About: Hi!! :) My name is Serena, I love animals with all my heart! I’m the go to dog sitter for my best friend’s Husky & Shepard who is a tripod (3 legged king). I used to volunteer at Pasado’s Safehaven in Washington, and my favorite thing was to bottle feed the cows! I’ve also fed & changed swan bedding on the swan committee, fostered a bob cat, squirrels, horses, and birds. For personal pets I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, parakeets, canaries, cockatiels, leopard geckos, anoles, hermit crabs, tarantulas, various fish and aquatic critters/plants. I’m HOME: Mondays,Tuesdays,Wednesdays,Thursdays. In OFFICE: Friday 7:30-4:30pm, Saturday 8am-5pm w/ 1 hour lunch breaks to check on your pet! I also have a pet cam I can talk to them, send you pics, and dispense treats :) I will make sure we do a meet and greet so we can discuss any specific needs/safety concerns you might have! I have a lot of space and working from home makes frequent checks as simple as looking over from my work desk. My apartment unit is also directly across from the complex dog park and a large grass area! I have one cat, but she’s anti social so she would be kept separate in another room to enjoy her peace and quiet

Your pet's comfort and your peace of mind are the whole point. Pet care is a natural part of my daily rhythm. I block out midday hours specifically for visits, so I'm never rushing in and out. Your pet gets my full attention during the visit, not a distracted five minutes between other obligations. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I'd want for my own. I follow your instructions exactly, feeding schedules, routines, restricted areas, all of it. I'm also comfortable administering pet medications if needed. You'll always get a photo update before I leave so you know everything went smoothly.

About: I've been taking care of pets my entire life. I've taken care of anything from Guinea pigs to birds to rabbits to pregnant cats to senior cats and adult dogs. I've given medications. I currently work part-time in the evenings so I have all day to play with your Fur babies and I love going for a walk, so taking a dog with me is a bonus. I only have cats in my home. Currently, I have 2 adult cats of my own and a foster kitten. They are, in or only though they do like to send themselves on the balcony.

About: I’ve always loved spending time with animals! I grew up with several dogs and cats and helped with potty training and teaching our dogs fun tricks. As an adult, I’ve become the go-to pet sitter for many friends, family members, and neighbors. I’ve cared for puppies, energetic young dogs, and senior dogs, so I’m comfortable with all ages and personalities. I’m also comfortable with giving medicine or ear drops if needed. About: I've always brought home all the stray dogs and cared for the hurt animals. I have always been that friend that everyone counts on when they go out of town to take care of the pets. I love the ask honestly, because I love spending time with them. I am very patient and intuitive and will let your animal get to know me rather than force myself on then. I am retired, so I am free to take care of you animals as much or as little as you need. I am generally an early riser so I can take your dog out for an early walk or run. I'm also available 7 days a week. The care would have to be provided in your home at this time as my rental property will not allow pets at this time. However, I am very flexible about staying overnight at your place.

About: As a kid I would walk to my neighbors house and ask to play with their dogs. Not their kids, just their dogs. From there I started pet sitting for friends and family and have been doing it ever since. As an adult I have always had dogs. They truly are the best. One thing that I struggle with is whether or not they are well taken care of when I go out of town. Finding people to care for your pets as you would can be stressful. I want you to have total peace of mind when your pets are in my care because I have been in your shoes. I will love are care for your pets as if they were my own. I especially love giving people some peace of mind knowing their fur babies are cared for when they're away for an extended amount of time. I will follow your instructions to a “T” whether that’s crating your pet, keeping on schedule with walks and potty breaks, or administering medications. I will keep your pup(s) entertained and properly snuggled.

I am new to the Rover community but I am not new to loving on the pups as I have committed myself to learning the best ways to adapt and give the best care for them. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs, I will dedicate my time to loving them (which is SO easy for me to do). About: I have worked in the vet field for about 6 years. I have had pets my whole life. I love cats and dogs very much I’m a SAHM looking for some extra cash while my kiddo is in school. About: I absolutely love animals! I started dog sitting for my uncle when I was 18 and seven years later I now watch dogs, cats and bunnies! I’m able to provide comfort when their owners are gone. If need be, I’m able to give medication. I have a regular who adopts only elderly dogs so I am able to provide senior dogs the care they may need. I send pictures of the animals to give their owners an update. I want owners to know I will treat their animals as my own. I currently work full time and in the office. I am gone from around 7:30 to 5. After work I go straight to your home to spend the rest of the day there Since I watch in the clients home, I will stand outside with animals if they need to go out. I like keeping an eye on them. I will play with them but also be respectful of the clients home.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. My family had a two high energy dogs growing up and even from a young age I would enjoy caring for the two of them. After they passed, I volunteered at my local humane society, working mainly with dogs. When I was about 17, I convinced my family to adopt a puppy. I taught him basic commands, potty training, and basic leash skills. I currently own a cat who is equal parts sweetheart and menace. Being tasked with raising a kitten turned out to have a massive learning curve, but he is absolutely spoiled with playtime, toys, and treats. He is currently being leash trained and we’re working on anxiety associated with his crate. I am extremely flexible since I am in a hybrid program for classes, so all of my didactic/classroom work is fully online and accessible from anywhere and anytime! I do work Friday mornings from 8am-12pm and may not be available some weekends since I work every third weekend minimum. Otherwise, I’m completely flexible and will always try to work with you! I care for all pets with love and respect. The main goal is to establish trust with new pets by allowing them to approach me with interest on their own terms, even if it takes a while. Providing pets with playtime and attention is a priority after their daily basic needs are met. I believe in gentle correction or making an activity more interesting with treats or a favorite toy when a pet is acting up or disinterested.
