Animals have been a big part of my life for many years. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, horses, birds, reptiles, and other farm animals. Having owned dogs ranging from 4 to 125 pounds, I’m comfortable with a wide variety of breeds, temperaments, and care needs. I can administer medications to most dogs and am happy to follow detailed instructions for feeding, exercise, and daily routines. I know how important consistency is for pets, and I work hard to care for them exactly as you would. I love taking photos and sending regular updates, so you’ll know your pet is happy, safe, and receiving plenty of attention while you’re away. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care and give you peace of mind.

I prefer to care for pets in their own environments, adhering closely to their regular routines and feeding. Keeping schedules structured minimizes stress for most animals. I understand the importance of a consistent diet, especially when owners are away.

Schedule
I have recently retired from full-time employment as a teacher. I spend my free time with the animals on my small personal farm and volunteering with Save the Horses Rescue.

- I like to know the pet's usual routine and preferences. I would also like specifics on any safety concerns in the immediate area where the pets walk/exercise. I don't like to take any chances with pets who might get off their leash. As a pet owner, I work hard to make sure my dogs don't escape or get lost.
