Nicole was so communicative and attentive to my dog. She put her little booties on for walking on the hot pavement and wrote a very thorough narrative of her session

Jeffrey was a very dependable dog walker; walked and fed and watered our dogs on schedule; we would recommend him to others. We received text messages and photos for each of his 16 walks - twice a day for 8 days.

About: *Update: My Toby passed away and I haven’t deleted him from my profile. My heart is broken😢 Now that my children are gone and my Toby is, I want to use all my years of taking care of pets to fill a void. Believe me, your pet will get more than all my attention while at your home. I grew up in Southern California and I love to take my dogs on walking/hiking adventures. I will follow any instructions that you have. I know what it was like to leave my Toby, so I want you to feel as comfortable as possible. My phone is always next to me, so any photos or videos? Just ask! I actually should have been a dog photographer! I’m looking forward to meeting your family and giving both of you a memorable and lasting experience...hopefully over the years I would love to become part of your family! *Also, If you are in need of any extra duties, please let me know. I’m one stop shopping, I’m here to help! I look forward to meeting you! Martha I have plenty of time to give to your pup. I will stick to any schedule that you have and give as much exercise that they need or want need

About: I have over three years of hands‑on experience caring for animals through rescue work, fostering, and running my own small home‑based refuge. I’m also a Certified Veterinary Assistant, which means I’m trained in safe handling, medication administration, senior care, and recognizing early signs of stress or illness.I’ve cared for pets of all ages and needs — from confident, easygoing dogs to shy, anxious, reactive, or medically fragile animals. I’m extremely patient and calm, and I always tailor my approach to each pet’s personality. What sets me apart is the level of experience I bring from rescue work. I’m used to managing routines, enrichment, special diets, mobility support, and behavior quirks. I treat every pet like an individual and make sure they feel safe, understood, and comfortable.Whether your pet needs slow introductions, extra reassurance, structured walks, or a gentle, steady presence, I’m confident and experienced in providing the kind of care that helps them relax and enjoy their time with me. Pet care is already a built‑in part of my daily life. I run a small home‑based animal rescue and I’m a certified veterinary assistant, so caring for animals is part of my morning and evening routine every single day.I’m used to structured schedules, medication timing, feeding routines, enrichment, and making sure every animal gets the attention they need. Because I’m already out and about with my own dogs, adding walks or drop‑in visits fits naturally into my day.Whether it’s a morning walk, a midday check‑in, or an evening visit, I’m consistent, reliable, and always make sure pets feel safe and cared for. Safety is always my first priority. As a certified veterinary assistant and the founder of a small home‑based rescue, I’m very comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine exactly — feeding, medications, potty breaks, crate time, and any house rules you have in place. I always double‑check doors, gates, and locks, and I never take risks with safety. For walks, I use secure leashing, avoid unsafe areas, and pay close attention to body language and surroundings. I don’t allow off‑leash time unless it’s in a fully fenced yard with your permission. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, calm, and understood while keeping your home secure and respected. You can trust that I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I give to the animals in my rescue.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for multiple families over the past 8 years, providing reliable care through drop-in visits, walks, and overnight stays. I grew up with dogs of my own, gaining hands-on experience in everything from potty training puppies to caring for senior dogs. I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs and always strive to make pets feel safe, loved, and at home while their owners are away. I’m currently finishing up grad school and have full availability for bookings throughout April. Starting in May, I’ll be available Friday evenings and weekends outside of my clinical hours. I honor each pet’s routine to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. In your home, I stick closely to their usual schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications. I make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away.

About: Love living in the area, I have always enjoyed spending time outside in all seasons. On any kind of day, I would love to give your family member a walk/run in the neighborhood or at a nearby park/path or whichever they prefer to get some fresh year and exploration through the smells/sights. For the playful pup, I love to run around and play with them until the sun goes down. I have experienced many years with easy and difficult dogs as being a pet owner myself, finding love and care for all creatures all life from dogs all the way to my 3-year-old goldfish. I can not wait to meet your furry family member and give them all the pets and love they fully deserve!

About: I've owned dogs my whole life and now I have cats too. I love all animals though whether I own them or not. If you want someone who is really good with animals, I'm your girl. I'm currently working part time so will have plenty of time to stop in and look after your pet. Just let me know what day and I will put you on my calender. I will be very careful entering your home making sure no pets are trying to escape. I am very conscience of my surrounding so your pets health and safety is my number one priority.

About: I have been around pets all my life. Volunteered as a foster mom for the humane society and took home pets that needed medication given to them. Been around active dogs like Dalmatians and Australian Shepherds as well as older, docile dogs. Did puppy training classes when I raised my Australian shepherd. I work full time so if you request a booking with me I may send you back a message with the hours I work during that time frame. I've also lowered my rates below Rovers "suggested" numbers and made it to where you can "potentially" book me last minute (If my schedule works for you, obviously). I would love to be that sitter that is helping out someone who maybe had a sitter cancel at the last minute or you had an unexpected event happen and didn't really have it in the budget to hire a pet sitter on top of everything else. Or you are just a frugal gal/guy like me and don't think it should break the bank to hire someone to watch your fur children 😊 I can crate your pets when needed, take them on walks, can administer medications if needed. I work well with lists or rules set out to follow for your pets best care in your home.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, & love caring for them! I grew up with dogs (golden retriever, beagle, german shepard), gerbils, bunnies, a bearded dragon, fish, and currently have 2 cats + a senior german shepard. I have pet sat for family & friends since I was a teenager + been on Rover for about 3 years, and also have job experience as a vet tech, kennel worker, & volunteer at an animal shelter. I’m open to all breeds and sizes, and even pets outside of dogs and cats if needed. I look forward to meeting you & your fur babies! I am an artist, yoga teacher, and nanny for work! I have availability on week day evenings and most weekends - I also am usually in town for most holidays and available! I’m very attentive and caring with your pets, in the same way I’d wish for someone to care for mine. I love playing with them and taking walks, easing their separation anxiety, and I prioritize their safety, comfort, and fun!

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Springdale. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. • 98% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
