About: Hi! I will be attending college in August for a biology/pre-veterinary degree. After owning pets my entire life, such as 1 dog, 2 cats, fish, mice, and a hedgehog, I am well-versed in all kinds of animals. However, I specialize in senior care or animals with disabilities since a few of my own pets suffer from chronic illnesses. Additionally, I have the necessary time and patience to look after very young animals who require constant attention and interaction. Furthermore, I have pet-sitting experience after pet-sitting for my neighbors for years. My passion for animals and skill set makes me an excellent candidate, thank you! Since this is a summer job, I will be doing this as often as possible with full availability with the exception of June 11-14th and a few other days in June that have not yet been secured. I will be able to take the animal on multiple walks a day as well as playing with the animal as often as needed. Additionally, any medical requirements or medications is something I can certainly handle.

“Straightforward and did what was asked”

Christine was quick to respond to our inquiries, and left thorough notes for each visit. We highly recommend Christine to anyone who needs pet care assistance.”

“Very trustworthy and communicative, and my cat absolutely LOVED hanging out with her! I will definitely be rebooking next time I go out of town!”

About: Growing up I had a St. Bernard. She was my best friend, I then started dog sitting for friends and family, I was the go to! After moving out between my roommates and I we had 5 dogs and I loved and cared for them as if they were all my own. I don’t believe in intimidation or scare tactics. I believe in letting the dog lead the way in the relationship to build trust. I think kind, consistent interactions with animals builds the best bonds. I have a dog, Astrid, and a cat, Frank. Everyday they are fed, played with and loved on. At least twice a week they get brushed. They are also groomed often and I make sure to keep their food bowls and pet beds clean. Trust is built when you let the animal lead the way. Forcing them to do something will only regress their trust in you. Everything should be consensual. Paying attention to an animals body language will tell me when to give them space or it will invite me in to give them belly rubs or extra treats (if permitted).

“Taylor is just the BEST! Nasty can be shy at times, but the photos she sent me they were having a blast! Taylor is now my go to trusted sitter for my kitty cat!”

About: I’ve been taking care of small dogs on Rover for two years now and before that, watched my friends for years. I only keep one family’s dog(s) at a time so your baby will be the guest of honor. I truly love each dog I sit like they’re my own since I don’t have my own pets. I also have watched several senior dogs. I have work from home flexibility and am home 2-4 days a week for the majority of the day. I also live about 5 minutes from my job and am able to head home mid-day for walks as needed. I have a small home with no other pets or children. Your pet will have a cozy and quiet home with no one else distracting from the attention. My neighborhood has lots of sidewalks and natural areas for outdoor walks.

“She did an excellent job! We really appreciate the fact she was able to help us last minute. We will definitely be asking for her help on a regular basis.”

“Our dog Gus loved being visited by Laura! She was very communicative and took great pictures of Gus and shared lots of information about what they got up to. Would highly recommend that she cares for your pets!”

“Sadie is our awesome next-door neighbor, and she’s been our go-to cat sitter for years anytime we head out of town. She adores our cats—like, truly looooooooves them—and the feeling is mutual. Sometimes she even asks to stop by just to hang out with them when we’re home, which says a lot about how much she genuinely enjoys their company (and vice versa!). Sadie is incredibly smart, super dependable, and has a calm, gentle way with animals that makes her a natural caregiver. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to trust her with even the most sensitive or high-maintenance pets. We’re so lucky to have her close by—she’s part of our extended furry family!”
