“Kelsei watched our 4 month old puppy for a week and was amazing! She was professional and communicated with us daily with photos and videos. She also did daily trainings with our puppy while we were away. Luna was so happy when we came home and we will definitely be using her again.”

“My boy George was obsessed with Marianne the minute he met her. I left town for a few days while Marianne was watching him and I got lots of updates and photos about the stay. If you have separation anxiety like I do while leaving my dog, he will be in great hands. I’ll be definitely booking Marianne back to back for future stays. I feel so lucky to find someone so good to my beloved pup, who is also so respectful to the property. Thank you Marianne, we love you :) Eva & George”

“Maren was amazing? She helped us out on super short notice when we had to go out of town for a family emergency. It was wonderful knowing she was there taking care of our pups.”

“Shea was fantastic! Our pup was well taken care of, our house was spotless when we came home, and Shea sent plenty of pictures showing the fun our pup was having with her. We cannot recommend her enough!”

“Zack did an amazing job with our pup! He not only kept us updated but sent little videos and pics throughout the weekend to put us at ease. He also left the house in wonderful condition when he left and we will definitely be using him again for future trips!! Highly recommend!!”

“Jessica is wonderful. It will take a few more times but one of my dogs is skiddish easily. She did everything she could for him plus my older dog Boo. I appreciate it that she was determined to try every time she came over during the day and night. She is so kind. She’s very gentle and I think that’s why she was able to get Rocky to come out for a little bit on his blanket. Jessica 🐾 is hard-working and really cares about the animals she cares for. we think her so much!”

“Zoe (and Kaleb) are incredible. They communicate often, are thoughtful, responsible, kind and respectful. They had a complicated first visit and they handled it so smoothly.”

“Kay is amazing!!! I felt 100% confident leaving my new puppy with them for 4 nights. They provided updates with photos and videos throughout the day every day which put our minds at ease and we knew our boy was being taken care of. They left the house clean and even washed the sheets and blankets before we got home. Highly recommend them!”

“Leslie is truly the best pet sitter out there! She is 100% reliable and has been nothing but amazing every time she has watched my fur babies. I completely trust her to give my animals the best care possible and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an exceptional pet sitter!!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs my whole life. I have a husky of 6 years that is practically a cat in a dog’s body. I personally get very anxious when leaving my furry friends for trips, so I know how important it is to send pictures and updates of how your fur baby is doing. 9 times out of 10 I am the person in the corner playing with the dog at social events, so I will make sure your pets are well entertained and having a good time! I currently am finishing up Cosmetology school to get my license so I am only available starting at 5pm during the weekdays. As for weekends I am totally free! I am also able to house sit for an evening during the weekdays. I have a husky that has severe separation anxiety, so I will make sure that your pets are calm, safe, & sound even if that means sitting on the floor with them for hours. When taking care of multiple pets at once, I am very aware of my surroundings and making sure that everyone is getting along and having fun.

About: -Work from home therapist, off by 12 -Behavior Analyst -Cat and dog person -Pet sitting since I was a teenager -Gives pets extra love knowing they are away from their families are away I have a full time remote position from home. I see clients for 30 minute sessions and am available in between those sessions for walks/cuddle time/play and fully available after 3 pm. When house sitting I can either be present for the pets as I work from your home or work from my own home and return by the afternoon, which ever suits your needs best. My car Montague is my priority. I make sure that he is well cared for, properly engaged and stimulated but also ensure that he has a loving home.
“This was our first time using Rover and Svetlana was just wonderful! Very nervous leaving our pup with sitter for first time but she was just great! Our dog has separation anxiety and he can be a little nervous with new people but he loved Svetlana! We will be using her again in future!”

“Zach was so great with little Alfie. He went out of his way to come over to meet Alfie beforehand, and while Alfie wasn’t on his best behavior, Zach remained undeterred. When Zach came back for the actual sit, he and Alfie had a great time. Would trust Zach with any of your furry friends and I look forward to rebooking him soon!”

“Will was a fantastic sitter. He shared photos & videos of our dogs which made us feel connected while we were away and trust they were in good hands. He left the house in pristine condition. Would absolutely recommend him and work with him again when we have a need!”

“We’ve been using Rover now for, well since it was created, and have had mostly good caregivers for our dog. Over the years we’ve probably used 15 or so sitters. Part of being satisfied is not expecting perfection, so we never do. If you keep the house from burning down and our dog is safe that is our basis for satisfaction. We have had sitters arrive late, leave early, bend the truth, and even take supplies from our house, so when you find someone whose nature is to genuinely care, to be sincere, and to deliver a service that is better because her standard is just better, it sure makes you grateful. Someone taught her long ago that communication is important, that pet owners want to be in the know, so they don’t have to worry. Julia is simply the best provider we have experienced on Rover. She just gets it, and that means so much to us. From arriving when she says she will each and every time, to letting us know how our dog was doing, to caring for our house and belongings as if they were her own. She even took the time to make sure our return was on time and to make herself available of if we were to be delayed. For selfish reasons, i dont want anyone to book her, but she deserves to be the busiest Rover pet sitter ever and im sure she will be. Thank you Julia!”
“This is the second time I've booked Desiree, and I would definitely book her again. Desiree is very attentive and loving to my dogs, and I have complete peace of mind when she's overnight sitting with them. She's very focused on doing a great job for you, and I highly recommend!!”

About: Hello! So nice to meet you. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your pet(s)! My first name is Taylor, but please call me Marie (my middle and preferred name) :-) I am competent, thorough, communicative, responsible, punctual, respectful, honest, and have integrity. You can be assured that your pet(s) will be safe with me. I give periodic written updates with photos, I follow instructions carefully, I take attentive notes about your pet from your description and my own observations, I am focused and attentive when caring for your pet(s), and I respond promptly to messages. For pet sitting in your home, I am very tidy/respectful and will leave your home as clean as when I arrived, and I stay in only the designated area(s) and only touch what I need to (please show me where you keep cleaning supplies and your pets’ food or medications, etc.). I pick up after your pet and bring my own dog waste bags, leads, collapsible water bowl, and first aid kit, just in case. I pay attention to details, like the temperature (air/ground) being safe for walks. My preference is to suggest a “Meet-and-Greet” (whenever possible. I do typically accept short-notice requests where this may not be logistically possible) because it’s important to me that you AND your pet are comfortable with me (and I you). I am loyal and love to have repeat clients, but I also enjoy taking on one-time requests, I’m happy to help. I try to keep a pet’s routine as familiar as possible for their comfort and your peace of mind. A bit about my background: I'm currently enrolled (2026) in Penn Foster's Vet Tech Associate's Degree Program. I graduated with a 4.0 from Pima Medical Institute, Phoenix, in December 2020 from the Veterinary Assistant Program. I graduated magna cum laude ("with great praise") from ASU in 2015 with a BA in Creative Writing and a second BA in French linguistics/translation/literature. I also completed one semester of the Pre-Veterinary Medicine program at ASU. I am Fear Free Level 3 Certified (........), and currently I'm renewing my certification for 2026. I am RECOVER Initiative (CPR) certified (just renewed for 2026). I've worked for various Small Animal vet clinics on and off since 2018. I have been working with animals in some capacity since 2010 (technically years earlier, since I used to volunteer at our local humane society in elementary and middle school as a kid), and I’ve had my own pets since I was ~5 years old. I worked previously for Rover from July 2017 to May 2021, and took a hiatus because I moved, but unfortunately I no longer have my original Rover profile (Was listed as "Taylor E.", first name and maiden name initial). I had a 5-star rating from 35 people who were pleased with my pet care and communication and left positive reviews (thank you so much!!!) and had several repeat clients -- Please see screenshots of my previous Rover account reviews in my photo gallery. I love working for Rover, so I’m glad to be back! I have the experience to be able to care for certain special needs, and I will communicate with you honestly (at all times) if I feel a request/booking is beyond my scope of experience because my priority is your pet's safety and wellbeing and I feel they should be matched with the best possible carer. I have worked with a variety of cats/dogs of different ages, abilities/needs/conditions, sizes, and breeds, as both a veterinary assistant and pet sitter. As an important DISCLAIMER: While I do have years of vet assistant experience and formal vet assistant education, I am not a Veterinarian and not a CVT (i.e., I am not licensed to practice veterinary medicine); I can only care for your pet in the capacity as a pet sitter / dog walker and cannot provide medical care or diagnose or prognose, etc. I will always refer you to your local Vet for that type of care and will not do anything outside of my scope of expertise for the safety of your pet (and to abide by the law). In the event of an emergency I can provide first aid/CPR and transport your pet to the vet. About our pets at home: My husband and I have two wonderful cats (1 adopted, 1 we rescued) and two wonderful dogs (adopted by us from the humane society after they were rescued from dire situations, respectively; one of which is a tripod and one is a disabled senior that wears diapers) -- I gravitate especially towards rescues and seniors that need a little extra care, and I especially love cats. Every pet is so special and deserves a safe and happy home! Thank you so much for your consideration. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! -- Marie When receiving a booking request, I will communicate in detail about my availability to ensure it meets your expectations and your pet's needs. I’m a transparent and thorough communicator, and I’ll let you know of any prior commitments that I may have during a house stay request. I also do real-time check-ins/updates, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing, what we’re up to, and when I am present and when I leave your home. My day-to-day work/school is remote and flexible, so I can choose my own hours and follow your pet’s daily routine (waking/sleeping/feeding, etc.), and give them lots of both active, attentive quality time (undivided attention playing with them, walking them, petting them, brushing them, caring for them, etc.) and hangout time (for example, sitting on the couch together). Whenever possible, I can take short-notice and same-day requests. I have evening classes most weekdays for ~2-4 hours, depending on the day, and occasional performances on weekends, but typically no other scheduling commitments from May to September annually. From September through May (9 months, Fall to Summer), I am unavailable Saturdays and some Fridays (mostly First Fridays) due to our performance schedule. For a healthy pet that can be safely left alone, I still always spend as much time with them as possible and only leave the house for meals (and/or can bring food) and/or class, an occasional errand, depending on how long the stay is. I arrive well-prepared to minimize the need to exit the home. I will discuss my availability and your pet's needs in detail before accepting a booking to be sure it is mutually a good fit. For any booking, your pet’s care and safety is my primary responsibility and I take my duty of supervision and care with the utmost seriousness (don’t worry, I’m also fun!). I also care deeply for their emotional well being, so while I have to be realistic about my own schedule and needs (my classes, the need to eat, etc.), I don’t leave them unattended or lonely for any longer than I have to. In your home or on a dog-walk, I will give your pet(s) my full attention to their safety, well-being, and happiness. I am consistent and committed to staying up to date on the latest behavioral and scientific/medical knowledge. I am thorough and I carefully follow directions and will ask for clarification if needed to ensure I am prepared for your pet's specific care. I am experienced and knowledgeable, and you can trust me in your home and with your precious pets. If they have a special need that I am not qualified for handling or have experience with, I will be honest and not overstate my skills (I want your pet to be in great hands with the best fit possible as much as you do). I am gentle, calm, and kind, and can also be silly/fun/playful/energetic, or very quiet; I try to adapt to your pet’s personality, comfort, and needs. I've worked with a range of pets, from quiet seniors and calm cats to rambunctious puppies, giant-breeds, and anxious pets. And while I love them all, I most especially gravitate towards cats, seniors, and differently-abled pets. I unfortunately cannot care for your pets in my own home (such as daycare or pet sitting in my home) because I have four of my own at home with special needs and routines. (Note that when I’m away on a house stay, they are in great hands with my husband, so while I miss them dearly when gone, my own pets are very loved and looked after.) ***I’m not accepting puppies at this time due to my varied availability/classes, or most Large/Giant breeds only because I’m healing a neck/shoulder injury; I'm not assuming about your pet that they pull on a lead, but I want to ensure I could safely carry/transport them in the event of an emergency.***

Claudia was the best choice for an international trip that caused me so much dog-mom anxiety, especially with our senior dog. Our girls were well cared for and our house was left exceptionally tidy! Highly recommend Claudia for any house sitting needs, she will definitely be our go-to for any future trips.

Shelly stayed 6 nights with our Cutie. She took great care of our pup and the house. We loved all the updates, pics, and videos! Having Shelly around during the day, working from home, was very reassuring. And Cutie clearly looked her, following her around, snuggling with her in the couch, and sleeping right next to her at night. We were so happy to know Cutie was happy and will taken care of. Thanks, Shelly!

Emily was a fantastic dog sitter! She took such wonderful care of our anxious Chihuahua, making sure she felt safe and secure while we were away. The regular updates and photos she sent were great. On top of being fantastic with our pup, she took immaculate care of our house. We highly recommend Emily!

I was planning on boarding Olive when I went away thinking it would be a nice place but when I went and toured 6 days before leaving it was not what I imagined. I needed a sitter quickly and Joseph was very responsive and eager to help out, coming to meet my pup and immediately made me feel comfortable leaving her with him. While he watched her I received many updates and pics of how she was doing, which included some of her misbehaving which I appreciated because it made me know he was being open and honest. I will definitely be booking him in the future!

We could not be happier with Jamie and the service and care she provided. Total peace of mind from the meet and greet; pre trip communication and initial to end house sitting gig. Jamie was very personable; extremely confident in her pet caring skills; and takes her work very seriously and with complete professionalism. She arrived at the time we set up, kept in contact with us throughout our trip; showed great care to pets and home. Could not recommend her care enough.
