About: Over the course of my childhood my parents have been teaching me the proper way to care for not just people, but of course, our pets as well. After a while, tending to our pets was no longer so much a task for me as it was for my siblings. About: While I've never owned a cat myself, I've had plenty of hands-on experience caring for them. In college, my roommate had a tuxedo cat named Chubs, and I loved helping care for him. With a little patience (and plenty of treats!), I even taught him to give his paw. Throughout high school, I also regularly cat-sat for a family friend's cats whenever they traveled. About: I’ve had my own animals, both cats and dogs (mainly cats) since I was 6 years old. I’ve had to administer insulin before to my diabetic cat that has since passed. My experience with dogs are mainly of the bigger size (I had a pitbull/boxer mix and a pure bred chow chow). I’m currently working as a Direct Support Professional overnights 9pm-9am Thursday through Saturday (technically Sunday 9am). So I’m pretty open for picking up last minute gigs if needed. I have worked hard to familiarize myself with signs of distress and discomfort in animals, and if anything doesn’t look right I will not hesitate to jump into action to make sure your pet is safe. My dog has had a few scary incidents, and as difficult as it was, it helped to prepare me to know the signs when something is not right and know what to do in case of an emergency. I decided to join rover because I wanted the opportunity to help take care and hangout with animals on a regular basis because it is truly something I absolutely love. I am hard working, enthusiastic, dedicated, and I will care for your pet as if it is my own. Currently, I offer services within the clients home for walks or check ins with your pet. I am very flexible, and will work with you to get to know what routine works best for your pet. At this time due to a family members allergy, I am not able to offer boarding services in my home.
About: Hello my name is Emily and I have been with dogs my entire life. I had a big dog named Lucy and a small dog named Oliver, which I love very dearly. I have taken care of many different dogs from big to small and have enjoyed playing, walking, and teaching them tricks. I have baby sat here and there whenever I was needed and it would always bring a smile to my face. My family and I are huge dog lovers. I think what sets me apart from other dog sitters is that I would rather spend more time with them then do other things. About: Over the course of my childhood my parents have been teaching me the proper way to care for not just people, but of course, our pets as well. After a while, tending to our pets was no longer so much a task for me as it was for my siblings. Taking care of and spending time with animals in general became something I still enjoy doing to this day, and as far as I know, will be one of my favorite things to do forever. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little. Right now I am a professional dog bather at Petsmart and I’ve just always had a special place for dogs in my heart. I’m working part-time as a Professional dog bather so I don’t work every single day, probably only 3/4 days out of the week, so i’m pretty open to watch dogs. I have 2 dogs myself. I have a fenced area for them to run around in as I also live next to a big field that I can let them run around in as well. I always give my doggies treats and bones because they deserve all the love and cuddles.
