About: Gentle loving care for all creatures, great... and not so great. Sometimes we just need a little extra kindness to blossom. I have been taking care of cats and dogs since I was 10 years old and every encounter has been an opportunity to make a new friend. Everyone thinks they have the best pet and everyone is right. I am currently working part time with flexible hours. I walk every day and love to have canine company. Spending time with animals brings me just as much joy as it provides for them. Getting through the day is stressful enough. Worrying about your pet while you are away should not be. I recognize that pet personalities are all unique. I will work with you to develop an individualized care plan for your pet’s needs.

About: I’ve taken care of dog’s, horses, cats, chinchilla’s, for many years! Friends, family, and neighbors have all relied on me to walk, feed, play, and bathe their animals!! I’m currently working 4 days a week I work during the night so I have plenty of time to time play with you’re pup or kitten! I keep the pets in their home other than walks so they stay comfortable and don’t get anxious being away from their area maintaining their cleanliness and comfortability is my priority!

About: I have grown up with both dogs and cats ever since I was very little and I have always loved taking care of them. I live at home with my parents and I have lots of experience watching our two dogs and cat for weeks at a time while they are traveling. (Note: neither my parents, or pets will be anywhere near your pets, as they are going to be in a separate part of the house. The house also has a huge backyard, sitting on over an acre with tall fences. I also keep plenty of toys on hand so you can be sure your pets are getting the love and care they deserve. I currently work from home and have a very flexible. schedule all throughout the weekdays and weekends so your pets will be cared for during their entire stay. I also do not leave our own pets unattended for more than a couple hours so the same can be expected for yours as well. Pets can expect over an acre of enclosed backyard, so plenty of room to run around and play as needed. Bathroom breaks will be given at least once every 1.5 hours - 2 hours and will be supervised the entire time as is standard with our own pups. We also have a cat and two small dogs in the house, but they will be upstairs and away from your pets during the visit.
“Wilcox was on time, very communicative, and super loving and patient with my pup! He’s a rescue and sometimes needs extra loving care, and he got it. I also got cool little photo updates. I’d definitely recommend Wilcox.”

About: Hi, I’m Kelley! I’m a professional dog trainer with over 10 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes. My journey started early. I began working at a veterinary office at just 15 years old as a kennel technician and assistant, where I built a strong foundation in animal care and behavior. From there, I expanded into training and spent 5 years in Hawaii working as a private contracted dog trainer, gaining extensive experience with a wide range of dogs and client needs. I mainly train basic to advanced obedience and service dog training but also have experience with training hunting/bird dogs and protection work. In 2020, I founded my own dog training business in Oregon, where I now provide customized, results-driven training programs. I work with dogs weekly through private sessions, as well as structured board-and-train programs. I also travel locally and to surrounding areas to support clients and ensure training carries over into real-life environments. I recently moved up to the WA side in Kalama. My property is fully set up with dogs in mind. I have a secure, fully fenced yard and dedicated training areas equipped with a wide variety of professional training tools. Dogs in my care receive structured training, enrichment, and appropriate socialization based on their individual temperament, goals, and needs. Whether your dog needs basic obedience, behavior modification, or a safe and structured place to stay while you’re away, I provide a reliable, experienced, and attentive approach to their care. I treat every dog like my own, focusing on building confidence, clear communication, and lasting results. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine since I run my dog training business full-time. My days are structured around the dogs in my care, including scheduled training sessions, exercise, enrichment, and rest time. Each dog follows a consistent routine that’s tailored to their individual needs-this can include structured walks, obedience training, socialization (when appropriate), and downtime to ensure they’re not overstimulated. Because I work from home and on my property, I’m able to provide constant supervision and hands-on care throughout the day. On a weekly basis, I rotate between private training sessions, board-and-train dogs, and client visits, so I’m always actively working with dogs in a structured and intentional way. This setup allows me to give each dog consistent attention, routine, and progress while they’re in my care. Care varies depending on the service, but all pets receive structured, attentive, and individualized care. In my home, dogs follow a consistent daily routine that includes exercise, training, enrichment, and rest. Because of my background as a professional trainer, I incorporate structure and clear communication into everything I do—whether that’s reinforcing good manners, working on specific training goals, or simply maintaining a calm, balanced environment. Dogs have access to a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and are always supervised. Socialization is thoughtfully managed based on each dog’s temperament and comfort level. For board-and-train dogs, their stay includes daily hands-on training sessions tailored to their specific goals, along with structured routines that help build reliability and confidence. In clients’ homes, I aim to keep pets as close to their normal routine as possible to reduce stress. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications if needed, and any household rules the dog is used to. I also reinforce any training the owner is working on to maintain consistency. Across all services, my priority is safety, clear communication, and making sure each dog feels secure, understood, and well cared for.
About: I grew up on 5 acres with lots of animals, from dogs to cats, chickens, and even rabbits. 6 years ago, I got my first puppy and now have a lifelong best friend. I'm familiar with simple care routines, as well as advanced care, including complex feeding routines and even insulin shots. I'm currently between jobs, and so I have a very flexible schedule that I can pivot to your needs. I'm excited to provide exactly what you need. I'm excited to provide careful attention and affection to your pets. I'm comfortable with a variety of pet personalities and needs. Specialized care is no problem!
About: I have been dog sitting since I was 12, with even more care for other pets at home. I have had a pet of some sort all my life, ranging from reptiles to dogs to cats. I am currently working at a Day Care Full Time Mon-Fri and am always looking for a refreshing furry friend to play with after the day is done. I am comfortable with any size dog and have even worked with dogs who have anxiety about being with someone other than their owners. I personally have 4 cats that I take care of with my roommate.
About: **please note I am located in Winlock, WA. Rover is working on updating my information** Hello, My name is Kim! I have been pet sitting on and off for 18 years, and I've had dogs/cats and trained dogs for over 14 years now. I'vw been a veterinary technician and emergency veterinary technician for over 12 years. I currently work part time at SCVSEC. I am fear free certified. I have extensive experience caring for dogs with special needs, medical needs, senior dogs, and dogs that are on hospice care. I also have 10+ years experience in training dogs, from competitive obedience and agility, to service dogs, to working with fear aggressive dogs. I particularly love puppy development and training. I use positive reinforcement and have experience in clicker training, but I can cater to any training needs. I do offer bathing/grooming in my home for those that stay with us. I have experience in grooming and competitive conformation. I am only available for day care and boarding at my house, and I would love to schedule a meet and greet to see if we're a good match. We have a fully fenced yard. Our home houses 3 very socialized dogs, 2 dog friendly cats, 9 chickens (they have their own yard), and a chinchilla. Requirements: your pet MUST be up to date on age appropriate vaccines (DHPP, Lepto, Rabies). I do strongly recommend Bordetella and Influenza as well, due to recent outbreaks. Your pet must be crate trained, as I do not leave pets loose when I leave the house for safety reasons. For puppies, I will gladly work on their crate training. Pets are supervised 24/7, I have 2 cameras in the pet area for when I have to leave the house. I love to cater to the individual, so please tell me about your pet so I can make sure they have the best and most enjoyable stay! **For all overnight house sitting requests, due to circumstances I need to bring my 1 dog with me. He is well socialized with dogs and a polite house guest. I have lived in a dog daycare/boarding situation, so I am very used to keeping dogs separate and I am more than happy to keep him separate and he would stay in a crate. If you have any questions about this or about him, please feel free to ask! Normally I wouldn’t bring my personal dog, but due to several reasons we are a package deal.** I am home almost 24/7, aside from an occasional appointment, so my day revolves solely around caring for any and all animals. I have a very flexible routine, so I can cater specifically to clients needs and time frames. I treat every pet like they are our own and give them endless attention (I might spoil them a bit). I pay a lot of attention to instructions and I’m not afraid to ask questions. Making sure your pet is happy and comfortable while you are gone and giving exceptional care is my priority.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
