“Willow had a great weekend with Megan! She came home happy and tired. Megan was great at communication, very quick at responding and sending photos. She also handled all of Willows quirks well!”

“Michael is a very nice person who took in my 2 small dogs last minute while we were visiting Glenwood Springs for a family weekend getaway. My dogs were stressed out staying at a hotel and I needed to find a sitter fast. Michael greeted us outside of his very nice community located right near the Colorado river. He was very welcoming and patient and gave excellent care to my dogs. He followed all of my care instructions and my pups were happy and wagging when I picked them up. I would highly recommend him to watch your pets!”

“Suzanne lives in a beautiful mountain location with plenty of hiking paths nearby. I could tell Pepe felt relaxed during his stay and he hopes to visit again. I highly recommend Suzanne.”

“Amy was professional and on time. They were highly attentive to my dog. I received consistent updates and photos. The communication kept me at ease. The entire boarding stay went smoothly.I highly recommend their services.”

“Charlotte was so great with our dog. He is usually very wary of new people, but he warmed up to Charlotte and the others in the house quickly and easily. I would definitely feel great about leaving him in her care again.”

“We needed someone to keep our dog for the night while we went to a concert in Vail. Lola was so happy at Erin’s with both of her pups, lots of walks, a big fenced yard, and another rover pup to play with. We are so thankful and would absolutely use Erin to watch Lola again in the future.”

“We’ve had wonderful experiences boarding our dog with Katie and Ryan. They are communicative, kind and willing to accommodate our dog’s medication schedule. We received regular updates and photos, and it’s clear our dog was happy and well-cared for in their care. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi there! I'm a former special education teacher and a lifelong animal lover who believes every pet deserves patience, understanding, and lots of love. I have a senior cat and a French bulldog with mobility issues of my own. As a former special education teacher who worked with students with significant support needs, I've developed a calm, compassionate approach and plenty of patience—skills that translate surprisingly well to pet care! I'm currently working at a groomer’s in Edwards hoping to learn the trade. Therefore I am comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes, abilities, personalities and age. This includes seniors, puppies, reactive, shy, or high-energy, and I enjoy taking the time to build trust at their pace. I am also very skilled in behavior modification so I am capable and willing to follow any puppy training protocols as well. I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. Expect plenty of belly rubs, playtime, and photo updates along the way. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! My work schedule is pretty flexible so I can let them out in the morning and be home at a reasonable time to let them out. I am single and older so I am home more often to spend time with them and treat them like my own. I have a very mellow frenchie of my own to keep them company. He loves having friends. My pets are my babies and I will treat yours the same way. As a teacher who worked with children with significant support needs, I am patient, flexible, understanding, responsible and believe in establishing trusting relationships with students, fur friends, and owners.

“Kirsten (and family) were great for our dogs! They gave them plenty of love and took them on walks. We greatly appreciated the pictures, letting us know they were settling in ok. Our two large dogs can be a bit to handle, but Kirsten was great! Thanks again!”

“Jessica did an amazing job watching Ziggy! The photos she sent put me at ease knowing Ziggy was okay. I would highly recommend Jessica for dog boarding! We will be using her again when we leave town!”

“Laurie and her family were absolutely wonderful! I could tell that my husky Rocky felt right at home and was treated well when I picked him up. He got lots of exercise and attention, and was definitely a satisfied pup when I picked him up. I highly recommend Laurie and her family for taking care of your dog!”

About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for both dogs and cats, and I understand that every animal has unique needs, personalities, and routines. I’ve worked with pets of many different temperaments, behavioral challenges, and health conditions, so I’m comfortable adapting my care to ensure each pet feels safe, understood, and well cared for. I approach every sitting opportunity with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism, while also providing genuine love, patience, and attention. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or requires extra care, I strive to create a positive and comfortable experience for both you and your pet. I am currently working in healthcare Monday-Friday 7am-4pm so weekdays are best for evening sitting or boarding pets that can handle being alone for that time. I am completely free on the weekends. I am an early riser and love to get out and enjoy the sunshine with a pet but am happy to stay close to home for pet needs. I do prefer to walk on leash as I don’t have a fenced in area and do like to ensure safety of the pets I care for and others around. There is a fenced in dog park a short walk from my apartment to let dogs run off leash if approved by owner. I don’t have any pets in my home so if I am to sit at my residence the pet would be in a secure and private environment. I keep a clean and safe household for all types of pets. I also am respectful and receptive to all household and pet needs on an individual basis.
“They are amazing dog sitters and the reason we could enjoy the great hikes in Aspen. Lucky had a great time with them. Thank you so much for accommodating our schedules.”
“Lu is amazing. He really cares about making sure your dog will be happy in his care and for that reason he met with me and my sweet Ruby multiple times prior to booking to ensure it would be a good fit. Ruby can be a little anxious when our family is not around. Lu saw that and took extra special care of her. He even let her sleep with him despite her snoring :) Lu cared for Ruby for one week and shared photos and sweet stories everyday. I felt totally comfortable and relieved knowing that Ruby was getting longs walks and trips to the park each day. I will definitely ask Lu to take care of Ruby again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Snowmass
My dog Ackee was basically at dog summer camp while staying with Melanie. Ackee is super energetic and Melanie took her on multiple hikes and walks day. Melanie sent me many sweet photos of Ackee playing in streams and out on gorgeous hikes. I knew she was in good hands! When I Ackee up she was happy and also exhausted. I would love for Ackee to stay with Melanie next time I’m in Aspen!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
