“Zalie was amazing! This was our first time leaving our furr child with a stranger and also the first time using Rover. We booked only a few days before we had to leave and Zalie was very accommodating to set up the meet and greets and go over logistics before we left. She was very professional and thorough and we felt great about leaving our pup with her. We have a very high energy border collie/ cattle dog that has specific exercise needs. Even in the rain, she took him on walks, to play fetch, and played a lot of mental exercises inside. She sent many updates and photos while we were gone and it felt like we were never wondering if he was having a good time. We 100% recommend Zalie !”

About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals for friends, family, and neighbors. I have experience with elderly dogs, puppies, cats, and over all dogs of all sizes. I have taken care of dogs who need medicine, cats, chickens, Huskies, Bull Mastiffs, Pit Bulls, and many mixed smaller dogs. I am currently a full time student who is fully available Tuesdays and weekends. During the week my availability is limited, but I am willing to walk or check in on pets from 3pm - 7pm Thursdays.and Friday evening. I clean up after pets and leave the house just as it was found. Our schedules line up to where someone would be home with your pup 95% of the time! We offer daily walks and adventures if that’s what your pup needs as well, and lots of toys of course. We have a large fenced yard that your pup can play and run around in. We have a dog as well that they can play with outside or inside. We have crate that your pup can use if that’s what they need.

“Hannah is a gem and I know I am blessed immensely to have found her. Hannah is trustworthy, caring, and has an almost mystical way with animals. She came to watch my two dogs and three cats with very little notice, allowing me to attend to an urgent family matter. Even with the short notice, Hannah came to meet everyone to make the situation as gentle as possible. All three of my very shy and wary cats came out of hiding right away, the shyest of whom approached Hannah for a pet! My elder dog (13 years old) has lost most of his vision and normally barks at new people, yet he was calm and happily "woo-wooo!"-ing the moment he met Hannah. My anxiety on leaving and what I was facing was greatly alleviated as I knew all of my furry family members were receiving exemplary care. I grew up with and have taken care of dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, birds, horses, reptiles, and amphibians, so I am well acquainted with many types of creatures! I have cared for newborn kittens, as well as senior dogs and cats. Due to my background as a veterinary technician and wildlife caretaker, I am very comfortable with animals who require medical care or have higher needs in general. I am familiar with giving medications, shots, cleaning and grooming, and overall behavior indicators of well-being. I also assisted in surgeries, where I prepped the supplies, took vitals, and monitored the pet's health while under anesthesia. While I hope no family has to endure the challenges that comes with an ill or elderly pet, it does happen. Whether you are planning a trip away or just need some assistance, I would be happy to care for your fur baby and hope to meet them soon. I currently have a cat and three chickens who I love a lot. So unfortunately, I cannot board any pets at my home. I have a remote job, so am flexible with home stays, walks, feeding schedules, and anything else to keep your friend happy. A day in my house as a dog: released from kennel to the yard to have a morning romp around the nice fenced in yard. Having a great drink of water as I pass the auto watering station. (Depending on instructions) a morning feed and rest in the sun for roughly an hour then some interactive play and enrichment (time frame is dependent on weather conditions). Once your doggo is tired and ready to take a long nap we head inside where doggos usually lay in the open baby gate area (also compatible for large and XL dogs) or the kennel whichever they prefer. Roughly 1-2 hours later potty break and time outside durning this time is when I would bathe your puppy if requested. After a lovely bath a 15-30 min walk and enrichment. Once returned home the night time routine begins with a good romp around the yard, enrichment and then quiet time with dinner.
