About: My partner (Chip) and I have completed over 5 pet-sits on the platform, Trusted Housesitters. We both grew up with dogs and live a very active lifestyle, so rest assured your dog (or cat) will get plenty of attention and exercise! My partner and I both work from home, so we have plenty of time and bandwidth to care for your pets! We can take for walks, potty breaks throughout the day, and give them plenty of attention while we are working on our laptops. We only have an apartment, so no fenced yard but have easy access to Cathedral Park, Pier Park, and Peninsula Park. We're also right across from Forest Park, so if your pet likes to hike, we can take them on a forest adventure!

About: Ive worked at a dog hotel for 8 plus years and have taken care of all different types of dogs. I get along with any dog I meet and I would love to help care for your baby regardless what stage in life they are at. I work at a dog hotel so I can make almost anything work. Just let me know the situation and we can work together :) I know how to do meds and have been doing them for years. I can handle elderly dogs/cats and younger. I can go on long walks or small walks depending on the dog.

About: I’ve had two dogs and currently have one cat. All of my pets are seniors and incredibly well loved. My best friends in the entire world! I’m currently unemployed as I am waiting for government clearance to start my job as a research assistant! I’m located in the Chicago suburbs so I’m able to provide care to suburbs and Chicago! About: Hello! I'm Lea, someone who loves and adores pets. Recent undergrad at Purdue who just relocated to Oregon. I live with a veterinarian in training, so I have constant hands on experience with my home life on how to take care of dogs. I am Cat and Dog CPR FIRST AID Certified! I've house sitted for many of dogs when I was younger, so I have much experience with dogs. I’ve also volunteered with the humane society many of times in my free time. I find it very important to care about dogs and give dogs love and attention when their owner can't at the moment. I'm willing to help in anyway with the dogs. I especially love walking and playing with dogs! My schedule is very flexible, so I am willing to work with anyone when needed. I also have a sweet, energized kitty that will keep your fur baby company! If your pet is uncomfortable around other pets, I have a pet gate and an extra bedroom to keep Sushi away. Otherwise if I am your house I will accommodate to any of your rules or needs.

About: I have experience with small dogs, big dogs, crazy cats and shy cats. I know each animal has a different way of life. I take into consideration all of their favors and sensitivities. I want each animal to feel loved and as comfortable as possible while they are away from their parents. I mostly have open availability. I usually only work at night for about five hours for about only three days a week. I have a pretty flexible schedule and if you contact me, we can work something out! I live in an apartment. I have a small backyard with no fence. I have a park nearby where I can walk dogs. I am also willing to come to the animals home and care for them there as well.

About: I lived and worked on my grandparents farm from a toddler to about 15/16 years old, taking care of horses, buffalo, cows, dogs and cats. My animals were my family. Although I have no more pets of my own, I am an auntie to 2 beautiful cats my best friend has. I work a lot, but I foresee myself having a farm again one day and raise my kids with the same life I had, full of fur babies. Until then, I will take care of your pets as they were my own. I am a server so my schedule is very flexible. I live downtown and am near lots of parks. I can change my schedule to accommodate usually, except at night. Evenings I am not available most nights from 4-10pm. When I used to stay with my grandparents and their dog Duke, he was trained to stand by the door when he had to go to the bathroom. We fed him twice a day, his water bowl was always always full, we spoiled him so he got cheese and hot dogs most days for treats. We went outside plenty because we lived on a ranch. We played fetch everyday as well. In a clients home, I tend to follow their eating instructions, keep the water bowl always full, only give the animal treats that are approved by the owner, exercise and of course give them the attention I’d give my own. As for others homes, I would listen to instructions, observe behaviors, treat the area with respect, tend to the animal and be present.

I also cared for my own senior dog for years, who lived to 15, which meant administering medications, moving at her pace, keeping routines gentle, and making sure she stayed comfortable and healthy in her senior years. About: I’ve had dogs, bunnies, and a cat as a pet myself and they were all happy, social, and mannered (minus the bunnies). I engage, communicate, and train effectively and appropriately. I am not currently working at this time and am hoping I make enough on Rover to provide for my lifestyle. I have one dog, Carole, that I care for in my home right now. It’s pretty tidy so there’s nothing that animals can get into, I don’t have a fenced in yard however, I do live in an environment with lots of land and a grass pasture to potty in. Carole and I like to go to dog parks, but respect that not all animals have that luxury for numerous reasons. Carole gets along with other animals and people, but finds her space if she is the only one who wants to play.
