About: I've been told by friends who have dogs, that the relationship I've built with their babes is one based on respect. That is because I am someone who is observant, and looks for the right cues before attempting to step into their comfort zone. Which is why when I'm asked to care for their pets, they can trust that I am there to look after them and care for their boundaries. That is also true when it comes to following their pet's routines and habits that are established, as well as having an understanding of their personalities. Every pet is different, it just takes a little time and patience to understand them. I do work from home two days out of the week, Monday through Friday. However, the remote days are flexible, and the rest of the week I am on the field conducting home visits for patients. Therefore whether you need me to house sit, for a day or two I can adjust my schedule to meet that, as long as I have enough notice. Or if you just need me to stop by for a potty break or a walk, I can add it to my route of visits. On weekends, I am available within reason. I am flexible, and I can do my best to accommodate your needs. It just takes a conversation and some planning. In my home, I do have four babes. One dog and three cats. I do have routines for them when it comes to meal times, and potty breaks. For Nani, my dog. She has her breakfast around the same time every morning, which is usually after I am done getting ready for work. Then soon after she finishes her breakfast, she cues me for a potty walk. We go around the block and she does her business and comes back home to a treat and some play before I go to make my breakfast. For my cats, Chachi, Mizu, and Jojo. They get their breakfast right before I take Nani out for her walk, that way they can eat peacefully and take their time without Nani wagging her tail at them. For the rest of the day, If I am working from home Nani gets a mid day walk around our grassy area at home, but usually in the summer she prefers to stay inside. The cats, I do tend to take mental breaks from my laptop, so one of the things I do is play with them with their string and give them a lil catnip for them to relax. Dinner time is a bit more relaxed, the cats have an auto feeder so their dinner serves at 6pm and for Nani, she gets her dinner, and then she cues me for a walk. Usually my husband and I alternate when following these routines, so in the case I'm out pet sitting, I am grateful that my husband will be able to take care of our babies while I care for yours. That is the way I care for my pets, based on their needs. I am big on routines, because that is how I've raised them to be. However every household has different lifestyles and understanding that is important when choosing to care for someone else's pet's.

About: I've always brought home all the stray dogs and cared for the hurt animals. I have always been that friend that everyone counts on when they go out of town to take care of the pets. I love the ask honestly, because I love spending time with them. I am very patient and intuitive and will let your animal get to know me rather than force myself on then. I am retired, so I am free to take care of you animals as much or as little as you need. I am generally an early riser so I can take your dog out for an early walk or run. I'm also available 7 days a week. The care would have to be provided in your home at this time as my rental property will not allow pets at this time. However, I am very flexible about staying overnight at your place.

About: Hi, I’m Lynnette! I’ve been an animal lover and pet owner for as long as I can remember. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I’m dependable, caring, and committed to making sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! ❤️🐾 I’m currently on leave, so I’m home full-time and have a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’m happy to accept last-minute walks when available. I do care for other pets as well, but I carefully space out my schedule to make sure every visit is on time and each pet gets the attention they deserve. I’m also comfortable caring for cats, including cleaning litter boxes. For boarding and sitting, I only care for pets from the same household at the same time to help provide a calmer, safer environment for your babies. I have a large home with plenty of room to run and play, plus a fully enclosed brick backyard for safe outdoor time. We live in a gated community in a nice, safe area of Mesa, so your pets will be comfortable, secure, and well cared for while they’re with us.

About: I want to be your new pet sitter! I am obsessed with dogs but I am open to all animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, rats and rabbits. I have been professionally pet sitting since 2018, but have been pet sitting for friends and family long before then. I am very attentive to the animals I care for to make them feel loved and comfortable when their owner is away. I am very responsible and will make sure you have no reason to worry when your home or animals are in my care. I am a ball of energy and am able to go on as many walks a day as necessary for your furbaby. About: Hi! I'm Kayla Barnett, an army wife and proud pet parent to two cats and two dogs. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—from growing up with a pet crow named Ivan and a raccoon named Berkeley to rescuing and rehabilitating baby raccoons and skunks. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do; it’s part of who I am. I’ve been walking dogs since middle school and have experience with almost every breed, from Affenpinschers to Pit Bulls and Huskies. I also work on manners and socialization, ensuring pets feel comfortable and cared for. Over the years, I’ve provided pet care for fellow military families, and now that I’m stationed far from a base, I’ve decided to restart my pet-sitting profile. My husband and I are active, love being outdoors, and dream of owning a ranch in Texas one day. Until then, we’re dedicated to giving your fur babies all the love, attention, and care they deserve—just like we would want for our own! Pet Care Schedule: As a full-time pet care provider, I am committed to ensuring your pets receive the attention, care, and love they deserve, around the clock. I offer flexible pet care services and am available 24/7 to handle any emergencies or urgent needs. Weekly Routine: Exercise & Adventure Days: I make sure each pet gets the exercise they need. For dogs that require a lot of movement, we go on longer walks or runs, depending on their energy levels. I also organize playdates when appropriate, so pets can socialize and burn energy. Training & Enrichment: I provide mental stimulation through training sessions, puzzle toys, and engaging activities. If your pet enjoys it, I’ll also work on specific training goals, such as leash walking or new tricks. Emergency Care: As a pet care professional, I understand that emergencies can arise. I’m available 24/7 for urgent care needs or last-minute appointments. Whether it’s a sudden health issue or you need someone to step in at the last minute, I’m here to help. Special Skills: I have experience with farm animals, exotics, and animals of all sizes, including large and more challenging pets. I am passionate about learning new animal care techniques and husbandry, so whether it’s a bird, reptile, or large farm animal, I am more than happy to take on the challenge! No matter the species, size, or care needs of your pet, I tailor my routine to match their individual requirements. I love all animals, from furry friends to scaly companions, and am dedicated to making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and safe. I understand how important it is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for your pets. In our home, we believe in creating a space where every pet can feel at ease, whether they’re staying for a few hours or a few days. I share my home with two cats and two dogs who absolutely love making new friends. They help ensure every guest feels welcome, and their playful energy can keep even the most energetic pets entertained. We have a fully fenced yard and a two-story home, so there’s plenty of room for pets to roam and relax. Whether your pet needs their own quiet space, or they prefer to join in on the fun with the rest of the crew, we can accommodate their needs. We also have both small and large kennels for pets who prefer some time to themselves. Safety and trust are at the heart of everything we do. I take the time to understand each pet’s individual needs and personality. Whether your pet enjoys snuggling up with the family at night or prefers some private space, we’re here to cater to their comfort. I’m a calm and patient person, and I take pride in building trust with even the shyest kitty or the most energetic dog. If your pet needs extra attention, whether it’s some quiet time or running miles for their daily exercise, I’m happy to help. Every pet is unique, and I’m committed to ensuring that they feel right at home while they’re with us.

About: With nearly 9 years of hands-on pet care experience, I provide loving, attentive, and routine-based care for both dogs and cats! I have cared for pets of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs-including administering medications, post-surgery support, and special diets. I take time to build trust with each pet at their pace, especially those who are shy, anxious, or new to a caregiver/walker. I am calm in emergencies and proactive with communication-whether that meant safely rushing a dog to the vet in an emergency or nursing my rescue cat back to health after temporary blindness. Pet parents trust me for my reliability, detailed updates, and genuine love for animals. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness always comes first! Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I’m currently taking a break from teaching elementary school this year to focus on other passions, which allows me to be fully present and flexible for the pets I care for. I have the time and availability to maintain consistent routines, accommodate midday, walks, extended visits, and last-minute needs, and give each pet the attention they deserve. Caring for animals has always been a meaningful part of my life, and this season allows me to prioritize it fully. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any household preferences. I take time to build trust with each pet, move at their comfort level and provide calm, loving attention – especially for pets that may feel anxious when their owners are away. I keep homes clean and secure, provide regular updates with photos and notes, and always prioritize safety. My goal is for pets to feel comfortable, cared for, and relaxed in their own environment, and for owners to feel complete peace of mind while they’re away.

Maxwell has been an absolute life saver for me and my dog. I would absolutely recommend him to take care of your pets. He walked my dog for a couple of weeks while I was unable to. I felt that Maxwell cared for my dog and loves walking dogs. He uses the rover app exactly the way it was designed. Which means you know exactly when he is coming to pick up your dog and he is always right on time! You know exactly where he walked your dog and you get pictures and a report card of everything your dog did on the walk. Maxwell is definitely a sitter you want to request on rover to watch your dog. And if he is available you definitely want to choose him. I also would like to mention I do have a bigger black pit bull and Maxwell was so cute and comfortable with her. If you have a pit bull and it’s sometimes hard finding sitters for, Maxwell is definitely your guy!!!

Susi went above and beyond watching our dogs while we were out of town! We have two dogs that have very different walk styles and Susi went the extra mile to give our more active dog extra time in the backyard when needed. She provided great updates throughout the week keeping us informed on how the dogs were doing as well which was grately appreciated!
