About: I live alone with no pets but miss having my own. I do travel and play golf so I don't want to own a pet at the moment but I miss having a dog or cat around. I have a flexible schedule and even better is your pet likes to ride in the car for short errands or a trip to the lake or the park. About: I grew up on a farm where I was surrounded by large animals like cattle and horses, which gave me a deep appreciation for working with animals from a young age. My passion for animal care led me to become a veterinary technician, where I spent several years working in a large animal hospital. During this time, I gained extensive experience handling various animals, assisting in surgeries, administering medications, and providing routine care. I also have a 7-year-old German Shepherd named Nala. These experiences have strengthened my skills in animal health and care, and I truly enjoy working with animals of all sizes. I currently work from home so will have plenty of time to walk and play with animals - I have short days Thursdays and often get out early Fridays,and am off on weekends! About: All of my first experiences were because the owners saw how much I adored their pet(s)! My very first job was when I was in elementary school. I would stop-in with my neighbors black lab, Maddie, every Tuesday and Thursday when I got off the school bus. Since then I have pet sat for numerous neighbors, family, coworkers, friends, and friends of friends! I am experienced, reliable, and have a genuine love for all animals. As a longtime sitter, I have been thrilled to now use an app like Rover to broaden my reach as a sitter to clients I otherwise might not have met! I work full time managing events in Scarborough. My schedule is normally 7am-1pm with Thursdays and Fridays off, unless there is an event! I also work weddings from noon to midnights just about every Saturday in June, September and October. Usually I ask that a note is left letting me know your pets usual routine, where your pets things are kept, feeding instructions & portions, any medications needing to be administered, plants you need watered, what day trash day is, and any other note about your pet(s) or house I should know. About: I have taken care of several family and friends dogs all varying in breeds, sizes, and activity levels. I have an 8 year old rescued lab mix and I love any opportunity to spend time with animals. I am a full time teacher looking for some work this summer. I am available most days of the week any time and some weekends (my rover schedule is up to date). I am happy to let your dogs out and play with them if you have a fenced in yard or take them on walks around the neighborhood. I am a relatively active person and I am willing to make my walks/ play time as long or short as your dog(s) would like! My services will be based off of you and your furry friends needs!

I prefer to utilize choice-based care methods and allow your animal to be an active participant in their own care. I currently care for, work with, and personally train cats and reptiles. I work part time and am available some afternoons/evenings to spoil your critters! I usually can respond on the some day. Currently only doing drop-in visits. I strive for choice-based and fear-free interactions with all critters. My hope is to gain the trust of your animal and work with them using least intrusive, minimally aversive methods during non-emergencies.
