About: I know how scary it is to entrust others with your pets, especially if you are like me and have an anxious/reactive pet. I volunteer with a local shelter, and they've taught me so much when it comes to minimizing stress in animals as much as possible. I will treat your pets like I treat my own, with a focus on comfort, reducing stress, and respecting boundaries in what your pet might find to be a new or scary situation. I currently work from home with a flexible schedule, so any time not spent with my own pets or volunteering at the animal shelter I can dedicate to caring for your pet! I have a fenced yard, dog crates, and even a dedicated "pet room" in my home. I also like to use the vertical space for my cats and give them lots of shelving and perches for them to climb and view the windows.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long I can remember! Whether that be friends, family, or a stray I’ve always treated them as my own. My two pups are my everything and I understand the stress of leaving your pets with a stranger, so if you have any questions for me I’d be more than happy to answer! ❤️ I’m currently working part time normally during the weekends as a with shifts no longer than 8hrs so I’ll have plenty of time and wiggle room for your babies. About: I’ve had pets my entire life. My family had a two high energy dogs growing up and even from a young age I would enjoy caring for the two of them. After they passed, I volunteered at my local humane society, working mainly with dogs. When I was about 17, I convinced my family to adopt a puppy. I taught him basic commands, potty training, and basic leash skills. I currently own a cat who is equal parts sweetheart and menace. Being tasked with raising a kitten turned out to have a massive learning curve, but he is absolutely spoiled with playtime, toys, and treats. He is currently being leash trained and we’re working on anxiety associated with his crate. I am extremely flexible since I am in a hybrid program for classes, so all of my didactic/classroom work is fully online and accessible from anywhere and anytime! I do work Friday mornings from 8am-12pm and may not be available some weekends since I work every third weekend minimum. Otherwise, I’m completely flexible and will always try to work with you! I care for all pets with love and respect. The main goal is to establish trust with new pets by allowing them to approach me with interest on their own terms, even if it takes a while. Providing pets with playtime and attention is a priority after their daily basic needs are met. I believe in gentle correction or making an activity more interesting with treats or a favorite toy when a pet is acting up or disinterested.

About: I looked after a friend’s dog for a few days while they were on vacation. I fed him, took him for walks, and made sure he was happy. I love spending time with dogs. I have been around dogs since I was a little girl. I lived with my grandparents and always took their dogs for walks or to the park. I am very comfortable with all kinds of dogs. I am a college student with a light schedule. I’m free all day on Fridays! On Mondays and Wednesdays, I’m free before 10:30 AM and after 1:30 PM. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I’m free before 12:00 PM and after 1:00 PM. I am very careful with pets. I will make sure your dog stays safe on walks and at home. I will send you plenty of photos so you know your dog is having a good time.

About: If you're looking for someone to care for your dog as if they were their own, I'm the person you want. I absolutely love dogs and after losing my sweet girl Kenya after 12 short years, I have so much love to give. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have always trained them myself. I stay consistent and patient when teaching new commands or tricks, and of course, I always have treats by my side. Since moving to Arizona 10 years ago, I’ve rescued over 25 dogs off the street and helped them find new homes. I've recently retired early and I'm looking to integrate pet care into my daily routine. I like to stay active and would love to spend more time walking, playing with, and caring for dogs. I am happy to brighten a dogs day and to make a positive impact on the lives of others' furry friends. I am available for walking and in-home visits. Depending on your needs (or the dogs) I can offer a leisurely stroll with lots of stops for smelling or quicker paced walking or even jogging to get that energy out. I am also happy to administer care with provided instructions. I can be avaibale as a cuddly companion to your dog or a fun playing partner. I am also happy to help keep their brains stimulated with some beginer training sessions-some of my favorites to teach are "spin," "search" and "touch". About: I have been around pets all my life. I have cared for dogs and every age, breed, and size. As well as cats, bunnies, chickens, fish, and even a tortoise! My favorite being an 18 year old Yorkie! I am currently working part time from home so I am available to feed, walk, and/or check in on your pets multiple times a day. I have a reliable vehicle and can visit your pets multiple times a day if needed. I am comfortable administering medication (pills) for your pets if needed. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes.

About: I have had pets my whole life with a dog being the consistent. Ive had dogs of all sizes and personalities. I feel great care for the animals & have a lot of love to give them. Right now my schedule is all over the place & so to the individual we can make a plan that works through good open communication (: Can give pets a bath & good brushing i don't perform any grooming beyond that. Love to make sure the dog gets enough loving and activeness that fits their personal breed & personality.

About: There is something sooo special about cats and dogs. I try and read their minds and it’s fun. I’m super affectionate but also understand that each one of them are different and deserve the connection they require to be happy and to feel supported -and entertained. I can manage a flexible schedule. I’m flexible in general. I can take care of other duties needed while I’m caring for your home and pets. Weekends I’d be primarily be stationed at the client’s home and during the week, it depends on the day/s. I am a quiet person who likes to read, write and create. Being around animals does something for my soul and is why I am looking for pets to care for. I will accommodate what is needed for you to be able to continue the love and support your pets get from you while you are away.

About: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember! I am new to the Rover community but I am not new to loving on the pups as I have committed myself to learning the best ways to adapt and give the best care for them. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs, I will dedicate my time to loving them (which is SO easy for me to do). I would be honored to take them to a dog park where they can also interact with the other puppers while you’re away! While I have had dogs of all sizes my entire life, I do not have any dogs of my own at the moment. This means I am full of energy and love to give to you and yours! I currently work from home part time so I have lots of time and love to give! This is intentional as I would like to spend more of time around the doggos. I am mostly available M-F but can be available on the weekends as needed, spending time with your pup is something I look forward to! My apartment has a dog park for both small and big dogs, as well as a full park just down the street. I do not own a crate of my own at the moment but I am able to set up their home crate in my space if needed.

About: Hello! My name is Emilie and I have been caring for animals my entire life. I received my first dog (a lab) as a birthday gift at 5 years old and loved every minute of it. Since then, our family has gotten two more dogs (another lab and a Lhasa Maltese) and two bunnies. I love animals so much I started working at a veterinary clinic. Here I dealt with a large variety of animals, from ferrets to birds, including dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, needs, and temperaments. I am PetTech (PetSaver) certified and trained in CPR, First aid, and care and can provide the certification upon request. I have an extensive background in administering many different medications (as well as oral vaccines). I also have trained several dogs in the past. Many around me know of my passion for animals, thus being how I became known as the neighborhood animal sitter, sitting nearly a half dozen neighborhood pets alone. I have cared for and pet-sat neighborhood animals including dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, and fish for a number of years. We maintain various dog toys, 5 minute access to a dog park and provide regular walks depending on individual dogs needs and energy levels. Our neighborhood maintains safe streets adequate for dog walking and we are trained in safe dog walking skills.

About: I have had the ability to have 2 small shelter rescue dogs, Neptune and Apollo. Neptune is no longer with us, but he and Apollo were both well trained and loved life. I have grown up around dogs and dog sat for several family members and friends in the past. I will make sure your dog is having fun and loving life when they are with me. I am currently a college student and have a very flexible schedual with most afternoon and evenings available along with the weekends. I do attend church for 2 hours on Sunday, but other than that I can be with your pet all weekend long. I check water bowls every hour and set alarms on my phone to make sure I never miss feeding time or medication. I play with your pets and take them on long walks when it is safe temperature wise to do so. Any medical concern will be run by the pet parent first unless a dire emergency arises, in which I will need preference(s) for vet(s) in the area listed ahead of time.
