About: I don't really have any special skills. We just love animals and we'd love to care for yours when needed. We can feed , walk , give medications , hug on and love your pets. I'm retired now and I don't have any recurring responsibilities so Im pretty much available, all the time. My daughter also lives here with me and she really , really , really loves animals. And she's excited that signing up for this , we can't wait. We have a large , three bedroom home with a den and fenced in backyard , and have a specific area in our den for animal care. We can set up whatever's needed depending on the animal and what their needs are.

Boarding price depends on animal(s)/services needed. We have chickens, ducks, turkeys, dogs and a couple cows on our property, if you have a dog, it must be okay being around these animals and a small child. Please reach out with any questions. We work all day on our permaculture farm and love having an extra dog or two around. Great place for a dog to enjoy running around in nature, a retreat for pets. I have a fenced in pasture available with covered area, or am happy to have your dog free roaming around the farm with a other pets.

I have owned dogs my entire life from puppies to older doggos and a wide variety of breeds and behaviors. Currently I own a great Pyrenese mix and an American staffy of my own. My dogs are very well trained and our yard has two compartments so the dogs will not interact if that is what you would like. A day in my house as a dog: released from kennel to the yard to have a morning romp around the nice fenced in yard. Having a great drink of water as I pass the auto watering station. (Depending on instructions) a morning feed and rest in the sun for roughly an hour then some interactive play and enrichment (time frame is dependent on weather conditions). Once your doggo is tired and ready to take a long nap we head inside where doggos usually lay in the open baby gate area (also compatible for large and XL dogs) or the kennel whichever they prefer. Roughly 1-2 hours later potty break and time outside durning this time is when I would bathe your puppy if requested. After a lovely bath a 15-30 min walk and enrichment. Once returned home the night time routine begins with a good romp around the yard, enrichment and then quiet time with dinner. About: I am a former dog trainer at Dog Gone Amazing training and boarding in Reno Nv for the past 4 and half years. I moved to Eureka to have a new start and would love to continue to work with animals. I’ve worked with many different breeds and many different temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own and a cat as well. I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals, such a horses, chickens, sled dogs and cats. I would love to continue working with new pets and their owners! I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. I’ve also worked as a kennel tech at a boarding/training facility and then moved on to become a trainer at that same facility. I always recommend crates for any situation but in my own home I would crate all dogs and rotate based on how they all get along. Feeding in the crate or separate from other animals. Daily walks or hikes depending on the animal. Cats would get daily enrichment. If weather doesn’t permit or the animal isn’t able to get that day I’d offer mental enrichment such as lick mats, food puzzles, play, training, etc.

This can include anything from daily snuggles on the couch, to walks around the neighborhood, play time in the back yard, or chasing lasers around inside. About: I've been looking after dogs since I was a kid. I've always had dogs, I've worked for vets and for pet supply stores, and one side of my family is littered with vets and farm type folks. I have a ton of experience with all sorts of animals, but I love dogs the most. Right now I'm not doing anything else that requires me to be anywhere at any particular time, so I am incredibly flexible as far as scheduling goes. I live in an apartment with my 35 pound wonder mutt named Puck, and we're not allowed to have any animal guests, but I am more than willing to come to your place and follow your rules. Puck can also be left with a sitter if his presence would be an issue. I follow your directions and I care for your pets and your home as instructed. I am a fairly fastidious person. I believe in returning your place and your pets to you in at least as good a condition as I find them.
