About: I have a passion for animals, having worked at Zoo Miami for 4 years and a summer Animal Care Internship, focused on learning and gaining experience in all aspects of animal training and care. I was a Client Care Coordinator at Banfield and met many pets of all sizes with different temperaments. I have also volunteered at Paws4you, where I often completed tasks like walking, feeding, socializing etc. I am available through Weekdays and weekends, 9 am through 5 pm, but can be flexible. About: In my 10 years of experience, I've made friends with every critter I meet. As a person who’s grown up around animals, creating a comforting atmosphere is a skill that comes smoothly to me. I’ve cared for young animals, old animals, special needs & differently abled animals. In the time that your fur baby & I bond, I’ll be sure to leave them feeling safe, cared for & a big furry smile on their face! I am currently working full time as a Field Technician for Veo. I usually work Tues-Sat, 6am-2pm. With Tuesdays & Sundays being my class days. I am also a working musician. When I’m a clients home, I am always respectful of the space. We have worked with Alex twice now, and each time we’ve been even more impressed with the care he provides our dogs. He truly goes above and beyond what we ask of him, and our dogs always seem so happy and well cared for with him. Alex goes out of his way to get them extra treats and even spends time working on training with them. He also makes sure the house is clean and picks up the dog poop in the backyard, which makes coming home from vacation so much easier and more relaxing. He is incredibly responsive, kind, and thoughtful, and we feel completely comfortable knowing our dogs are in his care. We will absolutely continue to use Alex in the future!
Karen did a fantastic job watching my dog Rad while I was out of town. This was my first time ever using Rover and I was pretty nervous initially but Karen checked in regularly with updates on how Rad was doing and sent lots of pictures, which really helped me to relax and know that my dog was in great hands. Karen followed specific feeding instructions, gave medication to Rad per the instructions I left, was on time for two initial meetings and greets, and left my house near and tidy when she left. I will make every attempt to book with her again in the future and would highly recommend her for any owners who want their pet to have lots of attention given to them. Karen worked remotely from my house which allowed my dog to have someone with him most of the time and spent the night for 9 total nights. Highly recommend!
Madeline stayed at our house over the Fourth of July with our dog and our cat. We were a bit nervous about the timing since our dog gets scared of fireworks, but he was noticeably calm and happy when we got back, which says a lot about the care he got while we were away. Our dog also needs pills and she did a great job with feeding and the meds despite him being annoying about wanting to take them. Madeline sent photos daily and the house was in great shape when we returned. She was communicative, reliable, and clearly comfortable with both the dog and the cat. We'd book with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter they can trust over a holiday weekend or otherwise. Thanks Madeline!
Grey is awesome! He took wonderful care of my dog. Communication was excellent. I could tell from his pictures how much my dog loved him and enjoyed their time together. He went the extra mile to get to know us individually and familiarize himself with our household rhythms in order to make my short time away from home as seamless as possible for my dog. I was nervous about leaving my dog for the first time after adopting him earlier in the month, but Grey kept my mind at ease throughout.
Sarah is amazing! We had Sarah house sit for 2 weeks and I can’t say enough good things. Our dogs had so much fun and were very well taken care of! She also kept our house very clean while we were gone. We will be requesting her services every time from now on. Excellent experience!
Emily stayed at our house and watched our older dog, Charlie. We got back from a 10 day trip and the house looked cleaner than we left it and we could tell Charlie was well cared for. We got updates from Emily and lots of pictures. She reached out with questions to make sure she was taking good care of Charlie (who can be a bit temperamental at times).
