About: I’ve been a dog person my whole life, from growing up with Winnie and Hairdo to caring for my soul dog Cici (Khaleesi) for nearly 14 years. I lost my sweet girl in July and now I have a whole lot of love to give without anywhere to put it. 🥹 Your pup will be treated like royalty with plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles, and attention... just the way Queen Cici demanded. 👑 I work from home, so my schedule is flexible with plenty of time to give your pup attention between meetings and emails. My day job is in social media so you can guarantee to receive Instagram-worthy photo pupdates while your dog is with me. I’m super active and love a long northside sniff walk. I’m often available for early mornings, lunchtime visits, and late evenings. I’m happy to work with your dog’s routine and needs. My home is set up really well for dogs, with an almost fully fenced-in backyard and a covered deck for relaxing outside. I’m on a quiet street in East Allegheny, with cute spots around for treats like Garden Cafe and ACB. My apartment is on the second floor of a house, so there are stairs to get in and two steps inside the apartment as well.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old. My family has had 3 dogs at a time since then and I have always been responsible for watching them, letting them out, and feeding them. I currently own a year old Jack Russel named sir loin and he is absolutely obsessed with making friends! I’m always available on during the week and weekend as I have a remote job. So this includes overnights, drop ins, babysitting, and walks throughout the day. My fiance and I rent in a great neighborhood full of dogs. We live right by a park and I have a little yard right outside of my house.

About: I grew up with dogs and have loved animals my entire life. I have been a pet sitter for many friends and neighbors over the years and had my own canine companion for 10 years. She passed away in November of 2023. Animals deserve to be loved and treated like family. I promise that your dogs will be treated very well and that they will truly enjoy their “vacation” at my home. It’s difficult to leave your “loved ones” in the care of others and I know that feeling. Rest assured that they will be cared for and spoiled to the best of my ability! I am a behavioral therapist who works with children and families. I have a hybrid job which means that I work from home doing Telehealth services and I also see clients in person at times. I am home for most of the day and this worked perfectly when I cared for my late dog, Arwen. I do not have any pets currently. I have an elevated deck that is only accessible from the house. It is surrounded and my dog loved to spend time out there basking in the sun. I have a yard but it is not fenced in. My neighborhood is quiet and very dog friendly.

About: I grew up with a chihuahua and small pomapoo and after that I had two Great Danes. I currently have a golden doodle named Sesame. I have a pretty relaxed schedule currently so I’m free nearly 24/7 to be able to care for your fur babies. I can do overnight stays as well! Annie was fantastic with my dog Cooper! He’s a big chocolate lab who is reactive at times, and I felt very safe leaving him in her care. Her pup Sesame is a sweetie, and they were walked a couple times with updates and clear, effective communication all the way through! I would love to have her watch my dog again.
Adrienne was great and took my dog at the last minute, making things super easy. She sent photos and managed to make my dog feel comfortable as a part of a pack for the day that included a great dane! It was a really good experience and she thought of everything!

My pup, Clay, was so well cared for during my trip to Pittsburgh. His tail was practically wagging off at each and every drop off. The updates and photos gave me peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy my adventuring around town without any concern for his happiness and safety. Damara was easy to meet and talk about dogs and other things and we had a great time just meeting. Laddie I am sure enjoyed his visit--he actually acted a bit peeved that Andrea was picking him up. We are happy to have found Damara and plan on using her services more often.
Justin was great as he was able to accommodate a late evening daycare visit for our dog Fran while we went for an event in town. He was incredibly accommodating and flexible with the timing and was very eager to help. His corgi Watson is adorable and a very social dog. Our dog was anxious but Justin was able to keep her company and sooth her while we were gone for a few hours, she eventually relaxed and laid her head on his lap! I would highly recommend Justin to take care of your dog as he loves them and provides great care for them.
Shelly watched our dog for a few hours on relatively short notice so that we could go to a Pirates game. She was flexible with drop off, and walked the dog a couple of times in a few hours, which was just what the dog needed after 8 hours in the car. She also took the dog to the local dog park without issue. $72 was a little pricey for 4 hours of daycare, and we didn't get pictures like we expected (I see some were taken, so maybe it was an app issue), but all in all it was basically just what we needed and we're grateful!
