About: As someone who personally has an animal with special needs I understand the kind of care they need! I also have experience working with animals of all ages. Along with working with animals of all ages I have both volunteered and worked at a local Humane Society. Working there entailed feeding, cleaning, and providing medical care to both cats and dogs. As a student, I am between campus and my house frequently throughout the day. With an older cat I frequently drop by my house throughout the day to check on him. Because of this I would be able to provide the same care to your animals as well. I live in a quiet neighborhood near several large parks. Because of this I will be able to not only walk dogs in my neighborhood but take them to surrounding parks to walk and play! Along with taking dogs out my home is equipped with cat friendly furniture, scratchers and enrichment.
About: I’ve been caring for pets since high school and bring decades of hands‑on experience with cats and dogs of all sizes. I’ve cared for puppies/kittens, seniors, given diabetes shots, changed diapers, and handled everything from Sheepdogs to Chihuahuas. I have two small, friendly dogs, a senior cat, and a fully fenced backyard. If your pet is dog‑and cat‑friendly, I’m happy to host them short‑ or long‑term. I truly love animals of all kinds. I am happy to come over and check on your baby, take them for a walk (or stroll), throw a ball or play light flashing, or even daycare for them at my home. I work from home all but two days a week and can modify that as needed. My job is flexible so I am able to take breaks and work my around your schedule. I have a fenced in yard and am able to care for your baby as needed. My job is flexible so I am able to take breaks and work my around your schedule.
“Ty did great with our pups!! We have one sassy but sweet schnauzer and a shy cuddle bug of an aussie and he did great with both of them! We came home to a clean house and he watched the dogs closely, sending us updates and keeping in great communication as the weekend went along. We will definitely be booking with Ty again!”

About: I used to have a successful pet-sitting business where dogs could stay at my house overnight, instead of being stuck in overnight kennels. I had regular clients, but had to end it because I was in high school and doing other extracurricular activities. I've had dogs since I was a small child. They are my family and I would do anything for them. Knowing how much my dogs mean to me, I will treat other's dogs like I would my own. My schedule is very flexible and I have reliable transportation. I think it's very important to make sure dogs are comfortable, happy, and given the care each individual dog requires. Having the opportunity to work with dogs would be something I would love to do- it wouldn't feel like work.

“Tressa did a great job watching Coco while we were away for a week - we returned to a happy, healthy Coco and a tidy home. Coco got lots of walks and training, plus lots of outdoor time to relax. We loved getting the check ins to see how Coco was doing”

I have two dogs 1 older lab 10 and mixed brindle pitbull that is 5. They are my heart and joy, incredibly blessed to have them and the opportunity to love them! About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was little and have years of experience helping friends, family, and neighbors with their pets. I’m reliable, responsible, and truly love animals. I treat every dog like family and have great references from people who trust me with their pets. I’m currently in cosmetology school and also work a part-time job Tuesday through Saturday, usually until around 5 PM. Even with my schedule, I always make time to give pets the attention, care, and love they deserve. I’m dependable, organized, and committed to making sure your fur baby feels safe! I have a fenced-in backyard and love going on walks with my fur babies! I’ll make sure your fur baby feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re with me.
“⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ( We’d give 5,000 if we could!) This was our first time using Rover, and we were nervous because our 2-year-old mini schnauzer, Sophie, is truly part of our family. But Suzy was amazing. She stayed in our home, played with Sophie, snuggled her, and took her on walks in the snow and rain. It rained so much that she even bought Sophie a little rain hat and jacket! She also sent us tons of photos and regular updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Suzy truly went above and beyond. We’d book her again in a heartbeat and cannot recommend her enough….Suzy is an absolute gem.”

About: I have four different dogs of my own of all sizes. From a Great Pyrenees to a mini Border Collie, I have raised all of them since they were puppies. I also help take care of a Golden Retriever that is learning how to live with one eye. When I take care of dogs I make sure to interact with them as much as possible and not just sit and watch them. I am currently attending school at Webber International University. I also play baseball for the school team. I have a pretty light class schedule that leaves parts of my day with plenty of open time as well as my nights being completely free. I would love to spend this time taking care of your dogs! I care for pets by making sure that they stay active and entertained. If a dog has specific needs I have no problem at all catering to those needs to keep the dog comfortable.
About: I have had experience caring for pets my entire life, including dogs, cats, fish, rats, and guinea pigs. I am comfortable with the day-to-day care and routines that come with looking after different types of pets. Former IT professional turned stay at home dad. Full time availability give or take a few odd hours here and there. Happy to provide pet services of any kind of Forested property - so barks aren’t an issue. I have a fenced in yard as well as crates that could be used as needed as well as plenty of rooms so everyone can have their own space.
“Larissa was amazing with our girls a 40 lbs husky mix and an 80lb black lab for 8 days. Larissa stayed at our house with the girls and the house was just as clean or cleaner than when we left. Larissa sent pictures and videos daily and the girls seems to love staying with her. We definitely looking forward to using Larissa’s service again in the near future”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Springdale
Reese was great! She came in and took care of our two dogs and cat for the whole weekend. She gave us plenty of updates and was amazing with communication. We were traveling abroad so it made the rest of the trip easy knowing that our pets were being cared for. The whole process was so smooth with Reese and I would highly recommend her!

Kiera does a great job! Just had her again for two days. Newly adopted pup and a German Shepherd puppy. We are a busy household and she did an outstanding job. Kiera stays in great contact with you when any issues of concern arise. I so appreciate the open communication as it makes travel easier when you have a great caretaker caring for your fur babies at home.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost of House Sitting in Springdale is $47 per night as of November 2026. Most bookings cost between $36 and $59 per night. On Rover, sitters set their own rates based on factors such as their experience, the length of care, the number of pets, and your pet’s specific needs. As long as your booking dates and pet profiles are accurate, the price shown before you confirm is the total, including any booking fee.
As of November 2026, there are 1,195 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Springdale. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Springdale walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Springdale maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Springdale choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
