on walks.

Experienced rescue dog mom to Lily (12) and Bonita (7), creating a safe, happy environment for your pups while you're out of town. I work from home full-time, which allows me to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. I’m able to schedule regular potty breaks, feedings, playtime, and walks with flexibility in both the daytime and evenings. In the summer, I prioritize early morning and evening walks along our shaded, tree-lined streets (or in your neighborhood if preferred) to keep pups safe from the heat. During the day, dogs are never left alone for long periods and get plenty of interaction, supervision, and affection. For slower-moving or senior pups, I’m just as happy to focus on a calm routine filled with snuggles, gentle attention, and treats. I have a large fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and play, as well as crates available if your dog is crate-trained or prefers their own space. My dogs sleep in a separate, gated laundry room, and I can provide a separate sleeping area for visiting pups if needed to ensure everyone is comfortable. I have fostered dogs from San Antonio Pets Alive for 6 years so my dogs are very familiar with guests and I carefully manage introductions and energy levels to create a low-stress environment. In clients’ homes, I stick closely to your dog’s established routine to minimize disruption following feeding schedules, walk preferences, and any specific care instructions. My goal is always to make your dog feel secure, happy, and well cared for, whether they’re in my home or staying in theirs

About: With me your pet will be safe, because I take care of them like my children, I give them all the love in the world because I have great patience with them, I treat them like my own family members and my experience in caring for pets has helped me provide all kinds of quality care; I have also learned to medicate them both orally and intramuscularly, I have dealt with disabled pets who must be given the love and patience with which they are treated; In short, I assure you that with me your pet will be another son for me. I take care of pets not only as a job, but also as entertainment, a personal enjoyment because taking care of pets is more than a job, it is a great enjoyment for me. About: I have raised litters of puppies, worked with problem cases at shelters, trained a service dog, and cared for senior pups with complex health needs. For the first time ever, I am now a cat lady and I love it just as much. Add in some experience with exotics too for good measure! I've dealt with medical emergencies and am knowledgeable and a quick thinker. I work flexible hours from home so I am available anytime. Like anyone, I avoid driving long distance during rush hour traffic, but really anytime is fair game! In your home, I am responsible and respectful. I pay close attention to detail, and make sure instructions are followed exactly. Your pet deserves the love and care you would give them yourself! You also deserve to feel confident that your pet and home are receiving excellent care, so communication is a top priority. My home is spacious, free of carpet, quiet and stress free. I have a small fenced in yard and live on a small cul de sac in a safe neighborhood. One cat and one responsible kiddo share the space, but kitty can have his own private quarters. Pets must be a good personality match for boarding, but we're pretty chill around here!
