About: I cureently work at a speciality vet hospital in the anesthesia department and am looking for more time spent on animal care! I work with dogs, cats, bunnies, snakes, and birds on the daily and love each species equally! About: I have had many dogs throughout my life. I was unbelievably sad when my last one died, so I am not ready for another pup just yet. So for now, yours will have to do! I like dogs of all shapes and sizes and have my own experience with complicated dog-life situations. My last one (a Bassett Hound named Mugsey) went through chemo for cancer, became diabetic and blind, aaaand deaf, aaand then developed urinary incontinence. I built him ramps for the couch and the bed. I gave him insulin injections for 2+ years. I fed him at psychotically specific times per day and with very precise amounts of food (ugh, diabetes). And I loved him just as much through those tough times as I did when he was healthy. I love all dogs more than most people and it would be great to take care of some again from time to time. Oh, and I made a trail that goes down to a river/creek from my backyard, and a big trail along the creek. Dogs love it, and so do I! I'll put up a big fence in the yard eventually, but for now... leash walks whenever the dog/dogs want to go! About: Rescue Dad. Foster Dad. A grown-up in a teenager's business. Big and athletic enough to handle the large pups, and gentle and caring enough to handle the old-timers. I've worked with rescues handling the worst abuse and fight cases, so I guarantee I can easily manage caring for any family pet. My earliest animal-care work dates back to the 80's, when I was full-time care-giver for 9 dogs, 7 cats, and 3 horses, all for one employer! Here in the Atlanta area, I helped run adoption events for FCAS, finding homes for 100's of dogs. In my own house, we've fostered over 20 dogs in the past 3 years, saving them from over-crowded shelters, and helping them find new lives. I know animals. I especially know dogs. And I love them.

About: Recent empty nester- let me love on your babies! I love both cats and dogs equally. Currently only offering 'in your home' house/dog sitting, drop-ins and walks. I work full-full time, M-F 7am-4:30pm. I enjoy running and also hiking the various mountains around the North Georgia area, but also love to curl up on the couch and watch TV for hours at a time. Whatever amount of activity your pet may need I am able to provide it. I have been a [people] nurse for 20+ years, giving me the confidence to take care of daily medication and/or exercises that may be needed for your pet. House sitting can be arranged for extended periods, but please note that I do work away from home 40+ hours a week M-F. Each pet has different needs and I try to quickly figure out how much attention and care they need to not feel sad that you are not home.

I really appreciate how she is flexible with scheduling too. She also met up with me before I started scheduling with her on a short notice. About: I’ve owned pets since I was born - dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, fish, and a hedgehog. And I’ve been dog sitting and caring for friends and families pets for as long as I can remember! My sweet 10-year-old retired greyhound recently crossed the rainbow bridge, but for over 7 years he was a big pet of my daily life - from feeding to walking to administering medication. I also own 2 sweet cats - a boy and a girl, both 2 years old. They are fed a specified amount twice a day, their nails trimmed regularly, and their litter box is scooped daily plus changed weekly. I am happy to stay with your pet overnight, drop in to play and supervise outdoor time, or walk them when needed! The more time with pets, the better!
