About: I love taking walks with dogs, even just around the neighborhood. I’ve had pets all my life, including puppies up through senior dogs. I have experience with basic pet first aid. I can come by your house a few times a day for potty breaks and walks. I give lots of pets and cuddles. Puppies are also welcome. You’ll get pictures with each visit and an update on how it went. I’m flexible with when I can come check on your babies. If you need feedings done as well during these visits, just let me know. I know how stressful it can be worrying if your pups are being taken care of so I do everything I can to make you and them feel relaxed. I own 2 dogs, a senior beagle and a young mixed breed. I understand how dogs all require unique care. My work schedule is flexible so I have a lot of flexibility as to when I’m able to come spend time with your pet! I make sure to know the exact care your pet will need. I also make sure I’m familiar with how they walk on a leash or handle going out for walks or no playing.

About: I’ve been caring for animals of all types since I was a child; they have always been a very integral part of my life. Growing up with dogs and cats taught me responsibility, patience and gave me a deep understanding of the bond that forms between humans and their pets. Throughout the years, I’ve cared for animals of all sizes and temperaments, learning to understand their needs and subtle ways they communicate. In more recent years, I’ve branched out to care for all kinds of furry exotics. So in addition to dogs and cats, I have experience with hamsters, rats, rabbits and ferrets! For me, looking after animals isn’t just a task, it’s a passion rooted in years of experience and love. I currently work full time nights, so I have a lot of spare time to play with your pets during your working hours! :) I am available for walks and drop ins 11am to 6pm Monday through Friday. I understand that every pet owner has specific preferences and routines for their pets. I will always discuss your priorities with you, at length, before the first walk or home drop in. I always aim to make the pets I work with as comfortable as possible.

About: Raised in the deep mountains of Montana, I have been surrounded by animals since infancy and grew up with a deep rooted sense of empathy and love for all creatures. In addition to the classic dogs, my sister and I had a childhood filled with bunnies, ducklings, fish, turtles, hedgehogs, birds, horses, mules, and plenty of wildlife to keep things exciting! I have been taking care of pets for nearly my entire life, and am extensively experienced in feeding, walking, bathing, and administering medicine for most household pets. Mainly dogs, smaller rodents, rabbits, and birds. I spent the last several years administering medicine to my late dog, Tango, upwards of three times daily. So I am very recently experienced in taking care of animals with a requirement for lot's of special attention and caregiving. I have also raised 3 puppies with my family in the last 5 years so I’m freshly prepped for little ones. I am the perfect match for you and your pet. ***CAN NOT HOUSE SIT PROPERTY WITH CATS - VERY ALLERGIC**** Dogs give us the gift of joy every day, and I would be so excited to bring a little extra joy to your pets life! Be it by stopping by for a half hour to say hello and play, or making them feel safe and secure while their owner is away. Currently, I am working from home and have wide availability. I am willing to commute a certain distance for pet care, and would require access to cell service and WiFi in the case of a long-term stay. I live in the center of Missoula and have fast and easy access to many dog parks and walking trails in the area. I have a large fenced in yard to run and play in. I typically avoid more popular dog parks, but am happy to take your furry friend to any of their favorite spots upon request. I have a large vehicle to transport pets to longer hiking destinations or parks.

“My blood sister rescue pups Jewel and Ruby came back tired after Syrah walked them, which is good! Jewel warmed up to Syrah right away, but Ruby, who is deaf, took a little longer to trust someone other than me. I appreciate Syrah’s timeliness, friendliness and attention to detail because they are both special-needs pups. I also appreciate the photos and map of the walking route, plus the potty record.”

“Alexis arrived each time on time. Always prompt. She is courteous and my dog gets along with her perfectly. I appreciate the way she used the Rover app to map the walk, with actions of my dog. Much appreciated. Storm and us thank you Alexis.”

I meet you and your pet where you're at!

About: I first started in pet care while living on a military base internationally, where many of my neighbors required flexible and dependable care for a wide range of animals. I have watched pets of all ages for up to months at a time, and nothing makes me happier than making a new furry friend. I am currently on summer break from school and have limited commitments, leaving the vast majority of my schedule open to looking after pets, with it being extremely flexible. I always want to be able to provide the pet’s owner with accurate and up to date information as often as I can, and pay close attention to their pets condition in order to do so.

“She is great!”

About: I currently work from home and can manage my own schedule to be attentive to your dog. I have a three-year-old German Shepherd/Border Collie mix who loves to play with friends. If your pet prefers to chill inside, my house is well loved by my own dog and my three sons. Your pup can make themselves right at home on the furniture or play in the fenced yard. I enjoy any excuse to go on a walk and look forward to taking your fur baby with me. Your pet can count on as much fun or relaxation as they need. Pet care fits seamlessly into my schedule. I work from home so if I am here, your pet can be too. My advanced notice for booking requests is to be fair to you. I do occasionally need to be gone to take a kid to the dentist or shuttle someone to soccer practice. If your pup likes car rides, they’re welcome to tag along! Feel free to ask my availability even if it’s short notice. I’m a great improviser! I tend to leave extensive notes for anyone who cares for my pet when I’m gone so I completely understand if you have a long list of things to share about how to best care for yours too. No request is silly. No detail is insignificant. My home environment is pet friendly with a fenced yard and vigilant observation. Pets are part of the family and should be provided that same level of love and attention. I would prefer to have a meet & greet prior to any first service, but it isn't required.

9. Lucy P.
“Lucy has been a lifesaver for me and my dog, Tango. I work as a diver in Washington State and live in Montana. My work on boats does not allow me to take Tango. Tango, a Korelian Bear Dog, is wonderful but very difficult to handle. She does not play well with others. Lucy has taken care of her over the years as a puppy into old age. Lucy has been her caretaker in old age providing ambulatory assistance and administering medications. Lucy has provided excellent care and I’ve never worried about Tango’s welfare in her care. I would highly recommend her for taking care of your best friend.”

13. Allison B.
“Allie is an incredibly kind, responsible, patient and loving person. She is very reliable and timely, I've never known her to be late - in fact she prioritizes her time well and often arrives 10 minutes early. She is a great communicator. She loves her family's dog and our friend's dogs well and I'm confident she would provide excellent pet care for others.”

14. Anne P.
“I have known Anne to be a responsible and dedicated pet owner. She not only is a cat owner but also a volunteer at the SPCA. She has spent many hours as dog walker form them. She has experience with several different dog breeds and behaviors. I have known her to stay calm when the dog she is walking was excited, fearful, or aggressive.
