“Cerys is awesome! I've booked her twice and will book her again for sure. From the second she met with us during the meet&greet, I could tell her and Diesel were bonded. She was receptive to all the information and "quirks" that Diesel has and worked with her. She didn't take the shortcut and just take Diesel to the park. She ran her as far as Diesel wanted to go. Diesel is so happy to see Cerys anytime she came by for a walk.”

“Patricia was/is great with Rocky! I needed someone on short notice due to my work schedule being all over the place and she was available! Very considerate with his condition and took him on a great walk!!”

“Eva watched over my elderly lab this past week. I was nervous about leaving her but Eva did a beautiful job of loving her, rubbing her, and taking care of her. I really appreciated the photos and messages on each walk. She even left me additional information on pet massage. She is excellent I have already booked her for another week in October. A real dog whisperer.”

“Katie was excellent with our 2 dogs, Snickers & Juneau. She is dependable, communicated, gave updates & took pictures. The dogs loved Katie, if I could give her an extra star, Katie deserves 6 Stars and you can trust your pet is in very responsible hands.”

About: I have been dog sitting since I was a child and love it! We go on walks every day and have a golden doodle who loves playing with a friend. I am able to give your dog lots of love and care because I am able to be home with them all day! I currently stay at home so I will be available all day and able to give your pet my full attention. I'm available all throughout the week for boarding and walking or drop ins in the mornings and afternoons. I have two friendly dogs to keep your pet company as well as large areas in my home to keep separated if preferred. I live close to the sugar creek greenway to provide as many walks and outdoor time as your pet desires.

About: I love all animals and specially dogs, I’ve had 5 dogs and 5 cats throughout my life and have loved playing with and taking care of other people’s pets. I also dog sit and walk some of my friends dogs here in CLT. I know primary care for the pets such as walking and cleaning up after they go to the bathroom and more. I also love to give pets all the extra love and attention that they deserve. My family back in VA has a golden retriever, named Gus and I love him to death! I also am comfortable with cats and taking care of them as I did when I had them before. Overall I love pets and would love to take care of any that I am able to and would appreciate the opportunites! I am currently looking for a new full time job so I am available all day and night during the week and am available during the days on weekends! I have a spacious townhouse and a big unfenced backyard for your pets! I also can take them on walks, play with them, and use whatever you use in your home that you would like and can do anything you need me to do in your home.

About: Hi! My name is Hailey and I’m a dog walker/sitter here in CLT :)) I have a fur baby of my own, a one year old Cockapoo named Lenny, who I adopted in February 2024. After growing up with Chow Chows, Jack Russel’s, Poodles, and some exotic pets (hedgehogs mostly), adopting Lenny was a no brainer and a dream of mine. From there, I turned my love for animals into a side gig of dog walking and pet sitting on the side. It has been the best decision! If you’d like to chat more, please don’t hesitate to message me! I look forward to caring for your fur baby!! As someone who works with a hybrid work schedule, I have the flexibility to fit dog walking and pet sitting into my schedule. If there is ever a scheduling conflict, I will contact you asap. I also always make sure my calendar is up to date! Dog walking is all about the dogs safety and owners preference. Whether this means an hour walk around the neighborhood, letting the dogs play in the backyard, and including some cuddles before leaving, I am open to anything! My main goal is to make sure the owner and their fur baby are having their needs met and adding some additional love to your dogs day. Although I don’t care for animals in my home, I offer drop-in visits! During these visits, I like to follow the schedule the owner prefers which normally consists of feeding times, exercise, and of course cuddles and playtime. Any other accommodations will be met!

From German Shepherds in San Francisco to a high-maintenance English Bulldog I’ve cared for since puppy training here in Charlotte, I’ve had the privilege of caring for pets of all personalities, energy levels, and medical needs. Over the years, I’ve looked after puppies, senior dogs with joint issues, pets with cancer, and animals on special diets or complex medication routines. I pride myself on leaving homes in excellent condition and pets feeling loved and well cared for. Most importantly, I want to be present for your dog. When it's time to potty or eat or play time, I'm available. It is crucial they get that company and I love just kicking it with animals (as most of us, yes, I have full on conversations with them). I'm a laid back, goofy guy who is just looking to make dogs and their owners comfortable and happy! As a freelance writer, I’m currently looking to fill my schedule with pet sitting and house care jobs. Currently I care for a calico cat and English bull dog 3-4 times a week in Charlotte. While my apartment does allow pets, my experience is fully in sitting for the animal at the respective owners homes. I find this is most comfortable for the animal and helps them stick to their routine.

She walked them, played in the snow with them and swam with them. Madison has moved away to Charlotte, NC, but she still makes trips home to see our dog Gus and often has us leave him with her for long weekends. Madison has adopted our oldest daughters dogs, Coach and Ralphie, who live close to her in Fort Mill, SC. Madison often visits them and gives them the same love and attention she gives our dog Gus. He cared for her through two ACL surgeries, handling her recovery, medications and healing with immense patience. Starmount Forest dog parents share their Rover experiences
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tony was absolutely amazing with my dog Winston! From the moment they met, Tony was kind, patient, and clearly experienced with dogs. Winston can be a little particular, but Tony made him feel comfortable and happy right away. He sent great updates and photos during the walk, which gave me peace of mind. When Winston got home, he was relaxed, well-exercised, and clearly had a great time. I’m so grateful to have found someone I can trust with my pup. We’ll definitely be booking Tony again!

Lisa has been a huge help walking my pup Mango, twice daily. She has been communicative and accommodating when it comes to the nuances of walking a 4 month old goldendoodle. She has become part of mango’s daily routine and I know he looks forward to seeing her. Would not hesitate to have Lisa help out in the future.

Megan is truly a delight to work with and I feel so grateful to have her in my puppy’s life. She is helpful with puppy training and thoughtful about her interactions and commentary with him each visit. She has helped reenforce puppy training and given great advice when we needed help or had questions. Mango looks forward to Megan each visit, and I am always confident he is in good hands. Thank you Megan!!

First, I would like to say I have never left my dog, Halen, with anyone but family. I struggled when I joined Rover to find just the right person to take care of her for a few days. Irene was the perfect find to take care of Halen. She scheduled a meet and greet with me where she could get to know Halen and her behavior patterns. She asked just the right questions and put me at ease immediately for the time I was away she showed up on time and provided updates. Most all of the updates showed a picture of Halen smiling. She also taught her some new commands. I’m so glad that I have found the dog walker that I will continue to use and that I feel understands my dog.
