About: I've always enjoyed being around animals, and over the years I've had the chance to care for both dogs and cats for family. I've watched my girlfriend's family's three senior cats (now 15, 14, and 21 years old) several times while they've been out of town, making sure they're fed, have fresh water, and keeping their litter boxes clean. Caring for a 21-year-old cat has taught me how important patience and consistency are with senior pets. I've also cared for my brothers' dogs—a 5-year-old Siberian Husky and a 7-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix—sometimes for several days at a time. That includes feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and giving them plenty of attention. I'm comfortable with high-energy dogs as well as older cats and always treat every pet like they're my own. I'm currently a full-time student finishing my last semester of college while working part time as a digital forensics intern. During the summer, my internship is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and I'm available for pet care anytime after my internship each day. Once the fall semester begins, my internship is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while my classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 4:00 p.m. I'm also available most evenings and weekends, so I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work around you and your pet's needs. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or visiting them in theirs, I always focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and respected. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and boundaries, so I never force attention or affection if they are not comfortable. About: HUGE animal lover! Ever since I was a kid I have loved surrounding myself with animals/pets. I grew up having dogs and cats so they have a special place in my heart. I’m currently working two jobs: full-time at Wilson McGinley 5 days a week and part-time at a Hitchhiker Brewing. The full time requires me to be gone 2-8 hours (flexible with being an on premise sales rep) and the brewery is a 7 hour shift. I can always make time for pet care! When I am at someone’s home I can take the dog outside every 2-4 hours and can provide daily walks. If I am staying at someone’s place I usually tend to clean their home because I want to show a level of respect for anyone allowing me to stay at their home.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was about 10 years old. They always seem to love me and I love them as well.
