“Jeffrey was amazing! He arrived on time, kept me posted on the dog while I went to work and is very clearly an animal lover. Leaving a pet is tough and he made it so much easier. I really appreciated his attitude and work ethic. Thank you so much! Do not hesitate to trust your pet with him.”

“Randy was extremely professional and accommodating. Stella takes awhile to warm up to people and I think (in her way) she took to Randy. I always hate leaving Stella so the pictures were greatly appreciated.”

“Aly was absolutely amazing! She stayed at my house to watch my dog, Meatball. She was extremely responsive and sent a lot of pictures of my sweet girl! She gave her so much attention and love when I was gone. It took so much stress away knowing she was in good hands. 1000000% will be using her again to watch Meatball! I’ve already recommended her to friends and family as well.”

“Kelsey was truly fantastic. Her communication is top notch and we felt completely comfortable leaving her with our dogs. The dogs clearly loved her, and Kelsey loved on them as if they were her own dogs. Looking forward to having Kelsey stay with our dogs again!”

“Gus, Marian, Ollie and family welcomed Boone into their home for a five-night stay. Ollie was a wonderful playmate and mentor, and Gus and Marian and family gave 3mo. old Boone lots of guidance and consistent reinforcement. This was our first time at a host family, and Rover.com was a wonderful experience...I will definitely use them again!”

“Nicole was great with cider, took her for a walk and spent time with her on our night out. Would definitely book again!”

“Taa is an excellent sitter - I have a puppy who because he's young needs a little extra TLC and guidance, since he is working on his manners. But she was great with him and accommodating. She was also on time and communicative, both of which I really appreciate. Would definitely recommend and hire again!”

About: Growing up in wild and wonderful West Virginia, I worked on a family farm and took care of friend’s and family’s pets. So it was natural that I developed an affection for animals. I fell in love with my own dog, a Labrador Retriever, at 16 and named him Bucks! I’ve taken care of many different types of animals besides cats and dogs, such as Guinea pigs, chickens, iguanas, sugar gliders and more! In recent years, I was employed in a dog boarding and training facility called ‘The Happy Retriever.’ Then I was able to gain more pet care experience working for another pet sitting business named ‘Heart and Paws Pet Sitting.’ I am presently a proud member of Pet Sitters International, thru which I have completed Pet First Aid & CPR training and have ongoing education in pet care! Sunday - Saturday I’m the proud business owner of AJF Pet Sitting and I am a full time pet sitter! I love all the furry friends I get to make in all sizes and continue my pet behavior and wellness education so I can provide the best care possible! I keep my visits with your pets as close to their usual routine as possible and I treat them as you would! Sometimes a different route for a walk is a good thing and builds confidence in your pet! It all depends on your pet’s needs and everyone’s comfort! I would like to see your pet be healthy and self confident! I am insured and bonded as to protect all parties and scheduling meet and greets before any services is the best way we can go over the routine and build trust with you and your pet!

About: I have always loved dogs, and even though I never owned one I find myself looking up facts, life hacks, tips, and tricks about dog ownership on occasion and would love to own one someday. I often dogsit for both of my aunts, one dog is a fairly young Shih-Poo and the other is an old, kinda cranky cairn terrier who I enjoy looking after. I love all breeds of dog and often pet other peoples dogs if I see them when I'm out and about. Even though I love to pet dogs I understand that some dogs don't like strangers and accept that fact but would prefer to work with friendly dogs. I have a flexible schedule and alot of energy to spare to walk and interact with your dog! I’m working full time most mornings so I can take a dog out for a quick potty early in the day and then again when I come back I love to cuddle and play with animals, I get along with animals better than I do people. I will treat your animal like it were my own

“Jessica took care of our 2 year old golden retriever for a weekend and treated him as if he was her own! She even spoiled him by taking him on a hike nearby.”

“Dakota saved us at the last second when our regular rover sitter was taken and we couldn’t find anyone for our long vacation. She showed up on time for the meet and greet and was so pleasant and friendly; our dog Grafton took right to her. She had great communication and left the house spotless. Thanks so much Dakota!”

“Hallie was great! Super nice and accommodating and good with my puppy, who does a lot of puppy things. Would recommend & book with her again!”

“Margaret was amazing! She took such good care of my babie and sent pictures as well!! I would 100% book with Margaret again!”

About: I have years of experience with dog walking and sitting. I love playing with dogs and I happen to have a dog of my own who loves to play, if you’re looking for social opportunities for your pet. My experience includes taking care of their everyday needs such as walking and feeding them! I also have experience with teaching dogs some tricks and bathing them as needed. I always want to keep the dog entertained! I have a doggy board game I can play with them as well, which teaches them obeying skills in a fun way! Everyday as I care for my own! I definitely have room to care for more animals. The more the merrier! It’s a natural part of my life now! - walking (picking up after the dog) - feeding - bathing - playing (I have a doggy board game)! - minor training - social interactions (with other dogs)

About: I have been a lover of animals and people since I was a little girl. What sets me apart from your average animal care or home sitting person is my 20 plus years in the hospitality industry. My attention and level of care for detail is impeccable. I understand each family and animal is different and may need different levels of care. I have been an exec assistant to CEO’s and GM’d hotels and restaurants. I went to school for psychology and have a deep understanding of people and animals. I have patience that can last lifetimes and I am very respectful and responsible with peoples personal and private information. I have experience working with big and small animals, children, elderly care and home care. I have no fear when it comes to a fussy animal and have been known to be helpful in calming them when needed. And I live for giving animals the unconditional love they give us. I would imagine doing this on a part time to full time bases and work with the clients schedules to the best of my abilities and be flexible. My level of care for animals goes as far as you yourself would. When they are in my charge they are my family. Playtime, walks, enrichment through human interactions for younger and finicky animals, overnights, trainings, appointments, puppy play dates, working with animals that may have any health issues and adapting to their needs for best quality of life while the animal owner isn’t around.

About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life! Have had 2 golden retrievers, living until 16 and 14 years old! Have taken care of friends dogs as well when they’ve gone away! I will inquire about where in your home your pet is allowed and follow all your rules (ex not allowed on furniture).
