About: I have owned dogs my whole life, and currently have a pug and a chiweenie! I love caring for dogs and helping families out. I can do anything a normal pet owner can do! I currently am a full time law school student and teach dance, but there will almost always be someone with your fury friend throughout their entire stay to take them out, refill their water, and play with them. I have a gated yard, a nice walking neighborhood, and I very flexible, just ask! I will always give your babies all the same love as our own dogs! You babies will never be alone for more than 3 hours at a time. I a very flexible and can do anything just need to ask and confirm. I am organized and even though I a busy, we can plan and fit things in that work for you! I love taking my doggies on walks. I don’t care about animals being on any furniture and are allowed anywhere in the house! Your dog(s) will never be left alone more than 3 hours at a time. I am home frequently between my schedule to walk, take the dogs out, and feed them. I let your doggies play with ours and cuddle whenever. I have dog beds and a couch, everything is gated and I will never take a doggie out without a leash.

About: Raised in the deep mountains of Montana, I have been surrounded by animals since infancy and grew up with a deep rooted sense of empathy and love for all creatures. In addition to the classic cats and dogs, my sister and I had a childhood filled with bunnies, ducklings, fish, turtles, hedgehogs, birds, horses, mules, and plenty of wildlife to keep things exciting! I have been taking care of pets for nearly my entire life, and am extensively experienced in feeding, walking, bathing, and administering medicine for most household pets. Mainly dogs, cats, and smaller rodents, rabbits, and birds. I spent the last several years administering medicine to my late dog, Tango, upwards of three times daily. So I am very recently experienced in taking care of animal with a requirement for lot's of special attention and caregiving. I have also raised 3 puppies with my family in the last 5 years so I’m freshly prepped for little ones. I am the perfect match for you and your pet. I am a responsible, clean, and caring tenant for house sitting. I have house and pet sat for many friends and family with stays as long as two weeks. Dogs give us the gift of joy every day, and I would be so excited to bring a little extra joy to your pets life! Be it by stopping by for a half hour to say hello and play, or making them feel safe and secure while their owner is away. Currently, I am working from home and have wide availability. I am willing to commute a certain distance for pet care, and would require access to cell service and WiFi in the case of a long-term stay. I live in the center of Missoula and have fast and easy access to many dog parks and walking trails in the area. I have a large fenced in yard to run and play in. I typically avoid more popular dog parks, but am happy to take your furry friend to any of their favorite spots upon request. I have a large vehicle to transport pets to longer hiking destinations or parks.

About: I'm new to Rover and looking to provide walking and/or day care for dogs. Also available for short or long walks in the 'hood. Dogs have "owned" me my entire life and I have provided dog care occasionally for hire since a kid. I seek to do more of that. I'm a grown-up human, extremely honest, reliable, and responsible. I am fully retired and enjoy the company of a dog during daily walks and hikes around Missoula. If the dog is tired, it's been a good day. Our household is currently without a dog after the loss of our 16-1/2 year-old retriever mix. Life is better with a dog. I am currently offering extended in-home day dog sitting, but likely to expand into overnight service with established dog-walking clients. We have a very dog-friendly home with fenced front and back yards. Stay tuned for an update on drop-off dog care at my home in the future.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Central Florida with a focus on animal behavior and am currently pursuing a PhD in Ecology and Evolution, studying mammals. I have spent a lot of time learning positive reinforcement training methods and value ethical training and treatment of our four-legged family members. I have also been an animal foster care volunteer on and off for over ten years. I have fostered dogs, cats, and kittens at the SPCA of Brevard, Brevard Humane Society, and the South Animal Care Center (County Shelter). I have cared for and trained dogs of friends and neighbors for years and have been training my own dog, Rona, since I adopted her in early 2020. I am in graduate school at the University of Montana and am very flexible during the summer to meet you and your pet's needs. I can accommodate nearly all times of day within the Missoula city limits. I am able to keep your dogs exercised and will do my best to meet their needs and keep to the schedule they are used to in order to prevent stress while you are away from them. About: I grew up with 3 dogs and a cat and have raised two puppy’s and a kitten. I have taken care of all kinds of pets while family and friends are away on vacation and would love to meet yours too! I am a 3 sport athlete at the university who is very energetic and active, so I would be willing and able to give your pets all the exercise they need. I am able to watch pets at your home, overnight, or board them at my place. I rarely leave Missoula and have availability all summer. I have one friendly cat at home who gets along well with other pets. However, upon request I can easily keep separated from your pets! If visiting your home I will respect the place and can easily take care of any extra tasks you might need while away.

About: I believe that all living things have a soul, and I have a particular soft spot and fondness for animal souls. Having a naturally present, grounding and loving nature, animals and I tend to form reciprocally caring bonds with one another. I love being outside (in all-weather patterns!), sharing in fresh air and movement with animals. I also love snuggling up and giving special attention to those missing their parents. I have raised several of my own animals, from 3 kittens through adulthood, a labrador retriever from 7 weeks to 11 years, a bunny for 7 years and a ball python for 2 years. I am very comfortable and familiar with caring for animals at all the different life stages, including administering medications. I just recently lost my little sidekick and soul mate, Josie (the lab mentioned above) and Im not quite ready to get another. However, I have found that Im able to nourish that grief stricken void with caring for others animals. Having a companion by my side, whether its to go out for a hike, to follow me into the kitchen or to relax on the couch is a connection that is really beautiful and one I want to continue having. I have also been house sitting, cleaning and providing managing service to the community for the past 2 years. I recently stepped away from a successful career to spend time aligning my life to what is truly fulfilling to me. I have found that having a local impact, being a good neighbor and supporting others around me has meant more to my daily life than working for a high powered corporation. I want to continue to live in a more intentional and generous way, and house sitting and pet caretaking has really helped me navigate what's truly meaningful in my mid-life. Because of my generative approach to life, I offer very affordable sliding scale fees so that everyone can have access to quality pet care while spending time away. I left my corporate career about a year and a half ago to pursue a life where giving back to those around me, being a part of the every day lives of those in my community, finding beauty in simplicity and living in the present moment. One of the ways I am doing this is through pet/house sitting. I will treat your home as if it is my own, and I also have an LLC for elder care, house sitting/cleaning and pet care, to provide an additional sense of security and professionalism. About: We have a sign in our house that says it all: this house owned and operated solely for the comfort and convenience of our dog. I've spent my entire life around dogs as my family and friends often had dogs in the house. My husband, Gabe, and I have had 3 dogs over the last 10+ years and currently have an only child named Archer! We are very attentive, loving, nurturing and love a good doggie cuddle session. We've cared for our friends dogs off and on over the past several years and have also fostered dogs with animal rescues. We are very familiar with the care of rescue dogs - especially skittish ones - and comfortable with commands and reinforcing any training (we have rescued and adored our own very skittish dog). Myself or Gabe will be around most of the day/evening and we have a large fenced back and front yard for the dogs to enjoy. Our dogs go outside many times a day... we don't keep track but we rarely turn them down when they stare longingly at the door. We let them explore till they come back to the door or we call them in! The same would be true for your dog - almost unlimited outside time! We will follow the instructions you give to a "T" and will enforce any rules you have at your house at our own. We will happily walk dogs who stay with us (if leash trained) and exercise in the yard with any dogs who love chase or fetch! We feel comfortable administering medications as needed (no injections). Alyssa works full time from home and Gabe works part time with flexible hours. One of us will be around the majority of the day. We are very flexible on needs of our clients within our schedule. We have a fenced yard and two fur children of our own to keep yours company. We care for our dogs as if they are our children (they are!) and will treat your pets like our own.
