About: I've owned dogs and helped in their care since I was young. I've pet sat for friends and neighbors as well. My current dog has been trained by me to be a service dog, so I'm good with puppy training, as well as patience. I also take care of our elderly pugs grooming needs, such as nail trimming and coat brushing. I am currently at home often, so I'll have plenty of time to take care of your pet. I'll be able to make many runs over to check on your pet, or be able to stay with little to get in the way. If there ever is anything in the way, I will always be straight forward and communicate. I have a fenced in backyard and 3 dogs who are all very friendly. I never leave them alone and will always have an eye on them, so nothing goes wrong. I'm able to dog proof areas that may have problems, and keep anything dangerous well put of reach. I'm also able to have secure spaces incase dogs need to destimulate away from others. They will never be left alone unless I'm strictly given instruction.

About: Hi, I am Khloey! Currently setting my home up to be running a dog training program. I would love to take advantage of this time to get to know the animals and owners in my surrounding and hopefully build a great list of regulars! I have owned dogs my entire life from puppies to older doggos and a wide variety of breeds and behaviors. Currently I own a great Pyrenese mix and an American staffy of my own. My dogs are very well trained and our yard has two compartments so the dogs will not interact if that is what you would like. We allow dogs in our home and provide a nice quiet space for them to relax and unwind out of the heat. I hope to see your pups soon thank you for stopping by! At the moment my life consists of going on walks with my children to get out of the house and get some exercise. I would love to transform this into something to help promote happier and healthier dogs in my area. Being home everyday makes me a great candidate to ensure your best friend is safe and sound even when you’re busy! A day in my house as a dog: released from kennel to the yard to have a morning romp around the nice fenced in yard. Having a great drink of water as I pass the auto watering station. (Depending on instructions) a morning feed and rest in the sun for roughly an hour then some interactive play and enrichment (time frame is dependent on weather conditions). Once your doggo is tired and ready to take a long nap we head inside where doggos usually lay in the open baby gate area (also compatible for large and XL dogs) or the kennel whichever they prefer. Roughly 1-2 hours later potty break and time outside durning this time is when I would bathe your puppy if requested. After a lovely bath a 15-30 min walk and enrichment. Once returned home the night time routine begins with a good romp around the yard, enrichment and then quiet time with dinner. One last potty break before bed and that’s a day as your pup in our home. Thank you for trusting me in caring for your pup!

About: I am a former dog trainer at Dog Gone Amazing training and boarding in Reno Nv for the past 4 and half years. I moved to Eureka to have a new start and would love to continue to work with animals. I’ve worked with many different breeds and many different temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own and a cat as well. I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals, such a horses, chickens, sled dogs and cats. I would love to continue working with new pets and their owners! I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. I’ve also worked as a kennel tech at a boarding/training facility and then moved on to become a trainer at that same facility. I always recommend crates for any situation but in my own home I would crate all dogs and rotate based on how they all get along. Feeding in the crate or separate from other animals. Daily walks or hikes depending on the animal. Cats would get daily enrichment. If weather doesn’t permit or the animal isn’t able to get that day I’d offer mental enrichment such as lick mats, food puzzles, play, training, etc.

About: I started pet-sitting in my adolescence and have continued pet-sitting for friends, family, neighbors, and roommates for over twenty years. I've cared for dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, lizards, snakes, fish, rabbits, and rodents. I've administered medication, cared for newborn animals, and have even had to safely evacuate two dogs and two kittens from a home this past summer where I was pet-sitting due to wildfire. About: I had a small dog for over 10 years who was a beloved member of our family. She passed this previous winter and I wasn't able to be there because I was away at university. I want to make sure other pet parents feel secure that someone is there who genuinely cares for their pet. I also have two cats and a blue-tongued skink at my other house in southern California, and I've also had a scorpion and vinegaroon. I have a snake here with me in Arcata and I've cared for snakes since I was a young child. I've also petsat a bearded dragon. Cats and dogs are both fond of me, but I'm capable of caring for unique types of pets, as well! I'll be in Arcata the entire summer except for a week in early June, so if your usual university student sitter isn't around, I will be! I don't currently have a full-time job over the summer nor over the school year, so I'll be free to spend as much time with your pet as you desire or need. I don't have a yard, but if you need your pet to get some fresh air, I'm willing to take them wherever! I have a car that can fit your best friend if they like the beach, or the woods, or another fun spot that'll help them get exercise and stimulation while you're away.

About: My name is Bree, I am currently a zoology major at cal poly Humboldt. All my life I have been surrounded by animals (dogs, cats and everything inbetween!). I have extensive experience with all kinds of animals, I worked in a veterinary office for a year and volunteered at the local cat shelter in my hometown for two years. I grew up with two disabled pups, so I’m used to giving pets medication. I’m planning on working part time! Ideally I will only work Three days a week (Tuesdays, wednesdays and Thursdays). However, I can occasionally work weekends if I am contacted prior. I am open to working mornings, afternoons and sometimes nights. I’m pretty much open to anything! I currently own many pets, so I’m more inclined to work at someone else’s home. I love animals and if I were to babysit your pet I’ll spend all the time I can with them while also not smothering them with my attention.
