I like rover because it’s an easy side hustle and I love dogs AND cats I have work in clatskanie from 7-5:30 M-F and on Saturday I work 7-3. I can be available before and after those times. About: I have grown up with both dogs and cats ever since I was very little and I have always loved taking care of them. I live at home with my parents and I have lots of experience watching our two dogs and cat for weeks at a time while they are traveling. (Note: neither my parents, or pets will be anywhere near your pets, as they are going to be in a separate part of the house. The house also has a huge backyard, sitting on over an acre with tall fences. I also keep plenty of toys on hand so you can be sure your pets are getting the love and care they deserve. I currently work from home and have a very flexible. schedule all throughout the weekdays and weekends so your pets will be cared for during their entire stay. I also do not leave our own pets unattended for more than a couple hours so the same can be expected for yours as well. Pets can expect over an acre of enclosed backyard, so plenty of room to run around and play as needed. Bathroom breaks will be given at least once every 1.5 hours - 2 hours and will be supervised the entire time as is standard with our own pups. We also have a cat and two small dogs in the house, but they will be upstairs and away from your pets during the visit.

Our dogs are 6 year old Lab Lucy (f) and 7 year old corgi Beau (m). When the dogs are outside, they are supervised at all times and if needed, are tethered to a 50ft long lead so that they can freely explore without getting too far. In the house, I have a designated dog room where I keep food/water and kennels for those who use one. This way they can get outside to go potty whenever they need and when I may not be around. I don't like leaving my own pets longer than a few hours so I don't intend to do the same with yours!

I know how stressful it can be if you need to go out of town and still have a puppy at home that needs a little more attention, let me help you with this! I don’t currently live at home with my pets so I don’t get to see them as often as I would like because I’m in school. My dogs live with my parents and we have a fenced in yard and a space in our house just for the dogs. I live by myself though if your dog isn’t comfortable around other animals!
