House Sitting in Newburg

About: I grew up taking care of multiple dogs whether it be my small little indoor dogs or my big outdoor dogs on the ranch, newly moved to town on my own in my apartment and can’t have dogs. I would love you take care of your dogs taking them on walks playing with them and spending time with them while you’re out and about or busy ❤️🐾 I’m currently a senior at Fortuna Union so I’m in school Monday-Friday 8:15 to 3:20 then my work schedule is Saturday-Tuesday Saturday it is 11am-3pm then Sunday- Tuesday is 5:00pm-9:00pm Due to me not being able to have pets of my own in my apartment (I live in Gary Crivellos studio on the car sales lot) I am unable to your have pets at my house but I have truck and I will more then happily stay with your pets in there comfortably well known environment at home or even take them on walks. I’m such a huge walker I love going to RiverWalk or Newburg& Rohner Park to walk

About: I've owned dogs and helped in their care since I was young. I've pet sat for friends and neighbors as well. My current dog has been trained by me to be a service dog, so I'm good with puppy training, as well as patience. I also take care of our elderly pugs grooming needs, such as nail trimming and coat brushing. I am currently at home often, so I'll have plenty of time to take care of your pet. I'll be able to make many runs over to check on your pet, or be able to stay with little to get in the way. If there ever is anything in the way, I will always be straight forward and communicate. I have a fenced in backyard and 3 dogs who are all very friendly. I never leave them alone and will always have an eye on them, so nothing goes wrong. I'm able to dog proof areas that may have problems, and keep anything dangerous well put of reach. I'm also able to have secure spaces incase dogs need to destimulate away from others. They will never be left alone unless I'm strictly given instruction.

About: Hello! I am a recent college graduate looking for a side hustle, and am an avid animal lover! About: I am a former dog trainer at Dog Gone Amazing training and boarding in Reno Nv for the past 4 and half years. I moved to Eureka to have a new start and would love to continue to work with animals. I’ve worked with many different breeds and many different temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own and a cat as well. I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals, such a horses, chickens, sled dogs and cats. I would love to continue working with new pets and their owners! I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. I’ve also worked as a kennel tech at a boarding/training facility and then moved on to become a trainer at that same facility. I always recommend crates for any situation but in my own home I would crate all dogs and rotate based on how they all get along. Feeding in the crate or separate from other animals. Daily walks or hikes depending on the animal. Cats would get daily enrichment. If weather doesn’t permit or the animal isn’t able to get that day I’d offer mental enrichment such as lick mats, food puzzles, play, training, etc.

About: I had a small dog for over 10 years who was a beloved member of our family. She passed this previous winter and I wasn't able to be there because I was away at university. I want to make sure other pet parents feel secure that someone is there who genuinely cares for their pet. I also have two cats and a blue-tongued skink at my other house in southern California, and I've also had a scorpion and vinegaroon. I have a snake here with me in Arcata and I've cared for snakes since I was a young child. I've also petsat a bearded dragon. Cats and dogs are both fond of me, but I'm capable of caring for unique types of pets, as well! I'll be in Arcata the entire summer except for a week in early June, so if your usual university student sitter isn't around, I will be! I don't currently have a full-time job over the summer nor over the school year, so I'll be free to spend as much time with your pet as you desire or need. I don't have a yard, but if you need your pet to get some fresh air, I'm willing to take them wherever! I have a car that can fit your best friend if they like the beach, or the woods, or another fun spot that'll help them get exercise and stimulation while you're away.

About: Much of my animal experience comes from not only owning but also veterinary experience, grooming, daycare and volunteer work! About: I started pet-sitting in my adolescence and have continued pet-sitting for friends, family, neighbors, and roommates for over twenty years. I've cared for dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, lizards, snakes, fish, rabbits, and rodents. I've administered medication, cared for newborn animals, and have even had to safely evacuate two dogs and two kittens from a home this past summer where I was pet-sitting due to wildfire. If this is not an option, please still reach out and may be able to accommodate depending on the dates and length of stay. That said, my dog is playful and respects when other dogs are not in play-mode. She's happy to be around dogs of all ages.

About: I've been looking after dogs since I was a kid. I've always had dogs, I've worked for vets and for pet supply stores, and one side of my family is littered with vets and farm type folks. I have a ton of experience with all sorts of animals, but I love dogs the most. Right now I'm not doing anything else that requires me to be anywhere at any particular time, so I am incredibly flexible as far as scheduling goes. I live in an apartment with my 35 pound wonder mutt named Puck, and we're not allowed to have any animal guests, but I am more than willing to come to your place and follow your rules. Puck can also be left with a sitter if his presence would be an issue. I follow your directions and I care for your pets and your home as instructed. I am a fairly fastidious person. I believe in returning your place and your pets to you in at least as good a condition as I find them.
