Abby was great! Goose is a crazy 9 month old puppy and she handled him with no issues. She communicated updates and pictures throughout the day and assured me he was being a good boy which was a big relief. Definitely will be using her again!
Abby Potoker cared for your dog, Mumford, while we were away for the 11 years of his life. Starting from when he was a puppy, when we would have to go away, we would ask Abby to care for Mumford. We were always confident that she would take good care of him. In addition making sure he was fed and walked, she often would spend extra time with him, so he wouldn't feel alone. She usually would bring Mumford to her house to hang out or spend time studying at our house. Abby is a very responsible person and has a love for animals. Mumford was a very active, medium sized (~70 lbs) dog; nonetheless, she was able to control him on long walks. There were a couple of situations where we had to go away when Mumford was on medicines; Abby ensured that Mumford received the proper doses of medicine. Even after Abby went away to college, we would ask her to watch Mumford when she was home and we had to be away. We trusted Abby for our family pet and access to her home. She is extremely responsible and trustworthy. I am sure she will provide similar care and commitment to watching other pets.
Abby is a wonderful, sweet and compassionate pet sitter. She has cared for our older dog for many years now, not only walking and hanging out with her while she eats but also staying overnight with her when necessary. Abby has always gone above and beyond taking care of our dog. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Abby to anyone looking for a responsible, kind pet sitter who loves dogs and will treat them as she would her own.

Understanding their temperament, training, and how they interact with other dogs or people helps ensure a smooth stay. I’d also ask about separation anxiety, favorite activities, and any off-limits areas. Lastly, having emergency contacts, including their vet’s information, ensures I’m prepared for anything. This way, I can provide the best care and keep them happy and comfortable!
