“Adrienne is awesome and straight up THE BEST! She is super dedicated, very professional, and easy/very reliable regarding communication. I can’t recommend her highly enough, and I have zero hesitation leaving my Lily with her.”

“Excellent dog sitter. My “puppy” loved his time with Rae. She also sent updates and pics of him from their walk, and time hanging out. I definitely hope to have my dog board or visit for day sitting again.”

“Valerie was terrific! She treated our little Hattie like her own and provided routine updates with pictures. We've already scheduled our next Doggy Day Care!”

“Christy has watched Peach throughout her entire life; sometimes it was a weekly basis, a few times she watched her at a last minute Emergency notice, and had even boarded her over a long weekend. Peach isn't a big fan of humans but loves going to Christy's, getting to visit with her friends. Peach loves her dog Louie and playing with the other pups that she takes care of. I enjoy the photo updates, I am happy that Peach feels safe and I feel comforted while she is in Christy's care, and that Christy allows the dogs on the furniture-Peach even got to sleep in bed when she stayed. I hope I never have to go through the process of figuring out another sitter because Christy is the one for us; Highly Recommend for any of you and your pets needs! Thank You Christy for Everything over the last 3 years!!!”

“Alexis was very responsive during our "interview" stage and very pleasant upon arrival. Although prince was anxious to leave he seemed to be comfortable and safe and that's all that mattered. Thank you for being available.”

“Tia was a great puppy sitter for our Monty! She updated us throughout the day with videos. Monty was playful and happy. She took great care of our fur baby! Would definitely recommend her.”

“We’re so happy to have met Joe (and Zip!), Phoebe was well cared for and had a great time. Thanks Joe for treating her so well and for sharing updates and photos while she was with you!!”

About: When it comes to pet sitting, my extensive experience and deep love for dogs truly set me apart. I've been around dogs since I was a baby and have been taking care of them for over 15 years. This lifelong familiarity with dogs has given me a strong understanding of their needs and behaviors. In addition to my experience, I have special skills in both training puppies and providing care for senior dogs. I am well-versed in the unique requirements of each life stage, ensuring that your pet receives the appropriate attention and care. Currently, I have a 1.5-year-old sweet Bernedoodle who is well-socialized and loves both cats and dogs. This personal experience further enhances my ability to provide a loving and comfortable environment for your pets. Whether it's playtime, training, or senior care, I am dedicated to offering the best possible care for your furry family members. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine. Each day starts with dedicated time for feeding, walking, and playing with my dog, ensuring they get the exercise and mental stimulation they need. Throughout the day, I incorporate short training sessions and regular bathroom breaks to maintain a structured schedule. In addition to daily care, my weekly routine includes more extensive activities such as grooming, longer outdoor adventures, and socialization opportunities with other pets. I make sure to set aside time for veterinary visits and any necessary health check-ups. Having a consistent routine not only keeps my own dog happy and healthy but also ensures that I am always prepared to provide top-notch care for other pets as well. My experience with my Bernedoodle has taught me the importance of maintaining a balanced and enriching routine, which I apply to all the pets I care for. When caring for pets in my home, I create a safe and welcoming environment where they feel comfortable and loved. My home is pet-friendly, with plenty of space for them to play and relax. I ensure that each pet has their own designated area with their bed, toys, and food/water bowls. Regular walks, playtime, and training sessions are part of the daily routine, along with lots of affection and attention. I also keep a close eye on their health and well-being, making sure they are happy and stress-free. When providing care in a client’s home, I strive to maintain the pet’s usual routine to minimize any disruption. I follow the feeding schedule, walk times, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I spend quality time with the pets, ensuring they get enough exercise, play, and companionship. I am also attentive to the home's security and cleanliness, treating it with the utmost respect. Whether it's administering medication, handling special dietary needs, or providing extra cuddles, I make sure every pet receives personalized and loving care.
“This was Sophie’s first time staying with Lauren. Sophie seemed comfortable with her right away. Lauren communicated with us during her stay, so we knew all was well. They went on walks, and she even took Sophie to a coffee shop to chill. We would use Lauren again!”

“Hannah did a fantastic job caring for my dog Boo! Boo usually struggles with new environments, but the care and attention Hannah provided made all the difference. She was patient, understanding, and went above and beyond to ease my dog's anxiety. Highly recommend for anyone with a nervous dog!”

About: I brought our two cats, Chili and Lok-Lok, all the way from China, but I grew up with dogs in my family and love both. I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends’ dogs and I heard about this app so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. Looking forward to meeting yours! I’m a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh so summer and winter breaks are relatively free, and usually I’m only “working” 2-3 half days per week. I have to do a lot of reading and thinking so getting out of the house is a good way to take a break and process. I have a fenced yard where I do some gardening and let our cats out every day to chase bugs and birds. My friends have stayed over with their dogs and I just move the cats to the second floor and keep them there while the dogs take the first and the yard.
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could leave 6 stars, I would! This was my first ever Rover reservation, so it’s a little overwhelming trying to choose a sitter from all the options — knowing they’re all strangers after all. I booked last minute AND I adjusted my reservation. Sara was so accommodating and flexible with all of my needs. I immediately felt at ease when I met her and her pup Grim, and I knew Cody was in good hands. Definitely will use again and recommend. Thanks for treating Cody like one of your own!”

About: I am a senior at the University of Pittsburgh and from Leesburg, VA. I love playing with dogs of all ages, and am a big fan of long walks! I hope I can bring your doggies as much happiness as they bring me :) My family loves to help me keep your dogs company as well, so they will receive lots of love🥰 Contact me anytime! I’m home in Leesburg for winter break and am available all December and some of January for dog sitting! Let me know whenever you need! In the house we have one loving pup named Lucy. She loves other dogs, but I’m more than willing to come by your house instead!
About: Growing up, I was surrounded by a variety of pets—everything from dogs and cats to fish, birds and reptiles, which gave me a lot of hands-on experience with different types of animals. As an adult, I’ve personally cared for my own dogs, cats, and fish, providing them with the love and attention they deserve. I’ve always been the go-to person for family, friends, and neighbors when they needed help with walking, feeding, or sitting for their pets. My experience spans everything from daily walks to special care for senior pets (as my last dog went blind at 11 years old). I’m committed to ensuring your pet feels comfortable, safe, and happy while you’re away. I usually work from my home office providing Digital Productivity Coaching to executives, business owners and professionals. So, I'm easily capable of keeping pets company when needed. I'm also a fitness enthusiast so I love taking dogs out on walks through the parks nearby. I have a bi-level condo unit and depending on the pet, I can give them as much or as little space as they need to be comfortable. I currently don't have any pets here. I'm also happy to crate your pet if needed for their comfort or safety.
About: As a devoted dog dad to my Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Dr. Watson, for more than 5.5 years, I've mastered both puppy and adult dog care from the ground up. Our journey together has taught me the importance of proper socialization, consistent routines, and creating a joyful environment for four-legged companions. Your pup can expect: - A playful canine companion in Dr. Watson - Three dedicated outdoor adventures daily - Constant supervision as I work from home - Spacious, dog-friendly living space - Personalized attention to your dog's unique personality I believe pet parents deserve peace of mind when apart from their fur babies. You'll receive daily photo and video updates showcasing your pup's adventures, nap times, and playful moments with Dr. Watson. Every dog has unique needs, energy levels, and comfort zones. I take time to understand your pet's preferences, dietary requirements, and favorite activities to ensure they feel right at home. Important Note: My home is a walkup apartment, so your dog should be comfortable navigating stairs independently. Let me provide the loving, attentive care your furry family member deserves while you're away! They'll return home happy, exercised, and eager to see you again. As a full-time remote worker, I'm home throughout the day with both Dr. Watson and any guest pups, providing constant supervision and care. Aside from brief essential errands, your furry friend will have companionship all day long. On weekends and after work hours, both Dr. Watson and I dedicate our full attention to ensuring your dog receives extra playtime, cuddles, and enrichment activities. Your dog will enjoy the comfort of supervised freedom—no crates or confined spaces unless you specifically request it. My home is thoroughly dog-proofed, allowing your pup to explore, relax, and play throughout the living space just as they would in their own home. Dr. Watson serves as a full-time canine companion, offering social interaction and playful energy that keeps guest dogs engaged and happy. I'm committed to maintaining your pet's routine as closely as possible—from familiar meal times and walk schedules to respecting their unique sleep habits and play preferences.

Oakland dog parents share their Rover experiences
Anahita was a wonderful sitter for our pup Chewie! We were visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend and needed a sitter to watch our boy. Anahita adapted to our off hour schedule and was super communicative, taking pics of him and letting us know how he was doing. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a kind and caring sitter.

Shannon and Stephen were wonderful with Finn! They were very flexible with our drop-off times, and Finn obviously had a great time playing with their puppies. They made sure to send lots of adorable photo and video updates of Finn having a blast. Highly recommend!
