About: I’ve been around animals my whole life but my first job years ago in high school was at a veterinary hospital/ boarding. Because I was still in high school I was mainly in the kennels taking care of all the wonderful fur babies while their parents were out of town. Also, after informing the doctors that I was aspiring to become a vet, they allowed me to put on some scrubs and help out occasionally. I quickly realized that I was going to find a different way to care for animals 😂 Since then I have raised my own dogs and cared for animals of friends and family and have worked a few jobs at doggie daycares. I am an early riser because of my job so if your fur baby is too, they will fit right in! I work construction so I will be out for a portion of the day, but my wife works from home so her and our two pups will always be there to keep your baby company and make them feel right at home! At my house, no where is off limits for a furry friend. We can do anything to accommodate your fur babies to make sure they’re comfortable with their stay and you can have peace of mind that they will be happy and safe while you are away!

About: I’ve learned and taken on responsibilities caring for animals, specifically dogs, at a young age. Nacho, my past rescue dog, lived to be about 15 years of age. He needed quite a lot of care in his old age, including joint supplements, pimobendan for his heart, and other treatments. I currently have two cats named Kirby and Sam. I would love to have a dog, but my living situation doesn’t allow currently for the quality of life they deserve. I work full-time as an aesthetician, but with some days off, so if you need a day or a time that you don’t see we may be able to work something out:) I ensure a clean environment with no hazardous materials around, ample enrichment, and all the love humanly possible. About: I have grown up with pets as a child to the time I came to college. In my childhood and early teen years, my family has owned a cat. In my mid-teen years, my family decided to own a dog! I have also volunteered at an animal shelter while in high school! I work full-time as a caseworker worker and I am looking for a second means of income that I love. I love meeting new people and their pets! I am able to ensure they have food, water and have gone potty before I leave for work, check in with them while on my lunch break and enjoy their company after work! We let my dog roam around in the house most of the time, however if we will be gone for an extended period of time (day trips), we will put her in a crate with a blanket, food, water and a toy to play with along with the television on in the background.
About: I went to a vet tech program in high school which made me familiar with disabilities and health issues in pets. I have trained both my medium/large dogs and even one of my cats. I am comfortable with animals of any size or shape. I have also raised three happy independent kittens from when they were only just about a month old. I am currently working on getting a job as an EMT and applying to colleges, Currently I am available weekdays after 3 pm and weekends after 12:00 pm(this is flexible and I would be willing to stretch earlier in the day if needed but it is a general guideline). My availability once I get a job at an ambulance company may change but it should not be anything too significant. I can come over for up to a few hours a day to spend time with/ feed any animals in the household, I unfortunately can not stay overnight due to my own cat at home but would be willing to come over earlier in the morning and stay all day if necessary. If walking a dog we will discuss and plan a route, or discuss how long the walks should be for me to walk beforehand.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
