“Breezey did an amazing job watching my two cats while I was out of town for ten days. She was communicative and gave great updates. I was a little anxious after experiences I had with pet sitters in the past, but I had absolutely no worries or issues this. ☺️”

About: Hi there! My name is Bonnie and I have been caring for animals since I was a child. I have experience with all kinds of animals from cats and dogs to horses and dairy goats. Currently, I share a home with two awesome cats named Dillon and Hammy, a dog named Jolene, and some chickens. I have veterinary experience as well. My veterinary career started in 2010 when I worked as a kennel attendant. I worked my way up to becoming a surgical technician before leaving the field to have a family. I can help with pets of all kinds including special needs. Contact me for availability today! I have a child, so my availability depends on childcare. I'll do my best to accommodate client schedules, but my little one takes priority in my life. I will care for animals in your home. For drop in visits, I can let pets out to potty, administer medication, and exercise/play with your pet. For walking, I can walk your leash trained pet in a safe neighborhood or take them to a nearby park.
“Kris is a good sitter. He comes on schedule, communicates well, and treats your home and pets with the care they deserve. He has stepped up for me on short notice, and always does a good job.”

“Sierra was responsive, friendly and arrived on time for each of 3 walks we booked. She took good care of our senior dog, sent pictures and was in good communication. Much appreciated!”

About: Nothing is more important than your furbaby’s safety and happiness! For dogs, I understand leash control, situational awareness, and the value of structured walks. I’m happy to follow your handling instructions so your pet’s routine stays consistent. I have completed clicker training along with foundation and advanced canine fitness courses. For cats, I know they need gentle, calm, and stress-free care. I have experience caring for cats with different personalities and am familiar with cat behavior and body language. I provide reliable drop-in visits that prioritize your cat’s comfort and individual needs. I have a lot of hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all temperaments. I read their body language well and know how to help them feel relaxed and at ease in new situations. I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available on weekends from 8am–4pm, and weekdays work too with at least one day’s notice. Tell me what times you’re looking for, and I’ll accommodate as much as possible. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and cat sitting services. Dogs get structured walks with time to sniff and light play. Cats receive interactive play, enrichment, and calm attention based on what they enjoy. I always follow the owner’s instructions and respect each pet’s comfort level. Feeding is included as part of your pet’s regular routine, and my focus is on keeping pets happy, comfortable, and stress-free.
About: I just recently moved to Oregon from Las Vegas. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, from high energy puppies to mellow seniors. I’m attentive, patient, and genuinely love spending time with pets whether we’re out on walks or hanging out at home. I’m big on clear communication, keeping routines consistent, and making sure your pet feels safe and cared for while you’re away. I’m new to Oregon and have full availability right now, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings. Happy to be flexible based on your dog or cat’s routine. Your pet’s comfort and safety come first. I take the time to understand their routine, personality, and boundaries so they feel secure and cared for. Whether it’s sticking to feeding schedules, giving meds, or creating a calm space, I do my best to keep things stress free. I know how important trust is when it comes to your pets, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and honest check-ins.
“Rachael was a really great sitter for my cat Tater Tot, always sent pictures after each stay so I could see how she was doing. Great communication and was super friendly as well. Definitely recommend her services!”

I also can do plant care as well I currently do doordash and art commissions from home so I have pretty open availability right now! I do have two cats at home so I still need to check in on them as well. I always make sure everything is tidy and that each pet gets equal amount of care. Set daily and weekly routines for them and always check over them to make sure there's nothing abnormal.

“Malissa was great! I felt very comfortable leaving Jack in her care while out of town. She sent a daily message and pictures. I will definitely book her again if I need someone to stay with Jack again while I’m out of town.”

About: I’ve had dogs, bunnies, and a cat as a pet myself and they were all happy, social, and mannered (minus the bunnies). I engage, communicate, and train effectively and appropriately. I am not currently working at this time and am hoping I make enough on Rover to provide for my lifestyle. I really want to remain at peace as an individual and that means-loving & nurturing your animals! It’s my number one job pick which should assure you there’s mutton else I’d rather be doing. I have one dog, Carole, that I care for in my home right now. It’s pretty tidy so there’s nothing that animals can get into, I don’t have a fenced in yard however, I do live in an environment with lots of land and a grass pasture to potty in. Carole and I like to go to dog parks, but respect that not all animals have that luxury for numerous reasons. Carole gets along with other animals and people, but finds her space if she is the only one who wants to play.
About: I have spent my whole life growing up with a wide variety of dogs and cats, and also rabbits, geckos, fish, shrimp and African dwarf frogs! Although I don’t have the resources to have a fur baby, I love and adore my aquarium and would love to care for your fur babies as well! i have a very flexible work schedule that allows me to crate my own hours, as well as work from home as much as needed. I also have the freedom of being able to come and go from my work as needed throughout the day I unfortunately do not have the space or the time to adopt and care for a pet of my own and how unfair that would be to the animal when I go back to work, but my aquarium is perfect for me! I have catfish, shrimp, and African dwarf frogs that I love and adore. I also provide very attentive and caring attention to any pets that I watch or interact with

As of October 2026, there are 2,783 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Deer Island. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
