I have done dog sitting, cat sitting, as well as dog walking. About: As a dogmom at heart, I want you to know that I'm here for your dog's needs, of course, and *also yours* as pup papa or dog mama. I'm not here to just "drop in" or walk as many dogs as possible to boost my bottom line - I'm here to show up for *your* fur bubbies with as much time and attention as you, yourself, give to them. If your pup needs exercise, we'll go for long walks or local hikes. If your pup needs sitting, I won't just pop in at the end of the night to let them out to pee before bed; I'll be there *with them* to play and cuddle, sending you updates, photos, and video so you can share in the memories with us. 🌱 Any questions? Don't hesitate to ask! I want you to feel calm and confident that your little love is with the best person for their needs, and yours. With a private massage therapy business, I have tons of flexibility to be available for your fur baby (or babies), and with a convenient location in Snowmass Village, I don't need a lot of notice to book (or cancel) - 2 hours tops! 🌱 Over my life, I've cared for dogs of all sizes - from yorkies to danes - with all kinds of silly personalities and special needs. I'm comfortable with "difficult" dogs (or shall we say 'quirky'), so whether you have a dog with quirks or we come across one who does, your bub (or bubette) is in capable hands. I have this friend who loves to tell me: "Anytime Cal is around you he's always so relaxed and it's clear how safe he feels with you!" In my care, you'll experience the same - coming home to your pet to find he or she has been loved on and well tended to - which you'll already know anyway with the updates you'll have received from me :) And while I'm not a certified dog trainer, I have lots of experience with the basics, and can introduce / will uphold consistency with any commands or cues you and your dog are already familiar with.

About: I have taken care of pets since I moved back to CO and love to get back to helping out families and their pets too. I am currently working part time. My job allows breaks to run home if need be and if not dogs are welcome at my work place. I don’t have a yard but love walking or going to the park. I am willing to stay at a client’s home as well too.

“Danica is THE BEST dog-sitter!! My pup tends to get stressed when I’m away, and this was the first time he seemed truly calm and happy while I was away! She took great, loving care of my dog, kept me updated, took fabulous care of my home, washed all used towels and bedding without being asked, and even left goodies for me and my kids upon our return!! Moreover, she was a perfect fit because she was able to commit to most of every day being company for my dog, which is invaluable. Thank you Danica!! Will definitely hire you again :)”

About: I absolutely love spending time with animals and making sure they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away. Only one pet family I will be hosting at any time, with my lovely 3yrs old Old English Sheepdog. Your furry family members will be in safe, loving hands! I work from home, and do walks all the time through out the day. A large unfenced area for your furry family to enjoy, for at least twice a day. Your furry baby will be on leash when going out, unless there is no other pet in the area at the playground. When staying at home, he/she will be free staying, unless there is sign of unfriendly actions in between your baby and mine. In that case, he/she will have a large fenced area to stay at, and take turns with my pet for free staying every other hour or so.

“Jake was very attentive to our dogs for 2 weeks while we were traveling. He communicated often and sent photos and videos that put us at ease. He walked and played with our fur babies a lot. Highly recommended!”

Anthony B.
“Anthony is my pet’s absolute favorite! He has been taking care of our dog and cat for years and I trust him more than any sitter we have ever had. Even my grumpy cat who hates most people seems to love him. He also had always done a great job with my high maintenance dog that requires tons of medications throughout the day. We always feel confident leaving our pets and home in Anthony’s care. Couldn’t recommend him enough!”

Lynn S.
“Lynn cared for my dog for about a month and she was very attentive to his needs, whether he was up fir a walk or feeling tired and just needing cuddles and attention. You can tell Lynn really loves animals and I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in her care knowing he was going to not only be happy with her but that he would be in good hands.”

Finn D.
“I can’t recommend Finn enough as a dog walker! Ever since Finn started walking my dog, Beau, I’ve noticed such a positive change. Finn is super reliable, always on time, and clearly loves dogs. They really take the time to get to know each dog, making sure the walks are fun and suited to their energy levels. Beau always comes back from walks with Finn looking happy and tired out. It’s obvious that Finn does more than just walk the dogs—they really care about them. If you need a trustworthy and enthusiastic dog walker, Finn is the one to go to. Your dog will be in great hands!”

Snowmass pet parents share their Rover experiences
Amanda was amazing. Leica immediately connected with her and was even happy to walk away with her vs usually she won’t leave me. While I was skiing Amanda took Leica for walks all over Snowmass letting her interact with people which is her favorite thing. Sending me photos and videos. I stopped skiing to have lunch at Elk Camp When I finished and walked to get my skis I had a great surprise. Amanda had brought Leica up the gondola (she had asked me if that was okay) and there the two of them were, surrounded by people who wanted to pet her. 😁 At the end of the day, Leica definitely didn’t want Amanda to leave.
