About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I have experience caring for pets for family and friends, and I also have dogs of my own that I care for daily. I’m very loving, patient, and reliable, and I always try to make pets feel comfortable and happy while their owners are away. Pet care fits well into my routine, and I have flexible availability throughout the week. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I’m available from 12 PM–3 PM due to school, but I always make time to provide pets with reliable, loving, and attentive care. I specialize in animal behavior and oversee behavioral enrichment programs in major zoological facilities. With my professional work, I am fluent in operant conditioning (training) by using positive reinforcement techniques. I am comfortable with senior and special needs dogs as well as puppies. I can administer medication, including injections, if needed. I work full time Tuesdays-Saturdays and am typically free after 3:30pm on most days and have full availability on most Sundays and Mondays. I am happy to try and work with my schedule to accommodate your pet's needs. Having worked with exotic and domestic animals for over 25+ years in a professional setting, safety is always my number one priority. The care, comfort, and wellbeing of your fur baby is of the utmost importance. I am flexible to work with your needs and preferences.

About: I have a lot of experience with reactive and high energy dogs! My own dog is a rescue with severe reactivity. Though I am not a trainer, I have a lot of experience training puppies and dogs as a foster parent. Whatever training guidelines you want to adhere to on our walks I can definitely accommodate. I can take your dogs on structured walks or hiking adventures depending on what they need. I am also an avid runner who used to run with dogs from the shelter before I got my own so if that’s something you’re interested in (If you’re dog is a good breed for it, and the temperature is good) I would love to! I am currently in school and doing infrequent freelance work so my schedule is very open, and I have more than enough time to give your dog the attention they deserve. I do not take clients at my house, as my own dog is reactive and anxious. But I can take care of your dog in their own space! I am comfortable giving medication, feeding, and keeping up training regimens. I have experience using a variety of training tools through my foster work. If your dog is reactive, I know how to keep my head on a swivel during walks so we can create distance, and I know what to do if a reaction occurs.
