About: I've had pets my whole life so going 50+ years. After having some bad experiences from other dog sitters, my son and I decided we could do it better. We know that our 4 dogs are our life and their well being is our top priority. I am retired so I have plenty of time to dedicate to taking care of your precious family. About: I haven't cared for other people's cats but I have taken in a stray that had been abandoned. I've taken care of feral cats as well finding good homes and keeping them fixed so they don't over populate trailer park I was living in at time. In one 24 hour period I caught a spicy feral kitten and was able to gain enough trust that the person that adopted him just adored him. He's been an angel for her ever since. I hope to help many more cats and kittens in the future. No kitty left behind.
About: I love dogs and I can handle any size: big or small or anywhere in between. I went through a dog obedience training with my dog who was a fox terrier. As well as took the Rover training course and I think I did very well on it. I can do long walks and short walks, in the city or in the country, morning or evening on most days. I did have to pick up a full time job, so I'm available weekends, with weekdays on a as needed basis. So I'll need all information before booking. I've always enjoy working with and watching animals. My home is currently not an environment that I'm comfortable bringing your pet into. I have roommates and not a completely fenced yard. “I got on Rover purely to give Shell this review. Haha. Imagine the value in a scenario where you call up your mom and say you have to work late, and ask if she’d drive across town to pick your kid up from school and take care of them for a few hours until you’re free. She doesn’t think twice and your mind is completely at ease knowing your kiddo is in good hands. I don’t know what it’s like to have kids, but Shell has been more than a dog-sitter. She has been that third, auxiliary parent to my puppy when I’ve needed her! Even to the extent that she drove across town on a Thursday morning on zero notice to pick him up as I scrambled through an offsite work meeting. Also… Our pup was only 7 months old and we left him for a week with Shell, cold turkey. He had never stayed with anyone before; risky, I know. She sent pictures and videos every day of his playtime with friends, yummy meal toppers, and when we picked him up, he was as happy as a clam. It has been an immense relief knowing that, whenever we need a break, we can drop Winchester off and he is in great hands. We love our fluffy furball, but being able to drop him off and completely forget about him for a while is pure bliss sometimes. ? I don’t really know what else to say other than that I have complete and unwavering faith in Shell’s ability and good intention when it comes to caring for my little guy. I highly recommend bringing your pup to her… but hurry, she fills up fast!!”

Special food needs, sleeping arrangements, play needs, daily check ins and lots of exercise were all provided with care.
