About: My partner (Chip) and I have completed over 5 pet-sits on the platform, Trusted Housesitters. We both grew up with dogs and live a very active lifestyle, so rest assured your dog (or cat) will get plenty of attention and exercise! My partner and I both work from home, so we have plenty of time and bandwidth to care for your pets! We can take for walks, potty breaks throughout the day, and give them plenty of attention while we are working on our laptops. We only have an apartment, so no fenced yard but have easy access to Cathedral Park, Pier Park, and Peninsula Park. About: I used to work as a Vet assistant, so I am familiar with geriatric and medically fragile animals. I am willing to trim nails or give injections or Sub Que fluids or whatever your baby needs. I have a diabetic kitty and have a history of being a hospice house for aging kitties. I am familiar with the at home medical care of many different diseases. I also am trained in animal CPR and First Aid so can handle most emergencies quickly and calmly. I am familiar with reptiles and other exotics so feel free to pm me about that. I grew up on a cattle ranch and trained cattle dogs as well as horses. I also have an Anatolian mix who weighs over 100lbs (born Jan 22) and love to take her out to explore. Although I'm sure your dog would love to join us! I have the most experience with herding and guardian breeds, though I love all animals My life revolves around the animals I care for. I am usually up by 7am. I feed my animals as soon as I get up in the morning and then around 6pm at night. Since I work at home, or can travel anywhere( I make custom sized medical suits and accessories for animals that don't fit the standard size range or have some for of deformity to work around) the animals are usually in the same room I'm working all day. While I may have a few errands throughout the day my schedule is pretty flexible. I have a 4yr old Great Pyrenees Anatolian mix who loves to go with me everywhere. She is good with other dogs, cats, goats, chickens etc. She also immediately adopts any baby she finds, human, dog, cat, chicks..... If love to bring her with me but I do have someone to take care of her if you'd rather I don't bring her. I try to get an understanding of what the typical routine for your pet is and how you do things so that they are less stressed about changes. With my own dog I'm very big on routine and structure at home. I try to keep things predictable for my animals and schedule my life around their routines.

About: I’ve had two dogs and currently have one cat. All of my pets are seniors and incredibly well loved. My best friends in the entire world! I’m currently unemployed as I am waiting for government clearance to start my job as a research assistant! I’m located in the Chicago suburbs so I’m able to provide care to suburbs and Chicago! I’ll provide full attention to your pet and treat them as my own! I love spending time with pets in any setting such as outside or indoors. Pets are a member of a family and should be treated as such!
About: I have experience with house sitting both large and small dogs and making sure they get plenty of exercise and care. I also can do plant care as well I currently do doordash and art commissions from home so I have pretty open availability right now! I do have two cats at home so I still need to check in on them as well. I always make sure everything is tidy and that each pet gets equal amount of care. “Wow. Jade went above and beyond for my cat. I told Jade before she watched my cat, Sister, that I was nervous because she’s such an anxious cat and I didn’t want things to be too difficult. Fret not. I come home to see my cat out in the living room- basking in the sun, not a care in the world. She wasn’t hiding like she usually does when new people are around, no, she was purring and relaxed. When I went to pet Sister, I made a crazy discovery. Her nails? Trimmed. Her hair? Washed. Not only that, I had told Jade not to worry about the litter box since I wouldn’t be gone for long. And what did Jade do? She deep cleaned it. Deep cleaned my cat’s litter box just because. “We can't say enough good things about our experience working with Deborah! This was our first big trip since one of our cats went through some serious health scares this year, so we were anxious about leaving them for this extended trip. After meeting Deborah though, it became clear that she is such a thoughtful, caring cat sitter and that we'd have nothing to worry about. The cats were immediately at ease with her, and she was so committed to understanding our cats' specific needs (including giving meds, tracking weight, and working with our vet tech to administer subcutaneous fluids). During the trip she sent us regular detailed updates and made sure to ask questions whenever any of the directions we left were unclear. We loved receiving so many wonderful photos and videos of the cats playing with Deborah - it allowed us to fully enjoy our time with family seeing how much love and care our kitties were getting over the holidays (especially our one cat that is typically so shy with new people!). Returning home, it's as if we never left. The kitties were so relaxed (clearly having received so much love and attention from Deborah) and the home was neat and tidy. Our medically challenged boy somehow had more energy than before we left! Whether you have young or senior kitties, and whether you need drop-in visits or long-term care, we can't recommend Deborah enough. She is truly a cat whisperer, and we are so grateful we found her! About: I have spent my whole life growing up with a wide variety of dogs and cats, and also rabbits, geckos, fish, shrimp and African dwarf frogs! Although I don’t have the resources to have a fur baby, I love and adore my aquarium and would love to care for your fur babies as well! i have a very flexible work schedule that allows me to crate my own hours, as well as work from home as much as needed. I also have the freedom of being able to come and go from my work as needed throughout the day I unfortunately do not have the space or the time to adopt and care for a pet of my own and how unfair that would be to the animal when I go back to work, but my aquarium is perfect for me!
