Arriving before our departure to make sure the handoff went well. Stayed until we got home to make sure the handoff and her departure went smoothly. Great communication during our away time. It is so nice to be able to get away and not worry about your fur babies. In addition to our two dogs, she also provided care for our two cats. About: I had three miniature dachshunds until they all eventually passed away from old age. I treated them as if they were children. I am very in tune with an animal’s needs and emotions. Animals that I have never met before, usually take to me right away. When I cared for my father-in-law’s dog for two weeks, he did not want to return home with him….lol. I hate to see any animal suffer or be in danger. I go as far to remove turtles from the road so that they do not get hit and I have tried to save numerous injured birds in the wild. Animals, especially, dogs, provide so much unconditional love. I am a retired law enforcement officer. Thus, I have a lot of availability. I am available Sunday-Saturday 24 hours as long as I am provided at least a short notice. I have a fenced in back yard that I always ensure is securely locked at all times. I would pet proof home ensure no medications or cleaning products, etc are accessible to pets. Also, I would only feed what the owner wanted the pet to be fed.
