About: It is important to me that your dog's individual needs and routines are met while in my care. I do my very best to meet their feeding, sleeping, and other environmental needs and preferances while they are here. I also want to honor rules and commands followed in your household. It's important to be consistent with training wherever you are. I can give lots of potty breaks and outside time during the day as I'm home a lot. I have 2 school-aged children and a toddler. Besides school drop off and pick ups, my day typically is spent at home which means I. can give dogs plenty of potty breaks and outside time. I will typically care for up to 2 dogs at one time for both boarding and doggy day care. We have a 6 year old indoor cat and 2 dogs. Our dogs are 6 year old Lab Lucy (f) and 7 year old corgi Beau (m). When the dogs are outside, they are supervised at all times and if needed, are tethered to a 50ft long lead so that they can freely explore without getting too far. In the house, I have a designated dog room where I keep food/water and kennels for those who use one. This way they can get outside to go potty whenever they need and when I may not be around. I don't like leaving my own pets longer than a few hours so I don't intend to do the same with yours!

About: I’ve taken care of dog’s, horses, cats, chinchilla’s, for many years! Friends, family, and neighbors have all relied on me to walk, feed, play, and bathe their animals!! I’m currently working 4 days a week I work during the night so I have plenty of time to time play with you’re pup or kitten! I keep the pets in their home other than walks so they stay comfortable and don’t get anxious being away from their area maintaining their cleanliness and comfortability is my priority!

My standard house sitting schedule does not include overnight stays, but I occasionally make exceptions on a case by case basis when the circumstances are a good fit. I’ll discuss this with you during the meet & greet and consider factors such as your pets’ needs and schedule, the distance from my home, and my family’s schedule at the time of the booking. If I’m not staying overnight, I’ll typically spend the day with your pets and head home around 9:30–10 PM, returning around 7 AM the following morning. I’m happy to spend as much time as needed during the day to provide plenty of quality time, attention, and care while you’re away, and I’ll work with you to create a routine that keeps your pets comfortable and your home well cared for!

“We can't say enough good things about our experience working with Deborah! This was our first big trip since one of our cats went through some serious health scares this year, so we were anxious about leaving them for this extended trip. After meeting Deborah though, it became clear that she is such a thoughtful, caring cat sitter and that we'd have nothing to worry about. The cats were immediately at ease with her, and she was so committed to understanding our cats' specific needs (including giving meds, tracking weight, and working with our vet tech to administer subcutaneous fluids). During the trip she sent us regular detailed updates and made sure to ask questions whenever any of the directions we left were unclear.
