“She was wonderful with Spike! It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was being so well cared for while we were away. Her 3-year-old absolutely loved him, which was one of the sweetest parts of the whole experience. Spike was a little shy about eating at first, so she actually hand-fed him his breakfast until he felt comfortable enough to eat. That told me everything I needed to know about how loved and cared for he was while we were gone. Spike came home happy and clearly very comfortable with his stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be reaching out to her again the next time we need someone to keep him. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and couldn’t imagine it any other way. My cat Chanel has been with me for 5 years and my cocker spaniel Bentley for 1 year. I’ll treat your pets like my own with plenty of walks, cuddles, and love. I know how important it is to feel at ease when you’re away from your fur babies and I’ll make sure they’re happy and cared for. I have a flexible schedule and am able to go home throughout the day and check on your pet if I’m not already home. I am usually home all weekend and if not then your pet is welcome to join my activities! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a pet‑friendly apartment community with three dog parks, giving plenty of safe space to run and play. I’ll always keep a close eye on them, provide fresh water, and make sure they feel happy, loved, and cared for in a secure environment.

“Jade, did a phenominal job watching my three babies (cats). I had a last minute travel issue come up, and I needed to find someone to care for my three cats while I was gone. I had to book last minute, and did not have time to do a meet and greet. This was my first time using Rover, and I selected Jade based on her excellent reviews. My cats are my babies, and I have hired friends and neighbors in the past to care for them when we were gone, only to be frustrated upon return to see that the little I asked them to do, was done very poorly. Due to the last minute booking I was only able to communicate with Jade via messages, but she immediately reassured me that she would make sure our babies were well taken care of. We are in the process of selling our home, so I needed someone who would provide loving care to our cats as well as making sure they didn't track in dirt, and kept things as clean as possible when stopping to care for the cats. Jade went above and beyond, and I cannot thank her enough. My cats are terrified of anyone outside of our family, and because we have realtors showing our home right now, there are a lot of new people coming in and out, which is causing a lot of anxiety to the cats. I asked Jade to ring the doorbell and wait 30 seconds to allow the cats to get to their safe place and hide, to help keep their anxiety down. She did this everytime without hesitation. She made sure the litter boxes were clean, as well as the area around the boxes, which was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately we are moving out of state and I will not be able to use Jade's services in the future. However, if you are seeking someone to care for your animals in a loving way, and a way you would care for your animals...I would highly recommend hiring Jade. Thank you Jade for the love and care you provided to our babies while we were away. We appreciate it more than you could possibly know.”

About: Hi! My name is Lyndsey, and I’ve been working professionally with dogs since 2017 as a full-time dog groomer. About: I’ve been dog sitting for about 4 years and have experience caring for pets with special medical needs. My own dog has separation anxiety, depression, and receives injections at home, so I’m comfortable with extra care and medication. I’ve also cared for my cousin’s dog with epilepsy, including administering medication and staying calm during seizures. I love getting to know every pet’s unique personality and treat each one like they’re my own. I’m a student at the University of South Carolina with a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time to care for your pets. About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life, I’ve grown up with just about every type of animal from small to large, I’ve worked at dog rehabilitation centers, I’ve been a dog groomer for over 12 years (still grooming out of my home) I’ve worked as a vet tech in multiple veterinary clinics as well. I’m a professional groomer that works from home, my kiddos do home school, so my daily routine is usually about the same lol I groom just about every day, and also occasionally board for my long term clients With me working from home and having my kiddos home, I would absolutely prefer your pet to be dropped off and picked up, your pet will have the opportunity to play with my personal dogs, get to go outside plenty of times and also have that human interaction as well rather then being in a kennel/run for hours on end before getting let out to go potty.
