I specialize in caring for dogs 1 year and older, and I’m especially comfortable with both active adult dogs and senior dogs who benefit from a slower pace and extra patience. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual needs—whether that’s regular exercise, a consistent routine, or a more relaxed environment. I take pride in following each pet parent’s instructions closely, including administering medications if needed and maintaining established habits. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. You can also expect consistent communication and updates, so you always know how your dog is doing.

Alyssa is OUTSTANDING, FLEXIBLE, and a true dog whisperer in every sense! I recently adopted a dog and had a strenuous 4 days of work that got extended 2 more days last minute. I was worried how my new dog (still adapting to life with me) would do at doggy daycare. I was so relieved to see her pulling at the leash to greet Alyssa every morning, looking forward to her time with Cici, Teddy, and the crew! It was amazing! She came home to me with her tail wagging and super happy everyday. Alyssa also accommodated my very early mornings and long hours as a hospitalist and late evenings networking at the end of a long conference day. It was an overall fabulous experience, and I highly recommend it. Alyssa always responded promptly with kindness and a beautiful smile. I could tell she had bonded with Raya too :) Thank you, Alyssa! Raya can't wait to come back!!!

Schedule
My husband and I both work from home, so your dog will receive plenty of attention, walks, and playtime throughout the day. They won’t be left alone for extended periods, and I’m always nearby to provide consistent care and companionship. My husband is often around, but I’m your dog’s primary caregiver. I also have reliable transportation in case of any needs or emergencies.

Your dog will stay in a clean, safe, and well-maintained one-story home with hardwood floors and a fully fenced backyard, offering a secure and comfortable space for daily outdoor time and play. I exclusively host small dogs, which helps maintain a calm, low-stress environment without the presence of larger animals. Safety and structure are my top priorities. Dogs are supervised throughout the day, and I follow each pet parent’s care instructions closely to maintain familiar routines and ensure each dog feels comfortable and secure. When caring for multiple dogs at the same time, I carefully manage introductions to ensure compatibility and a peaceful environment. I also provide separate space or crating as needed so each dog has a safe place to rest and decompress. Walks and trips to the dog park are always a hit! There are several parks within walking distance, and I enjoy exploring nearby trails for a bit of adventure. I make sure each dog gets the right amount of exercise based on their energy level and preferences. For senior dogs or those who prefer a slower pace, I keep things calm and comfortable. I focus on gentle walks, relaxing time in the fenced yard, and plenty of quiet downtime. I tailor each day to your dog’s needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and never overstimulated.
