Decades of experience with rescues
I’ve taken care of so many different dogs in the past 40 years that I have lost count. I also was a vet technician in an emergency clinic. They’re currently living separately with my kids, but I’m also the proud owner of Gemma, my tri-pod Rottweiler, and Yogi, my trauma survivor Dogue de Bordeaux. All my dogs have been rescues, mostly large mixed breeds, and although I’m not a licensed trainer, I have experience in rewards based training - always with a carrot (or maybe a treat) never the stick!

Schedule
I work remotely and have a lot of flexibility to check in and go on walks during the day. I am also available to house sit and potentially host. I do have meetings from 5:30-8:30 on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Otherwise we will be together the whole time.

If I am house sitting, it’s really up to you and your pet’s needs. If I am hosting, you can expect your pup to get a lot of love and attention…we’re going to be very close in my studio apartment all day while I work.
A typical day
If they’re up for it, we will take breaks to walk morning, noon, and night. For more active dogs, we will go on runs at least every other day - you tell me how far they want to go and I’ll monitor how they respond - we don’t want any pup getting worn out.
