“We used Erica for house/pet sitting services over the course of 5 nights/6 days. She stayed with our 3 dogs on and off throughout the day, feed them, walked them and also stayed at night. Erica was awesome from start to finish. She was super flexible, came for an initial meet and greet and also came back a second time to visit and go over details, get keys, etc. She provided us with updates and pictures as requested and always replied quickly. We will definitely be using Erica again!”

“My cats warmed right up to Demi! It was a great peace of mind having her stay in my home with them so they wouldn't be bored or lonely with an empty house while I was away on a weekend trip. Demi was communicative and sent frequent updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Natalie was amazing! She took great care of the dogs, including a troublesome puppy, and was super respectful of the house, the schedule, and our time! She took the request last-minute which was great and she was flexible and experienced with handling my dogs’ varying energy levels. She also contacted me right away when there was an issue and handled it like a pro! Would definitely book again & recommend.”

About: Hi there furry friends! For the past years I have been taking care of our family Shih tzu, Chihuahua and Dachshunds loving pets! I am loving, caring, detail oriented and patient. I grew up with pets and comes natural to me to cuddle and snuggle! Love taking my furry friends for walks and play. I’m currently doing Rover full time. All my attention and focus is on my current and future furry friends and their pawrents. Making long term connections allows us to get to know each other better and cater to your preferences. I’m detail oriented, and like to have a meet and greet before taking care of your loving pets. Communication is key and going over your pets preferences is a base for your peace of mind while away from home. Sending updates and pictures to make you feel at ease is a must.

“Victoria was great with our dog! She watched her while we were at a wedding and was super accommodating and flexible with our timing, based on Bella’s energy, it was clear Victoria treated her well. She was really respectful of our home as well and I’d definitely call Victoria again to watch Bella in the future.”

“Ariena took fantastic care of our elderly lab for about a week, she was a wonderful house guest and most importantly made our pup feel like a million bucks! Ariena gave frequent updates and it was clear she really enjoyed spending time with our dog which felt so comforting. At the last minute our dog needed some complicated medication administered, ariena took care of that no problem. Ariena also has a great personality and is funny and kind. Highly recommend!!!”

“Fortunately for my cats and I, Justin was available to house sit due to an unexpected cancellation. It was a distressing time for me, but I felt reassured when Jistin arrived at the home and tended to the cats needs right away. I am grateful for Justin's prompt reply to my inquiries and professionalism.”

About: What sets me apart is the way I pay attention — to each animal’s individual needs, body language, routines, and comfort level. I grew up with both cats and dogs, so being around animals has always been natural to me. Over the years, I’ve learned to notice the little things: when a dog needs a break from stimulation, when a cat’s had enough attention, or when something seems off in their behavior. My goal is simple: to be someone you (and your pet) can rely on. I’m currently working full time. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and usually free on weekends. Happy to help spend time with the pets. In a client’s home, I aim to be a responsible and respectful guest. I follow their instructions closely, from feeding routines to walking schedules to medication needs. I also prioritize maintaining the pet’s usual environment and habits to minimize disruption. Whether it’s scooping litter boxes, refilling water bowls, or just keeping them company during the day, I treat each home and pet with care. Above all, I prioritize safety, trust, and empathy—so pets feel secure and pet parents feel confident while they’re away.

“Katie was a pleasure to work with! Our dog was well cared for, including looking after a last minute hurt paw and some extra effort to make dog food when there was a shortfall. She kept in very good touch about questions that came up, and sent some adorable pics of our puppy during her two-week stay. House was in great shape when we came back, including houseplants.”

“This is the second time we've had Inha dogsit for us and she's been fantastic both times. Our pups usually take a while to get accustomed to new people, but they both clearly really like Inha. She's also very communicative and responsive. Will hopefully have a chance to get her to sit our pups again!”

About: I am a responsible, empathetic, and dedicated dog caregiver, committed to animal well-being. I have experience handling dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I make sure every pet receives personalized attention, proper exercise, scheduled feeding, and plenty of affection while under my care. My key strengths include patience, keen observation of behavioral cues, and the ability to build a bond of trust with animals. I strictly follow the owner's instructions and maintain consistent communication to provide peace of mind and reliability. I currently work part-time, so I have time to share with your pet. I also have the support of my daughter and wife, who will make your pet feel at home. I have a fenced garden, my pet will be great company for your pet and my daughter's love for animals will make your pet's stay a pleasant and enjoyable place.

About: I’ve been an animal lover since I was about four years old, and caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. Over the years, I’ve raised and cared for a wide variety of animals—from chameleons, birds, and rabbits to cats and dogs of all sizes and breeds. I’ve grown up around larger breeds like Pitbulls, German Shepherds, and American Bulldogs, so I’m confident and comfortable handling strong, high-energy dogs just as much as more sensitive or exotic animals. What truly sets me apart is my hands-on experience with pets who have complex health needs. My sweet French Bulldog, Luna, has IVDD, GI sensitivities, seasonal allergies, recurrent UTIs, and has even battled sarcomas. Her care has taught me how to be deeply attentive, gentle, and proactive, and has inspired me to continually educate myself about animal health—from preventive care to chronic illness management. I’m experienced in giving medications, managing restricted diets, adapting physical routines, and keeping a close eye on subtle changes in behavior or comfort. I believe pets deserve to feel safe, understood, and loved, no matter what they’re going through. Even animals that are shy, stubborn, reactive, or hard to read tend to warm up to me—maybe because I meet them with patience, calm energy, and genuine love. Whether they’re high-energy or low-maintenance, I learn their rhythms and give them the care and attention they need to thrive. I’ve also worked with delicate animals like chameleons, who are highly sensitive to their environment and require a careful, knowledgeable approach. Whether your pet is furry, scaly, feathered, big, small, or somewhere in between—I’ve got the experience, heart, and adaptability to keep them happy, healthy, and stress-free. I’m also very reasonable, reliable, and responsive. I know how important it is to find someone you can fully trust with your pet. I’d be honored to give you peace of mind—and give your pet the attention, comfort, and fun they deserve while you get a well-earned break from being a full-time pet parent. 💛 Pet care fits naturally into my routine because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. I’m available weekends, and weekdays after 4:30 PM, with the exception of Tuesdays and Thursdays. Whether it’s a quick walk, a longer visit, or a few hours of play and care, I make sure each pet gets the time, attention, and affection they need. I plan ahead and stay flexible so I can offer dependable care, even on short notice when needed. When caring for pets—whether in my home or my client’s—I focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment tailored to each animal’s unique needs. I’m especially experienced in managing more complicated care routines, thanks to my day-to-day life with Luna, my Frenchie who has IVDD, GI sensitivities, recurrent UTIs, seasonal allergies, and a history of sarcomas. Her care has made me detail-oriented, patient, and highly attuned to subtle signs of discomfort or health changes. I follow all feeding, medication, and activity instructions carefully and make sure the environment is clean, secure, and free of hazards—especially for pets with mobility or health limitations. I respect your pet’s usual routine and maintain clear, consistent communication with owners so you feel informed and confident every step of the way. Building trust—with both pets and their people—is always my top priority, and I treat every animal with the same level of love and care I give my own.

“Francis was a fantastic sitter, providing high-attention care of both our pets and our house while we were away. He took careful notes, tracked medications, proved highly flexible with unexpected changes, and even managed to make quick friends with our elusive cats. Francis is the first sitter to interview us during the meet-and-greet, rather than the other way around. From the moment we met, we knew that Francis was a different kind of sitter. Francis is a caretaker. We strongly recommend Francis for your pet and house sitting needs.”

“Patricia did a great job! I needed her help on short notice to housesit with Khalid and Ari-Asha. We went through the instructions quickly, Patrica understood and followed them. She gave me updates on how my fur babies were doing and sent pictures. Ari-Asha and Khalid were happy and healthy when I returned home. And what a relief for me to come home after traveling and walk into a clean organized home. Thank you Patricia!”

About: I absolutely ❤️ animals and have "always" had pets in my life from the very beginning. I've cared for SO many different animals in my life; such as: dogs, cats, bunnies, turtles, fish, etc. Over my adult years, I've cared for friends and family members pets when needed. 5 years back, I took on the responsibility of caring for grandpa's dog due to his increasing illness. Bottom line, I love animals and want them all to get the love and attention that they want and deserve whether from their parent/parents or from myself in the short amount of time they grace us with in this world. I'm currently a freelancer, so I make my own schedule. Thus, I can move things around to better fit the needs of you and your fur babies if needed. Then, I don't travel much and can be there for those who do. Safety is of the utmost importance to me because it's what I'd want for all my babies, weather it's my 2 legged or my 4 legged child. I'd make sure things that may be harmful are always put up and put aways. Before walking, I'd make sure the area is safe and animals are always leashed up for the entire walk.

About: Since being overseas, I helped care for a wide variety of dogs, of plenty of sizes, breeds, ages and temperament. I pride myself on my willingness to work with your pet to find a connection that works for all of us. I am currently a student with my days typically free, as I schedule my work times on the weekends, so during the week pet care is a top priority. As long as I get a rundown of things you and your dog are comfortable with, I will be sure to stick to it. I strive to create and enriching and safe environment for your fur babies.

About: All animals tend to love me, I have not met a animal that has never liked me, even the most timid animals feel comfortability when come in contact with me I do online schooling, so dog walking would be the best side hussle to take on to earn that extra money on my own time. I care for pets like any other owner would, which is feeding, playing and walking. May even bathe them if they are needed after playing or walking

Reyna C.
“I wholeheartedly recommend Reyna C. for any pet sitting or dog walking opportunities. She is one of the most wholesome and compassionate people I know, and her love for animals runs deep. She doesn’t see pets as animals , she embraces them and treats them like family. Reyna goes above and beyond the typical responsibilities of a pet caregiver. She’s incredibly attentive, nurturing, and deeply in tune with what a dog might be feeling , whether it’s reading their body language, noticing sudden changes in their health, or simply making sure they feel safe and loved I never have to question if my Dog who I call my son is being taken care of . I know he’s in an angels hands if Reyna has him. Her ability to connect with pets on an emotional level is something truly special. I’ve seen firsthand how she cares for animals with patience, gentleness, and genuine joy. Anyone who trusts her with their furry family member will be gaining a caretaker who brings warmth, responsibility, and a big heart to everything she does.”

Southgate pet parents share their Rover experiences
Inga took great care of my two senior girls one of which has a few medical issues and requires medication 3 times a day. She sent updates with photos and I could see both dogs were being well cared for. Inga has such a bright and positive energy about her and it's evident that she loves dogs and they love her! I was able to enjoy my time away with zero concerns or worries. If you have senior dogs you know what a gift that is! I will definitely book with Inga again and I can't recommend her enough. Thank you Inga for taking such wonderful care of my girls!

Claudia is wonderful!! When I got home, the dogs were relaxed. For me, that's a sign of good pet sitting. They are comfortable with Claudia and her care. The pictures Claudia sent me showed that they were doing well. My dogs are getting older and need medication, which Claudia handled well. I will book her again!

America has been fantastic with our cat and dog. We have a greyhound who doesn’t do well when home alone for extended periods and America shows up on time which really helps. Both animals are very content when we come home so it’s clear their normal routines are being followed.

Felicia did a wonderful job taking care of my puppy Leroy on such short notice. She left me some toys that he absolutely adores and kept me updated throughout the weekend. She also gave me some great advice and feedback on some things she noticed about him and how I can take care of it.

These guys are great! I could tell they had good energy when they came over for a meet and greet before we left on our trip. We needed house/dog sitters and we returned to happy pups and a clean house. We enjoyed our trip knowing our fuzzy babies were safe and sound. They sent us pictures throughout the week and even washed the bed sheets so we didn't have to worry about cleaning when we arrived back home. It was a great experience with these guys and we will use them again for sure!

Trish is the absolute BEST. My cat felt absolutely comfortable and happy around her from the very start, which gave me priceless peace of mind while I was away. She sends daily photos and updates, and follows every instruction impeccably. I returned to a spotless apartment (and most importantly, my cat was well taken care of). She’s the perfect cat sitter!

Giana did an amazing job while I was away for seven days. I would definitely have her back again. My dogs and cats absolutely adored her and she kept me updated on a daily basis with photos and videos. I was initially worried about having someone stay at my home, but I had nothing to worry about. She took good care of my pets and my home. If I could give her more than 5 stars I definitely would!

Kan was great with my Kuma dog. He accepted my request which was a little last minute, and even though my dog who is becoming more senior (9 yrs), is not socialized well with people and is usually afraid of men, by the end of my trip, I could tell she absolutely loved him and would miss him when coming back to me. He was very flexible and allowed me to do a transition where she would stay at my place for a few nights and then he would bring her to his place once she became more used to him. I think it helped her with being less stressed in a new environment, and as I said, I think he was very patient and she felt she could trust him. I’m so grateful I could find such an understanding and patient dog sitter to look after Kuma while I was away. I also received such cute pictures of her!
