“Lori is excellent! Our energetic golden retriever stayed with Lori for a week. She greeted us at the door and allowed us to settle him in before we left for a week. She has a great, comfortable space for dogs, including a large fenced in yard. She has a friendly dog and was sure to introduce them slowly and safely. She made sure Louie was safe, even removing stuffed toys he might ingest. She takes the dogs for walks, including the dog park. She was a great communicator and even sent pics of the dogs playing. She also gave Louie a bath before we picked him up! We will definitely use Lori again. Couldn’t recommend her more.”

“Brigid was perfect for my older dog Scout. She is very loving and attentive. Scout seemed very content with Brigid, who kept me updated with photos and videos. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter for Scout.”

“Alyson was wonderful! She was very patient with my dogs, even when they got nervous and peed on her floor. They quickly warmed up to her and her dog, and from the photos she sent, it was obvious they were having a great time. I will definitely rebook with Alyson.”

“Samantha and her partner were absolutely amazing. They are the best sitters I have met by far. I 10000/10 recommend. Samantha updated me throughout my dog's stay. I will definitely rebook.”

“We could not be more pleased with our experience using Marisa as a dog sitter! She was friendly and professional and clearly loves taking care of dogs. Her response time is always quick and she sent us daily pictures during Bear Bear's 5 night stay. Simply by seeing the pics we could tell that Bear was in good hands! We will be using Marisa again and again since we travel a lot. We highly recommend Marisa V!”
“Chelsea and Christopher were amazing sitters. As soon as we met we were given a tour of the house, which was the perfect environment for our pup. They were extremely friendly and sent many pictures throughout the stay. Maple was in such a good mood afterwards and we could tell she had a fantastic time. We will definitely be returning customers :)”

“This was Rosie’s second time stay and she once again had a great time! She looked like she was having a ton of fun in running around in the backyard from all of the regular photo updates provided during her stay!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, and cats. I’ve managed households with up to 5 dogs at once, including large breeds like German Shepherds, so I’m comfortable handling high-energy and strong dogs. I also have a dog of my own and three cats, so I understand daily care, behavior, and attention pets need to feel safe and happy. I’m reliable, attentive, and experienced with feeding, walking, and general care for multiple animals at once. I’m currently a student with a flexible daily schedule. I have a break in my day from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, which is perfect for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I’m also available before and after classes, and I can be flexible on weekends depending on your pet’s needs. I keep pets safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I follow your instructions closely and make sure dogs get regular walks and attention, even without a yard.
“I really cannot say enough about how amazing Patty is! She was super flexible when it came to our boy Atlas when I was pregnant and still sent daily updates! I will never leave Atlas with anyone else!”

“Vera was the perfect dog sitter for our Pixel. She sent great updates and pictures throughout our trip to make us feel comfortable and show us that Pixel was having a great time. She is very thorough and asks all the right questions (even the ones that we forgot). Highly recommend Vera for all your doggy needs!”

About: I’m a certified dog trainer with 30 years of experience and have helped thousands of dogs—from puppies to seniors. Your dog will never go home with worse manners after staying with me! Every pup gets one-on-one attention, enrichment, and plenty of daily playtime. I’m home the majority of the week, which means your dog gets lots of company, cuddles, and care! I’m happy to board your sweet pup anytime you need me. I’ve got a fully fenced yard and a goofy young playmate who loves making new dog friends! Your pup will enjoy tons of zoomies, sniffing, and social fun. At night, everyone snoozes safely in their crates—but don’t worry, I’m always on “midnight potty duty” for puppies and seniors who need a quick outing!
“(I have a BullyMix) Jayla is great! Warm personality can see she is caring and my pup will be in great hands and he was!! This was my first time and my pups first of staying overnight and overall with someone he doesn't know. She shared pictures and updates and accommodated my delay in schedule. He seemed happy and at ease! Thank you will be booking again.”

“Kaitlyn was amazing! She helped us out when we were in a pinch and needed dog sitting for a weekend with only one days notice! We had never had Lucy boarded anywhere before and we were a bit nervous about the process, but it went so smoothly! She sent pictures to reassure my kiddos she was being well taken care of! I would definitely recommend her services and will be using her again for dog sitting in the future!”

“Amy was wonderful with our puppy! She took great care of him and kept us updated during the stay. It’s such a comfort knowing he was in good hands. We’ll definitely book with her again.”

“Alex was WONDERFUL! He went above and beyond to take care of my 70lb foster puppy, Sony. Took him on long walks and to the dog park ?. He was also super helpful when I couldn’t get the crate into my car. He went above and beyond by picking up the crate and the pup at my apartment. Sony was so happy and relaxed when he got back home. I will definitely book with Alex again.”

“Kimberly was so kind to take Toby my 19-lb Havenese dog very last minute! I have a bad wrist fracture and was not able to take care of him properly. She took such great care of him with only hours’ notice. I will definitely use her services again!”

About: 🐾 I’m absolutely obsessed with cats—and honestly, that’s the biggest reason I’m here. Rover isn’t just a side thing for me… I genuinely love spending time with cats and getting to know all their unique personalities. At home, I care for three cats of my own, so I understand everything from playtime energy to quiet, independent moods. I’m also known locally as a stray cat feeder and caretaker, and I always keep cat food in my car—because you truly never know when a hungry kitty might need help. Caring for animals isn’t something I “turn on”—it’s just part of who I am every day. While cats are my specialty, I’ve recently been spending more time around dogs as well and have become increasingly comfortable and confident with them. I’m patient, attentive, and quick to adapt to different temperaments, whether your pet is energetic, shy, or somewhere in between. When you trust me with your pet, you’re getting someone who is: ✔️ Reliable & responsive ✔️ Gentle, patient, and detail-oriented ✔️ Experienced with multiple-cat households ✔️ Truly passionate about animal care I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own—with love, respect, and close attention to their needs. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, medication, or just keeping them company, I’ve got it covered. I’m also very flexible and able to travel, so feel free to reach out with whatever you need—I’m happy to make it work!! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine. I recently bought a house here in Albany, so it’s just me and my studies now — which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to devote to caring for your cats. As a law student, my classes are only on Mondays and Wednesdays, so the rest of the week I’m fully available to spend quality time making sure your cat (or cats!) get the love, attention, and care they need. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping your cat’s routine consistent and stress-free. That means fresh food and water on schedule, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime and affection — whether that’s cuddles, brushing, or just quiet company if your cat prefers space. I always make sure to respect your home, follow your instructions closely, and send regular updates so you know your pet is happy and safe. If I’m welcoming a cat into my own home, I create a calm, cozy environment with safe spaces for them to explore or retreat to, depending on their personality. I treat every cat as if they were my own — with patience, attentiveness, and lots of love.

“Jenny was so responsive in her communication with us about Winnie care. She was kind and was so nice to our new puppy! Winnie had a great time and we will definitely be contacting her in the future!”

“Nina has been pet sitting our two cats for a few years now. She is reliable, caring, and trustworthy. One of our cats (Laika) has a hard time warming up to people and most visitors to our home never even get to see her. However, Laika decided to accept Nina and not only came out of hiding for food but sought out love and attention. Our other cat (Rapunzel) was depressed and missed us a lot this last trip. Nina went out of her way to make sure Rapunzel ate and and had some attention. Nina is the best pet sitter I have ever had.”

“Alicia took great care of my cat. She took a lot of pictures and left detailed updates for every check in which made me feel so much better about leaving my baby!”

“Despite snowy conditions, Heather made it over to take care of my cats through the Christas holiday! She also patiently worked through one of my cat’s less friendly behavior.”

“Caiti was a amazing pet sitter for our kitties! We only needed her to feed them for one day but she made the process so easy. She is great with communication and even sent us pictures of our cats! It was a very nice surprise. I highly recommend her to care for your pets while you are away. Thanks again, Caiti! We really appreciate your service. ??”

“Bradley was the perfect pet sitter. He was communicative and responsive and treated my home with respect. He sent frequent updates and pictures of my cat. He even helped out when the cat went missing unexpectedly, offering to look for him and lending a cat carrier. I will be using Bradley again for sure and I recommend you use him for your pet needs too!”

“Merissa and Nick are the best pet sitters I have ever had, because they care and go above and beyond!! Besides the very helpful daily updates on my cat’s food, drink, litter box usage and general behavior, they sent me some of the greatest photos and videos of Hodge, many showing them playing with my very social fur baby. When I returned home after a 10-day trip, the house was immaculate and my mail and newspapers were neatly piled up on the kitchen counter. I knew that with Merissa and Nick my cat was getting the best care possible and was very happy, which gave me complete peace of mind to enjoy my vacation.”

“Erica was incredibly flexible, transparent, and a wonderful caretaker for our two cats. She made sure to play with them every visit and provide numerous photos of the cats during each visit. She even made sure one of our cats got the medication they needed twice a day. I would gladly ask Erica to take care of our little guys again.”

It is important to keep your pets as comfortable as possible. I am attentive to any special instructions regarding medication or diet. “This was my first time using Rover and, remarkably, my first time leaving my dog Maddy with someone in their house, and not my own. Lori was wonderful! She answered all my questions before the day, and answered so promptly too. Maddy and Lori's dog Rees were very compatible, even though Rees is much bigger than Maddy. When I came to pick up my dog, Lori said Maddy missed me and was a bit subdued, but that's to be expected for the first time. Maddy was perfectly fine, and happy to see me when I came to pick her up. I will be booking with Lori and Rees again. Practice makes perfect!”

“Simba had a great time with his new friends. Watching him going on a trail and having so much fun was really amazing. Thank you Patrick & Sara for taking care of Simba.”

Then we settle in for breakfast time, all dogs rest 30 minutes prior to meals, 30 minutes to eat, then followed by another 30-60 minutes to digest. This helps prevent bloat( while any size dog CAN bloat--most often occurs in larger/deep chested breeds, but I take no chances). “With both me and my boyfriend working in healthcare and having crazy schedules, we decided to get a puppy. Then our work schedules got flipped and we were panicking on what to do with little man while we both had to work Christmas Eve and day and 12hr shifts. Then came a Christmas miracle, Kaitlyn and her amazing family watched over little Apollo. I was so nervous as this was my first time using Rover and I was unsure about the legitimacy, but Kaitlyn had great reviews and went above and beyond to make Apollo feel welcomed in her home and. She stuck to his feeding and training plan, tuckered him out with tons of play and made sure to update me with adorable pictures throughout the day! If you have a chance to book with her I would say absolutely do it, I would trust her with a human child!!”

“MaryEllen was all I could have asked for and more to watch my little girl Nala! She was kind, easy to work with, responsive, and thoughtful! She went above and beyond to make Nala feel at home and welcome! I will absolutely ask her to watch Nala again!”

“I am so grateful to Kim for watching my dog for daycare. Tuna had a great time hanging out with resident pup, Bella; they ran around in the enclosed back patio and she got to hang outside on the deck which is her favorite pastime while waiting for me to pick her up after work. Kim's son took her on multiple walks each day, including first thing in the morning which gave me peace of mind and made our morning that much easier. I could tell Tuna liked spending the day there which is super important to me; we'd love to be a repeat client due to our positive experience!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover all my life❤️ I have been catsitting and dog walking since I was around 13 years old! I bring a calm, attentive, and nurturing presence to every pet I care for. I have experience caring for both energetic young pets who need structure and consistency, as well as senior pets who benefit from a gentler pace and close monitoring. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering oral medications if needed (I have 3 cats and 2 of them require medications themselves so I already do this daily!) and maintaining routines so your pet feels safe and secure while you’re away. I’ll keep you updated with thoughtful check-ins, photos, and honest updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in capable hands. I work full time from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. I am available for dog walks and drop-in visits before 7:30 AM and anytime after 2:30 PM on weekdays. I’m also available on weekends with advance notice. I strive to be flexible when possible and am happy to discuss specific scheduling needs to ensure your pet receives consistent, reliable care. I provide attentive, reliable care for pets in the comfort of their own home. I understand how important it is for animals to stay in their familiar environment and maintain their usual routine while you’re away. During drop-in visits, I can let your dog out for bathroom breaks, provide fresh food and water, administer oral medications if needed, and ensure they get appropriate exercise and playtime. I’m also comfortable crating dogs when required and following any specific household or training routines you have in place. For cats and other pets, I handle litter box cleaning, feeding and companionship tailored to their personality and comfort level. I always aim to leave your home just as I found it and will send detailed updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

“Glenn and Diana’s care of my big dog has been such a weight off my shoulders. He has some special needs and they didn’t hesitate to help. Also so appreciative of the questions they ask and how much they care!”

About: Hello my name is Emily and I have been with dogs my entire life. I had a big dog named Lucy and a small dog named Oliver, which I love very dearly. I have taken care of many different dogs from big to small and have enjoyed playing, walking, and teaching them tricks. I have baby sat here and there whenever I was needed and it would always bring a smile to my face. My family and I are huge dog lovers. I think what sets me apart from other dog sitters is that I would rather spend more time with them then do other things. I love walking with them and showing them everything that there is to see in a dogs point of view.
About: I have years of experience taking care of my dog who is dog reactive, extremely energetic, occasionally resource guards, etc. I also have experienced going through professional training with said dog. I also have experience taking care of my senior medical needs cat. My schedule is very flexible. I have to give my own cat her medication each morning and night, however that is my only schedule perimeter. I am available most days of the week and weekend except for a select couple weekends this summer. My availability ends mid August. I care for the animals I am in charge of with acute attention. These pets are peoples loved ones, their furry children, and I don’t take that lightly. They deserve love, attention, engagement, and a safe environment for them to succeed in.
About: I have great experience with all types of animals in all ranges of age and necessities. I have worked at a barn as well as volunteer at my local animal shelter. I also grew up fostering puppies and kittens as young as days old. I have multiple pets of my own and they are my whole world, I treat any animal with the same level of respect. I work part time but my schedule is very flexible with an enough time in advance. I am free pretty much all day on weekends and most consistently after 3 on weekdays. However my schedule does shift and I am an early riser so I can make most other times work. I currently do not offer home services in my personal house. At a clients home I will listen to whatever instructions are given and keep everything as similar as possible for overnight and drop-in visits to help keep stress levels down for your animal.
About: I have 9+ years of experience with walking dogs, and years of experience in feeding, training, playing, and caring for both dogs and cats. My entire life I have always been drawn to animals, and am a huge animal lover! In my early teen years, I worked at a dog daycare where I oversaw the care of up to 14 dogs at one time. It was a huge responsibility, but I looked forward to going to work each shift I had because to me it didn’t even feel like work, it felt like a reward getting to care and play with so many animals. Whenever I go anywhere whether it’s a walk around my college campus, a family or friends house, or the park, I am always immediately drawn to all the dogs I see and always ask if I can take a minute to pet each dog. A multitude of family and friends have consistently told me that it’s evident how much I love animals, and how well I get along with them. I am someone you can trust to make sure your pet gets the best possible care when you are gone. As a former cat owner and current dog owner myself, I know just how much love and care pets need on a day to day basis. Whenever I am away from my dog who is my bestfriend in the whole world, I definitely can feel anxious or stressed. I am dedicated to keeping pet parents up to date on the wellbeing of your pets with photos, videos, up to date messages and anything else you’d like as a pet parent (I am happy to do facetime calls too!!). I will always be available and reachable when I am with your pet to answer any questions, concerns, or even just send over some extra photos if you are really missing your furry companion! Additionally, your pets wellbeing and safety is my top priority. I have worked hard to familiarize myself with signs of distress and discomfort in animals, and if anything doesn’t look right I will not hesitate to jump into action to make sure your pet is safe. My dog has had a few scary incidents, and as difficult as it was, it helped to prepare me to know the signs when something is not right and know what to do in case of an emergency. I decided to join rover because I wanted the opportunity to help take care and hangout with animals on a regular basis because it is truly something I absolutely love. I am hard working, enthusiastic, dedicated, and I will care for your pet as if it is my own. I hope you will consider entrusting me to care for such a valuable member of your family! • * Please note I require meet and greets with all potential pet clients BEFORE bookings!* I am currently a full time college student, so I have lots of extra time to care for your furry companion. I am very flexible, and when I am not in classes or other school commitments I have a very open schedule to care for your pet! Currently, I offer services within the clients home for walks or check ins with your pet. I am very flexible, and will work with you to get to know what routine works best for your pet. At this time due to a family members allergy, I am not able to offer boarding services in my home.
About: Our home and land is doggy paradise! We have time, space, plus two friendly pups of our own that'll make your dog's stay great. We’ve been caring for pups for years, we’ll make sure your friend is cared for and comfortable. Our property really feels like a doggy summer camp. We have acres and acres of land that we mosey around most of the day between naps on the porch and mealtimes. Your dog will never be left at home alone, as both of us are able to build our schedules around our animal care. Our dogs are super friendly and easy going with all kinds of dogs. They’ve lived with all sorts of breeds, sizes, and ages over the course of their young lives. They’ll be your buddy's best friend, or give him/her space if that's what they like. We can play, walk, hike, tinker around the property, or just kick back and relax so that your best friend can have a home away from home while you're at peace of mind. We are dog people! Thanks for considering We’ve got all the time in the world for your pet! Our schedules allow us to be there full time for your furry friend, and give them whatever care they need. We have a crew of regulars who rotate throughout the week, and all get along beautifully. We never take two new dogs at once, so we can be sure everyone is friendly and can fit in with our furry family. With us, your pet can get any quirky needs met. Whether it’s walks and hikes, or snuggles on the couch, we’ve got it taken care of. So that pick ups and drop offs are smooth, efficient and pleasant, we bring our dogs inside just prior to transitions. With that said, timing and punctuality are important to us that everyone has a great time, all of the time. Our schedules are generally wide open and one of us is always home, so we’d prefer you’d be hours late where we know as soon as you do, versus 15-20 minutes behind schedule without our awareness. This keeps our anticipation & transition windows short so everyone can have as much freedom as our space allows. Our phones are always on and active, so we’re never difficult to reach. Thanks for considering!

“Alexandra has been walking my dog for the past three months, and she has been absolutely wonderful. She is attentive, warm, and truly cares about the dogs she works with. My dog adores her! Her communication is excellent, and the photos she sends are always amazing. I couldn’t ask for a better dog walker.”

About: With 17 years of hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs, I bring a deep understanding of pet behavior, comfort, and safety. I’ve worked and volunteered at a humane society, which gave me invaluable experience with pets of all temperaments, ages, and medical needs. I’ve boarded dogs in my home, provided drop-in visits, and cared for both puppies and senior pets. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every animal like family—because that’s how I’d want my pets treated too. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I drive for Uber, Lyft, and Amazon deliveries, giving me a highly flexible schedule. I can adjust my work around pet visits, walks, or stays, ensuring that pets get the attention and care they need when they need it. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. In both my home and a client’s home, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention, supervision, and affection. I follow each pet’s routine closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, medication, or playtime. I make sure homes are secure, avoid any unsafe foods or toys, and give pets the patience they need to feel relaxed and happy. I treat every pet as if they were my own.
