About: I’ve grown up with dogs and love having them around. There is nothing like the unconditional love of a dog! People say I’m the dog whisperer because they just seem to like me. I’m retired so I’m home. I do puzzles and reading and I really enjoy the company of dogs, walking them helps me get my steps in. I can take care of feeding and walking dogs. My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Taylor, came to us at just 8 weeks old with Parvo. She's now a healthy, happy five yr old who loves other animals. I work remotely from the main living area of the home, so pets are rarely alone. Whether I'm caring for energetic puppies, senior dogs, or those who simply miss their family, I follow their routines closely, provide lots of affection and enrichment, and send regular updates so you can relax knowing your pets and your home are in caring, dependable hands. I work remotely Monday through Friday, so pets in my care enjoy companionship throughout the day rather than being left alone while I'm at work. My desk is set up in the main living area, which means I'm naturally where pets like to spend their time. Whether your dog wants to nap nearby, play in the yard, or simply have someone close for reassurance, I'm there. I typically only leave briefly for my daughter's school drop-off and pickup, so your pets can enjoy a consistent routine with plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and cuddles. She needed help with walking on the leash, lunging, and being less attached to her owners. (She had separation anxiety). Throughout our bond, I have been patient with her, always allowing her to take her time with things, to both understand, and adjust. I can do basic leash training, and corrections for wrong behavior. I have experience with an Aussie cattle dog that had issues with pulling, and manners. Overtime, I've been working with him using all methods to my disposal: calm confidence energy, treats, and different methods to ensure focus (without krabby patties!) In general, I tackle leashed behavioral issues, manners on walks, patience, and leadership. I have confidence when teaching tricks; like sitting, paw, spin, and more. I am still learning more ways to help dogs that need more advanced work.(severe aggression/behavioral issues) I am very passionate about training, and leash training. I can help the dog gain focus on the human, to become a follower, and practice good self esteem. I can make a confident dog. Anxiety, bad behavior, pulling, or uncomfortable issues arent a red flag for me. I'd love to take any animal. As long as they aren't agressive toward humans (me included). I have loads of free time, and would love to share it with your pets! I commute using an E Bike, with long range. Active hours are 12:00 PM to midnight. Sometimes earlier, Sometimes later. NOTE ON BOOKINGS: Because true behavioral progress and confidence take time and consistency, I FOCUS MY SCHEDULE ON RECURRING, WEEKLY (or daily) WALKING CLIENTS. I love building long-term friendships with dogs so we can actively tackle their habits. I have a job, a different one, I deliver food, and I am getting into writing unfiltered societal truths, and AI. I want to transition directly into animal care at the same time. I believe taking care of animals should always be in your daily routine because when I get tired I always make sure I take my dog out for a walk. With the cats I take care of, I make sure to feed them wet food, and dry food at the same time everyday, listen to their cues, and instinctively know what they want/need based on what they do/express. It feels like a natural instinct not a obligation to me. I'm always going to put my pets first. I find myself worrying, and thinking about them before making any sort of big decisions, and I will advocate for them in difficult situations. How I plan to take care of these animals safely in their own home as mine is unavailable.. is by respecting their boundaries.. First of all, not getting too close if they are upset with it, but also making sure they read the energy I give them. I'll always enter with a positive energy so they know I'm positive, and a calm energied person. If leashing in their home is required thats okay too. Honestly just patience, care, and most importantly repetition.
