9. Vanesa H.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. My dream job as a kid was to become a vet tech. I absolutely love all animals but dogs have my heart. I have a lot of experience with all types of dogs, big or small, male or female, sick, pregnant, in labor etc. I’ve taken care of sick dogs and brought them back to life before. I’ve assisted in female dogs going through labor 3 times and helped take care of newborn puppies. I currently have rescue that is 1 years old. She is a chihuahua mix. I rescued her when she was only 3 weeks old from Baja Ca. I bottle fed her until she was able to eat solids she is now a very healthy and happy girl. I have a lot of experience potty training pups as well. But like my headline says, no dog is too big or small! I can handle all 🥰🐕🦺🐕🦮 I am a SAHM and have 7 hours of the day to myself while my son is at school. I’d love to use that time to do something I really enjoy. I have a fenced yard, my landlord allows me to babysit dogs as well. I have a dog myself who I care for and is very friendly with other dogs.
10. Dennise R.
“We love Dennise! She is the only person we trust with our doggies. We have a high maintenance dog that has very specific things we need due to his compulsion to eat everything and needing a person who is sweet yet stern and Dennise was able to take it on like a champ! She is so helpful and even sends us sweet photos of our dogs especially on over nights to give us peace of mind. You can’t go wrong with Dennise!”
11. Tammy S.
“Tammy is such a doll! I recently had surgery so I’m not able to take Ace on his daily walks sometimes and I usually have help. I was referred from a friend and I’m glad I went thru with it. She’s the sweetest person and Ace absolutely loves her.”
12. Ava F.
About: Hi! My name is Ava and I’ve had dogs since I can remember. My family has always been a dog family and now my boyfriend and I have two of our own! We are currently training our 4 month old chihuahua / mini pin puppy Bonnie who is just an absolute ball of energy and we have our senior dog Lucy who is enjoying her retirement by lounging and napping. Bonnie would love to play with any pup that has enough patience for her puppy energy! Lucy on the other hand will be continuing her lounging in our front house because she likes her alone time. I have open availability right now since I’m between jobs. My boyfriend works full time but will be home some of the days as well. I’m very flexible but also have my own two pups to care for so I’m more than willing to work out times that are most convenient! Safety is my biggest priority. I know how unsettling it is leaving your pup with someone new. I personally have used rover for my 4 month old pup and I was so nervous but everyone we’ve worked with treats her like their own and I will do exactly that. We have a fenced in front yard with turf and toys galore! We have small dogs so any gaps or escape points are blocked. I’m a spoiler too so get ready for pics of our couch cuddle sessions and sunbathing on the turf! I’m big on communication and updates so my phone is always close to me ready for pics and/or if you need to contact me.
13. Montserrat M.
“Montse goes above and beyond when it comes to walking dogs. She will pick them up, take them to dog parks, regular parks, beach walks and she will even take them to get treats for them. She really cares for our furry friends like they were their own. I would definitely highly recommend her.”
14. Gracie A.
“Gracie came thru in a pinch for a last minute walk with Zulu, and she got my happy pup all settled in with her dinner Kong too.”
15. Viviana L.
“Viviana is a responsible pet caretaker. I have seen her take care of family pets for several weeks at a time. She feeds, walks, bathe and spends time with them. She pays attention to each pet's personality and is careful and follows bathing, feeding, sleep based on owner's guidelines and instructions. Her residence has a wall and fenced-in yard. She is careful, kind and loving towards all pets.”
16. Michael & Pamela B.
About: Living in beautiful San Diego with my wife and son, I continue to provide exceptional care for pets, ensuring they feel at home while their owners are away. The approach is simple: shower pets with all the love and attention they need, just like we would with our own furry family members. What sets us apart is our family-oriented approach to pet sitting. With my wife and son as my partners in care, we create a warm and welcoming environment for pets, making them feel like part of our family. Our goal is to provide a loving and comfortable experience for pets, giving them the attention and care they deserve. Together, we offer a unique blend of experience, compassion, and dedication that ensures pets are happy and content in our care. As a self-employed individual working from home, my daily and weekly routine is flexible, allowing me to dedicate ample time to pet care. I prioritize the well-being of our furry friends, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve. Pet care routine is woven seamlessly daily, with scheduled feeding and playtime. Balancing pet care with my responsibilities to my son, wife, and art is a top priority. I have structured the daily routine to accommodate the needs of the dogs while also allowing time for work and family activities. Whether it's taking breaks throughout the day for a quick walk or spending quality time with our pets in the evening, I make sure they are well cared for and feel like part of the family. In my home, pets are treated like family and have full access to our amazing yard. They can lounge in the sun, explore the garden, or play to their heart's content in our secure outdoor space. Inside, they have a cozy spot to rest and plenty of toys to keep them entertained. Routine is tailored to each dog's needs and may include regular feeding times, outdoor play sessions, and lots of love and attention. When caring for pets in a client's home, I aim to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for them. I make use of any outdoor space available, whether it's a backyard, patio, or garden, to ensure pets have the opportunity to get fresh air and exercise. Routine is customized based on each dog's needs and may include outdoor playtime and lots of interaction to keep them happy and engaged. We also ensure their indoor space is clean, cozy, and secure, so they feel right at home while their owners are away.

19. Gloria E.
“Gloria is a reliable, compassionate, pet owner and has more than general knowledge to care for her own animals and others. In the case of an emergency I have witnessed her as calm, cool and collected. Always ready with great solution to any problem.”
20. Yutzil Z.
About: I volunteered at San Diego Humane Society for about six months cleaning crates, making treats, reading for dogs and other activities. I grew up with my dog Tyson who passed away about a year ago and the house does not feel the same. He was a really active, energetic dog and his energy is missed. I used to take care of him and now I have been taking care of my friend's dogs. Gissmo is the pet I take care of the most and I have been training him since he used to have an aggressive behavior toward strangers. I currently just finished the last semester of the school year and I moved from San Marcos so I quit my job. I am looking to do this job full time if possible, maybe get a regular job on weekends but as of now, I am available all day everyday. I have a big yard that we are working on to strengthen the fence so I would prefer to work with yard dogs or small dogs for the inside of the house. There are no kids in this house, just two teenagers who are never home which might be perfect if your dog does not do well with strangers.
