About: I'm a mother and a veteran that loves animals! I grew up with dogs, lizards, horses, rabbits and a sugar glider. I have taken care of a lot of different animals growing up. Dogs, cats, birds, lizards, hamsters, ducks, donkey, rabbits, snakes, spiders, goats, horses, ducks, chickens, pigs, sugar gliders, ferrets, fish and even butterflies. I prefer to take care of pets in their homes to make it less stressful on them, but I can host smaller caged pets at my house. On a typical day I will show up to your house and greet your pet(s). Next I will feed them or take them for a walk or whatever is appropriate for that specific animal. Next I will clean up after them including cleaning out cages or fish tanks as needed. If they need to be bathed I can do that as well and before I leave I would make sure that they were completely taken care of. I currently can't have dogs or cats stay overnight, but hopefully that changes soon. As mentioned above I am a mother, if it was ok with the owners my 2 boys might tag along on walks or occasional house visits. If that isn't ok I completely understand as well. I really look forward to taking care of your pets and hopefully making your life easier! I work full-time during the week, but I can stop in on animals in the morning before work, on my lunch break and after work. Tuesdays I work from home, so very flexible. Weekends my schedule is typically open with the exception of a soccer game on Saturdays, but I'm able to spend more time caring for animals. In your home I will follow whatever guidelines given to me to keep your animals safe. I will make sure that before I leave there is nothing they can get into, they can’t escape and are fed.

About: I've had pets my whole life so going 50+ years. After having some bad experiences from other dog sitters, my son and I decided we could do it better. We know that our 4 dogs are our life and their well being is our top priority. I am retired so I have plenty of time to dedicate to taking care of your precious family. There should never be any worries when you leave your pet with someone. I worked in a vet hospital when I was younger and assisted in bathing, walking, feeding animals that were well behaved and not so well behaved. Our goal is to make your life easier knowing that your fur babies are well taken care of. We hope you'll try us out. I have a lot of availability to come and care for your pets. I am available for drop in visits as well as overnight care. We are available to come to your home for visits as well as stay at your place and provide home care. We can provide care at our home but the animal must be ok with other dogs & cats.

About: I was born into a family of German Shepherd lovers, and grew up primarily taking care of our German Shepherds until about 10 years old when we also adopted cats and labradors. Once I graduated college, I adopted an 8 week old Alaskan malamute, who I cared for his entire 11 years of life until he passed just recently in January. I am not ready to adopt again, but am missing the presence of dogs in my life and looking to fill that space by helping friends, family, neighbors and members of the community with their dog care needs. I am experienced with puppies, high maintenance animals, and especially with large breeds (my boy was 150lbs at a healthy weight and required at least 5 miles of exercise a day). I am kind, caring, uniquely experienced, energetic and reliable. Due to my experience, I know all too well what it feels like to have to find reliable, safe, trusted care for a large, high maintenance, and/or misunderstood breed - I know that I can definitely offer that unique service in this arena. I currently am taking a break from my career as an executive assistant. I am extremely active during the week, and have plenty of free time in general. I am respectful to how you’d like your dog to be taken care of in your home and out and about. No matter what the need, I am able to discuss, negotiate and accommodate. Though all are welcome - due to my experience, my niche has become working with and caring for large, high maintenance, and/or misunderstood breeds.

About: I have been taking care of family pets all of my life, but I haven't had experience officially pet sitting. I love animals and helping take care of them, which is why I signed up for Rover, so that I could gain experience and spread that love to other pets. I am also a college student at the University of Oregon, and I recently got back from a study abroad trip and am looking to earn a little extra money this summer. I have a dog at home named Buddy who is a Golden Labradoodle, and he is my world. I would say I am the primary caregiver for Buddy in my family, as I am the first person to feed him, take him on potty breaks and walks, give him treats, bathing him, etc. Thus, pet care fits naturally in my daily routine. I care for my dog by making sure he has food and water, taking him on walks, showing him love and giving him treats, bathing him every two weeks, and also going on adventures to the dog park so that he can socialize with other dogs. While I haven't officially pet sit as a job, I have pet sit for family members and family friends many times, and have done a great job.
