“Bradley did a great job following the instructions during the visits with detail. I was impressed with how he handled my dog being over 100 pounds by establishing himself as a friendly presence before interactions. Highly recommend this young man for future opportunities.”

“Heather is truly amazing, she gave my anxious pup time to warm up to her and eventually he had no choice but to love her! Her updates are excellent, personable and funny, I knew my pup was being well cared for and loved while I was away- she really went above and beyond 💕”

“Jessica was great with my 6 pets on a recent weekend. She was very responsive, sent me photos, communicated with me daily and was successful at getting 1 of my dogs with dementia to go outside for her. Would recommend.”

About: I have been taking care of my neighbors, family, friends, and my own dog/pets for 10 years including walks, feeding, watching, and helping train. I have experience with puppies and older dogs as well as injured or sick dogs. I am currently in a local college for health care. I am free all day Saturday-Monday and after 3 Tuesday-Friday. I have transportation and can drive a reasonable distance. I would follow any rules you have set for your dog (ex. food allowed, walking requirements, type of leash/collar for walks, and if they need to be crated or not) I would be able and willing to provide any medical care needed as long as I am shown how to correctly.

“I highly recommend Jenny, she was fantastic with our new puppy. I needed a drop in visit during the day while I work, Jenny was was great. She picked up and replaced pee pads, played with our little one and sent pics. I had so much anxiety leaving our precious little one, Jenny helped relieve my worries! Many thanks!!”

“Natasha is always very great with my pup! My pup was being difficult about putting the harness on and she stayed a little extra to ensure she was taken care of. Thank you Natasha!”

About: My first cat was way back in 1992 when a pregnant cat adopted me. She lived in the apartment next door with 4 other cats, a single Mom and 2 little girls. She would visit my apartment daily, also scoping me out, because she had future plans. Soon after I was the proud Human Step-Mom to Mama cat and her 5 kittens. That started my love for the feline species. I've always owned and loved dogs since my childhood. My first dog's name was Rusty, a smart and gorgeous Golden Retriever. I had tanks full of fish, multiple birds (Peanut could talk-he was a Green Cheek Conure), and often cared for my daughters ferret, Franklin, when she went on vacations. No pets are off limit ..... except snakes and spiders. Willing to administer meds. Currently I am doing pet care full time so I am available just about 24/7. I do have pets at home so I would need to take some time to attend to their needs during the day as well. I currently have both a dog and cat living with me so care outside of my home is preferable. I'm available almost all day and can stop in whenever necessary.

“Thank you Erica! We appreciated all your communication and updates! The kitties were very well cared for when we got home and happy to see us! We travel often and plan to use you again!”

“Sydney is the best! She is extremely helpful, professional and attentive to my dog's needs. She is always on time and thorough with her visits. Couldn't ask for a better sitter!”

About: I’m a Dog-lover who has spare time for you pup.I love to travel, but hate to leave my pets, so I understand what you need when you travel you need to trust that your pet is safe and loved. All dogs deserve respect and kindness from a trustworthy person while you are unavailable. I currently have 3 dogs. We love be full time in Daytona Beach and occasionally visit family in NYS. Enjoy your travels; your dog will be in good hands. I work 3 days/week. I am available most of the the other days, including weekends. Walking, playing and companionship available for your dog. Enjoy your travel! In my home we stay with no Other pets or people . In your home, I will visit as requested and follow any instructions given.

About: I have previously worked at a cat shelter (approx 250-300 cats), I have been a cat owner consistently for 21 years, I have sat a “zoo” before ~ dogs, cats, birds, a frog, fish, etc. I love to spend quality time with pets, not just a quick 5 minute drop in. I will happily rub their belly on top of feeding them. I have never, ever met a cat that didn’t like me! Typically the complete opposite & they end up adoring me. 😅 I work full time during the day til 5:00 and am remote 3 days a week (mon, tues, fri), with a compressed workweek that makes it possible to have every other Friday off. M-F I could do an evening visit only, and on days off (every other Friday or weekends) I could do one visit in the morning & one in the evening. Thanks to summer hours at my FT job I am available after 1pm every Thursday through August 28th. My cats are spoiled ~ there’s 2 litter boxes, 2 wet food dishes, 2 areas with dry crunchy food, and a water fountain. They get Churu’s or treats every once in awhile. I keep the floors clean so they don’t find some random thing to chew on. So needless to say I would treat your cat like royalty pretty much. 😊

About: From big to small I've cared for them all. From feeding, to medicating, cleaning, and simple grooming of my own personal pets; I've gotten to experience the highs and the messy parts of owning, caring, and loving pets. You want to go away for the weekend? Let them have some fun with Ozzy and I. They get to run around 0.5 acres fully fenced in! Need someone to just stop by and take them for a walk while you're away for the weekend or have to work night shift? No problem, I've got plenty of experience with various harnesses so rest assured they will be secured the way you like them to be for their walks. Dogs: I work during the week, but happy to spend my weekend giving your pup the VIP treatment while your away! With me weekends start Friday evening and go until Sunday night! Need someone to just stop by and take them for a walk? No problem, I match energy with doggy energy! *Dod boarding is only available on select weekends* Cats: cats that board will get a room to themselves, away from my own pets so they cat feel comfortable relaxing and doing their own thing. They will get twice a day loving, litter box cleaning, and long term boarders (1 month+) will get monthly nail trimming at no extra charge! **Boarding for Cats and small pets can happen any time of the week, and I can accommodate extended stays** Other small and furry friends: I've personally had gerbils, mice, hamsters, parakeets, and guinea pigs so I'm happy to board them too. Dogs: I've got a 0.5 Acre fenced in yard for them to run around in and a 70lb super friendly puppy named Ozzy they can play with. Happy to also crate them for their own peace of mind during those times when they just need "me time" to feel safe. Drop in walks will be 1:1, unless they (Ozzy and your pup ) are well established friends. For safety, I will check to ensure your pup can slip through the fence bars first before they are allowed off leash. Cats: they get a room to themselves away from my pets for their and your own peace of mind. If you want them to have outside time I have a in closed kitty stroller too!

“It was our cockatiel's first time being cared for by a sitter and Lynne did an amazing job providing us with updates and being attentive to our baby's needs. Our bird is normally very wary and mistrusting of strangers but she seemed already friendly with Lynne by the end of the week! I would trust Lynne to watch over her again”

About: Hello! My name is Jackie, I’m a recent college grad from the Albany area. I love working with animals, I’ve been dog and cat sitting for neighbors for the last decade or so (drop in visits, feeding, walks, playing, etc.). Along with neighborhood work, I’ve been volunteering at German Shepherd Rescue of New York on and off for 8 years, where I met my boy Zeke! I also worked as a dog washer and doggy daycare worker as a summer job in high school, where I had the pleasure of meeting and working with so many pups. As of right now, I’m working Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays from 8AM-4PM, but I am more than willing to do pet care before or after my shift starts! All other days, my schedule is completely open. Because of my own dog, Zeke, I can’t keep any other animals at my house, but I’m more than happy to take care of them at your place! I always make sure that the animals I take care of are comfortable with me and feel safe around me, especially in their own space.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the lifetime of experience I bring to every pet I care for. I grew up in a home filled with both cats and dogs, so understanding animal behavior, communication, and comfort has always been second nature to me. I treat each pet like family—patient, attentive, and genuinely in tune with their needs. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who loves walks or a shy dog who just needs quiet companionship, I adjust my care to fit their personality. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel truly at home. I am currently on summer break so I have plenty of free time to take care of your pets! Since I also work my summer job, the times that work best for me are in the mornings and evenings. My approach to pet care is all about creating a calm, safe, and familiar environment—whether in my home or yours. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and personality so I can provide thoughtful, individualized care while their owner is away.
