Doggy Day Care Springwater

About: I have had a dog my entire life. Many in different shapes and sizes. My last fur baby was my baby before babies and I have experience with obedience training and good citizen training. I am missing the pitter patter of paws in my home and would love to spoil your sweetie! I am currently home full time. I have three children that are 5 and under. I would love to spoil your baby in my caring home. I have a large yard and two story house with a fenced in gated deck for fresh air. I am very active and love walks and hikes!

About: I am a retired teacher who has had pets my whole life. My own children are grown and I am out of the classroom and thrive on taking care of beloved pets - my own and others. I am a hiker and enjoy having canine company when I walk. I will treat your family members with safe, loving kindness. I am involved with rescue work. Both of my dogs are rescues. My Cocker Spaniel was rescued after spending 6 years as a breeder in a puppy mill. I look at each dog I encounter as an individual with their own unique needs based on their temperament and background. This means that I am flexible when dealing with pups. I love cats but don't have one of my own because one of my dogs is reactive to them. I take care of friends' cats in their own homes. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule. I have the freedom to arrange my schedule according to the needs of the dogs in my home. I have a fenced in tard and two friendly dogs to keep your dog comfortable. My dogs are never left unattended even in the fenced in yard. I am always out with them when they are out. I am an experienced foster of dogs recently released from puppy mills. These dogs are flight risks so safety is always my first concern with any dog in my care. I use the two leash protocol when walking dogs. I will only board dogs when i do not have a foster dog.

About: I have raised and cared for my families dogs as well as my own personal pets since I was a child. From puppy days to senior life, I have experienced it all and have enjoyed every moment of it. For me, having dogs around is a must! I currently work 4 days a week at a brewery in Rochester. I am available for walks and check-ins Tuesday/Wed all day, Thursday-Friday 8am-11am. Sunday's are open and negotiable as well! I enjoy spending time outside (park, trails, yard) with the active dogs, and talked to/petting the lazy/sleepy ones while they lounge inside. I live close to some wonderful parks, and enjoy throwing a ball around or just taking a stroll.

About: Our pets are family, and it can be scary sometimes when you don't know who is caring for them while you're gone. Under my care, I treat every fur baby like they were my fur baby. I grew up living with dogs, a Bichon Frise and a Pit Bull, which taught me how to communicate and care for dogs of all sizes and dogs breeds with separation anxiety. I'm pretty active and am currently training for the NYC 2022 Marathon, so I love to run/walk with my dog Casper. About a year ago, Casper and I moved in with my partner Victor and his 2 cats, Jewel & Scarlett, in Rushville, New York. Initially, we were nervous about introducing them so we started slow by keeping them in separate rooms with a gate. Once they became more comfortable and curious about each other (more on the cats end), we took the gate down after a couple days. It was a seamless living transition if there ever was one. Now all 3 love hanging out on the play mat together with their toys or taking naps nearby each other. We're looking for more furry friends to keep them company and to nap together! Our house is quite spacious with a large open living and family room for lots of play time and nap time. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for dogs and cats. Our house has a huge front & backyard (not fenced) to run around on leash. When it snows, we love making dog trails around our property because what dog doesn't love to run in the snow! And I'm very experienced in putting on dog boots if needed. Lastly, we are a 15-20 minute walk to Canandaigua Lake, and live 3 minutes from Bare Hill. Currently, Victor and I are started a small business that will be launching this Spring. We work from home Monday-Friday and make our own hours so we are flexible. And I'm available on the weekends and any last minute bookings. Before any booking, I would like to set up a Meet & Greet to learn what I need to best care for your fur baby(ies) and to make sure Casper and your dog(s) get along (Doggy Day Care). The dates I'm currently unavailable are July 8-24, 2022 and Sept 1-5, 2022. My Home: spacious living and family rooms for dogs to run around, a play mat area with toys, and plenty of space to bring your dog's bed so he/she feels comfortable and at home. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for both dogs and cats. Outside, we have a huge front and backyard, although it is not fenced, still a lot of space to run around on leash. And if your dog loves to run, he/she is welcomed to join our running pack. We're a 15-20 min walk to Canandaigua Lake, and a 3 minute drive to Bare Hill Unique Area. Your Home: I will request a Meet & Greet before booking, and would like to do an initial house visit to learn where the pet food, toys and cleaning supplies are located. Along with learning if your pet has any special needs like medication. I will be a respectful guest in your home and make sure your fur baby(ies) are loved and cared for while you are away.

About: Growing up I always had a family dog. More recently, I have taken care of many friends and family member's dogs over the years. Now I wanted to take that further and help out more people when they need their fur babies taken care of. I am a teacher so availability changes based on the season, but if I am able to help, I will! I am a teacher, so during the summer, I am off of work besides a few days I pick up shifts for school. During the school year, my schedule will obviously change but currently have a good amount of availability. I do have a fenced in back yard which is very helpful for pets. For going to a clients house I do want to make sure that the area is safe. The dog is on a leash before going outside and knowing the kind of dog and the dog's needs.

About: I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my family and I also spent a lot of time cat sitting for friends and family. My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. I work part time, only 3-5 hours a day at a shop a few minutes from my house. Other than work and quick errands from time to time I’m home full time otherwise! I have a huge backyard that is not fenced in, however your pet would have full on leash supervised access to the yard! I have an older cat who gets along very well with other animals.

About: I have a German Shepherd and walk him every night around Canandaigua. He loves adventures and it is quite clear that dogs love to travel. I love to make sure they are having fun and are being stimulated. Dogs are so smart. It is fun to interact and treat them like friends.
