About: My partner Matt and I recently had our 14 year old husky cane corso mix named Millie pass away. We had her since she was a small puppy and tried our best to give her the best life full of hikes, treats and love. We're not ready to permanently fill our home, so we are wanting to support other pet parents while they are away. We understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets while away, especially if they are older and have medical needs. We have experience with injectable medication, oral medication, and urinary incontinence. Millie was a people friendly lady, but did not like other animals, so we are very well versed in that sort of aggression and how to handle those situations. I work hybrid-remote and my partner works from home, so someone will be home at all times. A doggy door gives your pet access to a fenced backyard and frequent potty breaks at their convenience. One household's pet(s) at a time ensures your pet(s) receives our full care and attention without the stress of unfamiliar pets. We live in a safe and quiet neighborhood giving your dog access to safe walks with many new smells. Your pet's comfort is our priority, we have comfortable dog beds for every room, and their choice of couch to lay on. We know training a pet is tough work, any pet boundaries, routines, or food restrictions will be upheld; let us know of any. If your pet suffers from anxiety, we also offer doggie daycare so they can get used to our home in a short term setting before their longer overnight stay. They can be reassured that whenever you leave, you always come back :)

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs - small and large, energetic and lazy, high maintenance and carefree, puppies and seniors - over the past 10 years for friends and family. In some cases it’s been for very extended periods of time. I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule and do not have long or late hours. I am usually up by 7am to let our basset hound out. I have a small fenced area on the side of the house and a larger but unfenced courtyard in the front. I have a sweet and gentle basset hound who I let out front regularly, and I will keep your pet safe and leashed when I take them out front.

About: Hey I’m Makayla! I live in Montbello with my partner, Kory, and would love to meet your pet! I have no pets in my home right now. I worked with Rover some years ago in my home state of Massachusetts. I really enjoyed it then and have been looking forward to when I had some spare time to do it again. I am working part time now and Kory works full time from home which provides flexibility. I have been surrounded by pets since I was a child and I have helped to care for friends and family’s pets for several years. I can walk, feed, care for, host and visit both dogs and cats with various sets of needs. I have experience with puppies and kittens as well as elderly or special needs pets. I am a social worker by trade but currently only working part time and my partner, Kory, works full time from home. I am pretty flexible with my schedule right now and would love to work with you to find a routine that works for everyone. I live in a three bedroom apartment with no other pets. I have plenty of space to bring your pet's favorite scratching posts, beds, toys, etc. My house has both a back and front yard with a short fence around the back yard. We have a small enclosed patio that is great for a quick bathroom break or for cats! I’m comfortable using crates for dogs and helping with many types of special needs for both cats and dogs.

I work from home full time, so there’s a real human around throughout the day, along with my own friendly, dog-loving pups who are always happy to have a new friend around. 🐾 Our home is a great fit for dogs who enjoy being part of the family. My dogs are friendly, social, and used to sharing their space with other pups. I love giving dogs the opportunity to play, hang out together, or simply relax side-by-side depending on their personality and energy level. I’m always mindful that every dog is different, so I let them set the pace and make sure everyone is comfortable. We have a fully fenced backyard with lots of grass, a covered patio, and a doggy door so pups can easily go in and out. Whether they want to run around and play, lounge outside in the shade, or curl up next to me while I work, there are plenty of ways for them to enjoy their day. I’ve been caring for dogs for more than 20 years, from playful puppies to sweet seniors, and I genuinely love having dogs in my home. My goal is for your pup to feel comfortable, included, and right at home while they’re here. I’ll also send regular photo updates throughout their stay, so you can see all the fun they’re having and know they’re happy and well cared for! ❤️ With two dogs of my own and working from home full time, pet care is already a natural part of my daily rhythm, something I genuinely enjoy rather than just manage. Adding your pup to the routine will be seamless (and fun)! Your dog is welcomed into my home like part of the family. Since I work from home, I'm here all day to make sure they're fed on schedule, have regular potty breaks, and never feel left alone or anxious. My fully fenced backyard with a covered patio and doggy door gives them the freedom to go outside whenever they want. Inside, they have a comfortable, calm space to rest, play, or hang out with me and my two dogs while I work. For boarding stays, bedtime routines are kept consistent and your dog has a cozy place to sleep. I'm experienced with dogs of all temperaments, including those with medical needs, and I'll always follow whatever routine and instructions you share with me.
