“Jenn is great! She answers requests very promptly and is great with our three standard Poodles AND all the complicated instructions that go with them & our home! Thank-you Rover app for helping me find Jenn!”

“Lori is wonderful! We booked her the second time to take care of our cats. Lori sent us lots of pictures and videos and we could see how happy and relaxed our boys were. She did a great job and took care that our cat got his medication twice a day. We will book her again on our next vacation. And Lori: Thank you for the funny comments on the photos, we laughed a lot!🤣”

About: I have been watching our neighbors and family friend’s dogs and doing drop-ins since I was little. My family has also had a dog since I was in highschool. I take him on walks every evening and am responsible for feeding and letting him out when my family is out of town. As well as my sisters dog when she stays with us. I am available throughout the day to do drop-in’s, go on walks or spend time with them at home throughout the day. Aside from a random day I have plans, my schedule is very flexible. I have a dog I take on walks at home and enjoy being outside with. As well as playing/throwing their toys or sitting together at home.
“Sunny waits for Mia every morning and is her new favorite person!! She is sweet and kind to him, can handle his exuberance and she's really flexible and communicate thoroughly letting me know she's on her way. I couldn't be happier with Mia and an so grateful I found her!”

“I highly recommend Megan for drop-in visits. She was super reliable and went above and beyond! I always received detailed communication about what was going on at home while I was traveling plus photos, and my dogs loved her and her husband, Steven. Even my shy dog, Zoe, warmed right up to them. You can trust Megan to care for your furry friends like they are her own.”

“Abby is wonderful! She knows how to take good care of dogs and guinea pigs. Our pitbull mix Hazel got along with her really well. The guinea pigs were kept clean and healthy. I highly recommend her.”

“We had a very last minute need for a check in visit for our dogs and Sydnie was an absolute angel! She fed and walked our pups and spent some sweet time snuggling with them as well! We hope the next time isn’t quite so urgent, and can’t wait for Sydnie to visit again!”

About: Hey there! I’ve love and have been taking care of all kinds of animals since I was about 5 years old. I’ve had a few dogs, cats, and reptiles throughout my life. I will keep my calendar updated and be responsive to any requests. I have experience with feeding, brushing, and playing with cats and dogs, as well as walking dogs. I’m also experienced with feeding (including live insects - no mice) and cleaning up after reptiles, along with administering eye drops and oral medicine for them.

About: I have hands on experience caring for both puppies and older dogs. I currently help raise and train our own puppies, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines, potty training, crate training, and basic commands. I’ve also pet sat for older dogs and understand the importance of patience, comfort, and keeping their routine consistent so they feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. I genuinely love being around animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. Making sure they get plenty of attention, care, and a calm, loving environment while you’re gone 🤍🐾 Pet care fits really naturally into my weekly routine. I work as a full-time nanny during the weekdays, typically finishing in the mid afternoon, and I’m often already in homes with pets as part of my nanny work. I also have my own puppy, so caring for animals is a daily part of my life. I’m used to managing a busy but flexible routine, so I’m able to fit pet care in consistently and reliably around my nanny schedule and personal responsibilities. In clients’ homes, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their normal environment. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medication (if needed), and any specific house rules. I make sure to keep things clean and consistent so pets feel secure while their owners are away. For dogs, I prioritize walks, playtime, and structure so they stay happy and exercised. For cats, I focus on a calm presence, litter box maintenance, feeding, and giving attention based on their personality and comfort level. If a pet were ever in my home, they would be treated like part of the family - with a calm, safe space, lots of attention, and a routine that keeps them comfortable and stress-free 🤍🐾
About: I’ve had dogs and cats most my life and have cared for many friend’s and neighbor’s pets. I love dogs, cats, and even bunnies and will care for yours like they were my own. I have plenty of experience teaching my dogs tricks and good behavior along with giving them medicine and treatment when needed. I currently work part time and am a part time online grad student working on my masters degree from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On my days home I’d love a break to care for your pet or enjoy a nice walk together! I currently have no pets of my own and can come by to care for your pet whenever you may need. I work well with all pets big, small, young, and old as long as they are non-aggressive.
About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom of two, so I truly understand the importance of trusting the person caring for your pup. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to wise seniors—and I’m comfortable giving medication when needed. Whether it’s a neighborhood walk, a long hike, or some good old-fashioned cuddle time, I tailor each visit to your dog’s energy level and personality. My goal is always to keep tails wagging and pet parents worry-free. Pet care is naturally built into my daily life—I’m already walking, feeding, and loving on my two dogs every day. Adding extra walks, playtime, and check-ins for your pets fits seamlessly into my routine. I enjoy being active, so heading out for walks or hikes is something I look forward to, not something I “squeeze in.” Whether it’s weekdays or weekends, I make pet care a priority and keep a flexible schedule to meet the needs of both pets and their people. When pets are in my care, I treat them as if they were part of my family. In my own home, that means a safe, cozy environment, plenty of playtime, and regular walks to keep them happy and healthy. I keep routines consistent with what they’re used to—whether that’s mealtime schedules, medication, or favorite bedtime rituals. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the pet’s space and the family’s. I follow instructions carefully, ensure that food, water, and litter needs are met, and give each pet the level of attention and affection they’re comfortable with. Whether it’s a quick walk, a snuggle session, or a calm presence for a shy animal, I adapt to what each pet needs most.

About: I have experience with cats, Dogs, birds, and even pet rats! I treat every animal as if it were my own and love on all with my whole heart. I work full time. My days vary and I have every other weekend off. However, I can make adjustments as needed to fit your schedule to the best of my ability. I own my own home. I do not have a fenced in yard but am open to taking to parks or whatnot. I do also have a gated front porch. Requests of pictures and/or videos are welcome. Pets would also have free roam of the whole house as well.

“Ava has been a huge help with coming by in the middle of the day to let out and play with our 3 month old Aussie. We were nervous about leaving her when I went back to work, but Delta adjusted very well and gets so excited when Ava comes by. Ava spends the perfect amount of time with her, making sure she gets plenty of opportunities to relive herself, play and get water. She even keeps any eye out for any concerns. We really appreciate her timeliness everyday and flexibility whenever we require a last minute adjustment in the time that she stops by. We will continue to rebook her for drop-ins and hopefully for additional services in the future:)”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young, whether it was mine or friends/family. I fed, walked, and played with them! I can take care of any breed! I currently work 10-6 five days a week, so I have time in the mornings and the evenings to spend time with your fur babies. I have a chain in my front yard so we can play outside. I also have 2 dogs of my own who love to run around and play with other dogs!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 36 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Southview. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
